Vintage Brass Sestrel 8 day Ships Clock. 6" dial. Made by Henry Browne& Son Ltd. Barking& London. The clock is in good condition. Works well ... moreand keeps good time. It has the rare and useful sweep type second hand. The plain parallel hour and minute hands are usual for a practical working marine instrument. The face diameter is 150mm 6" And was refinished some years ago with roman numerals. The bevelled glass is in very good condition. The case mounting flange diameter is 193mm 7 5/8" and the depth of the case is 80mm 3 1/8" With four countersunk fixing holes. The original key has been lost, but a radiator bleed key works well for rewinding. The brass of the case is dull and has a nice patina, so I have not polished it in the event that this is wanted, but it would be easily cleaned and has no major stains or defects. The back of the case is still bright brass, with a lacquer finish. Collection in person welcome to save on postage cost along with cash payment.

A lot of 5 vintage or antique wind-up keys 1-1/2" to 2-1/2" long for clocks. Wind-up toys, or other.I don't know much about these keys except ... morewhat I have gleaned from the internet-and I still don't know much. They have various bores ranging from two with 1/8" square bores(one has rust inside which I think could be cleaned and the other seems to have something inside the bore that could be cleaned out) two appear to be the same but the bores look different sizes-1/8" to 3/16" if my measurement is correct. One bore seems to be squared on one side and rounded on the other and the similar key almost seems to have a notched bore with a similar shape. One key is bent on the top probably from use. As for the two largest keys, one seems to have almost a clover like bore( which is about 3/16" and the largest key has a 3/16" square bore. I found some of these when cleaning out a shed man years ago, among others, and I think one or two belonged to my mother. All my collections are being sold off. Please see pictures and ask any questions you might have. I will answer promptly as best I can. The photos with the blue background were taken first and I added those with the purple background later to try to show the keys more exactly since I really can't describe them correctly. Shipping is by USPS first class; buyer is responsible for shipping costs. I combine shipping on multiple orders if purchased within the same week and paid for at the same time. The inside of the clock says-MADE IN WEST GERMANY. REGULA, and E. SCHMECKENBECHER. On the back of the door it says-WEST GERMANY, and 8 DAY. The clock measures approx. 16 inches in length, approx. 12 inches across, and approx. 6 inches deep. Things that I noticed about the clock is- 1 of the chains appear to be missing, the weights are missing, and the roof has damage on the front as seen in 1 of photos. There may be other damage and missing parts that I am not aware of; therefore, I am offering this item for sale in AS IS CONDITION. Thanks for the view!
Vtg Antique Gustav Becker Hand Carved Wood Clock- Plaque 3-Dimentional Ornate
This is a very beauiful antique wood carving that is marked on the back"Gustav Becker- Holzsohnitzer- Berghausen- Hauptstr. 80" I purchased this piece many. Many years ago, and it has been packed away in my closet, in my smoke-free home. It depicts a lovely country scene of a water mill that is very intricately carved in bas relief 3D. I am not sure what kind of wood this is, but it is very heavy and dense. The original wood color can be seen behind the painted"Gustav Becker" in the back The piece weights close to 3 pounds. It measures 15-3/8 inches wide(390 mm) and is 1-1/4 inches high(32mm) at it's highest point. There is a very old circular hanger on the back. Also on the back, there is a V shaped marking, as well as 2 very small nail holes. This may have been made if the carving was part of a clock, which I believe ... moreit was. The piece appears to be stained with different shades of brownish colors, as well as the green and white water that is coming from the bottom of the mill. There is some minor flaked paint along the upper right side, and there is a very small hairline crack along the right side rim(which I have shown in my pictures. Item Description: You are bidding on a vintage English fusee wall clock manufactured for the British government between 1910-1936. The clock measures 15.25" in diameter and is 6.25" deep. The clock is marked"GvR" which I believe stands for George Rex V. Who was the English king from 1910-1936. The clock was manufactured by Ingram Brothers of Wood Green, London who apparently supplied dial clocks to the British government for a few decades in the late 19th/early 20th centuries. The clock has been restored and was working at the time I purchased it. You may need to make some adjustments or minor repairs to get the clock to accurately keep time. Antique Car Clock This auction is for a really nice and very rare antique car clock that was made by Waltham back in the 1920s-1930s range. The clock has a pocket watch shape or design. But it’s much larger measuring about 3¼" wide, and it has a long winding stem at the bottom. The clock is mounted in a wonderful folk art case shaped like a church with a little brass bell in the stop. The dial of the clock has an up/down indicator that tells you how much wind is left in the mainspring and it has an 8-day movement. Just a great piece and in great condition with minor wear. Clock winds but won’t start, so it does need a little work. Case measures about 10½" tall and it does have age– probably from the 1930s. Guaranteed old! But luckily it has the original label on the back that says this is the Lohengrin Musical Clock model made by New Haven Clock Company back in 1888. The clock has a really great floating pillar design and is really a nice looking, ornate piece, but what makes it really special is that it has a very large, well made musical box in the bottom that is would from the front. This is a fantastic mid century clock. It runs well. The rays coming out of the clock are wood. Alternating with gold. The face of the clock is metal. GORGEOUS CLOCK This is a lovely clock with lots of red and different shades of blue stones. None are missing that I can see. The clock itself says Patented April 235r 1878 so we know this is super old. It also says Ansonia Clock Co. Sole Manufacturer USA. So we know it was made in the USA. Its really cool and its got a very high end feel to it with all the stones and the enamel work on it, lots of enamel wearing off from age. Its got an easel style back. I have no idea if the clock actually works or not, the hands do move. A lovely piece for the clock collector for sure. Offered for your consideration is this lovely. Beautifully crafted vintage antique ceramic figural mantel clock. It is in very good condition for it's age. There are no cracks, breaks, repairs or chips that I can see. There is crazing throughout the piece as seen in photos. This beautiful clock depicts a Victorian lady sitting on a chair, petting her loyal dog who is standing beside her. The dog appears to be a greyhound. Behind her is a nicely decorated clock mounted on two large columns. The clock is in good working condition. Keeps perfect time! The dark areas on the dial face, I believe, are oil from the clock movement or works. I believe after years of oiling the clock the oil came through. There are some light dents on the metal rim around the dial face but they are not very noticeable. The metal has a very nice old patina. For your consideration from a smoke free estate. For parts only. A 30's deco alarm clock. Brass finish Reads: Made Germany for Seth Thomas Clocks. Thomaston Conn 4 four jewels. Again this does not work and the listing is for parts only. It does tick when wound, so it is not wound to tight. The alarm will go off. The alarm hands do turn but the time hands do not turn. The knob to turn the hands is present and does turn but it does not work to move the hands. One of the feet is missing from the bottom. And a few of the tiny screws that hold the clock in place are missing. The glass crystal is intact notbreaks, cracks. Glass is clear. Almost all of the enamel is worn away from the brass. This is a really amazing piece that we think dates back to the beginning of the 1900's. The clock is housed in a solid bronze statue that features a cherub playing the harp and a woman looking down upon him. The base of the clock is marble with a red/pink and white swirl pattern. This is an absolutely beautiful piece with ornate decorations typical of the French style at the time. This piece comes with the key and the chime bell. The back of the bronze statue is marked"Made in France" and the back of the clock movement is marked"Horlogerie J Paris" and has a"Marquee Deposee" trademark. As well ... moreas the number"6867" stamped into the movement. We couldn't find any other marks that indicate exactly where or when this was made. This is an absolutely stunning piece that would make a great addition to any collection, and will add a real touch of class to any mantle piece! Condition: This piece is vintage and used with some wear but the springs are in great shape. When the clock is wound it goes for a short period before stopping. There is no pendulum included which it needs to keep going and the chime bell needs a nut to keep it screwed into place. There is some light wear and tarnishing to the bronze. Which is typical of bronze this age. There is some light wear to the marble base, mostly at the corners where the is a bit of wear. The bottom of this piece looks like it was repaired at some point in its history. Please look closely at the photos for condition details and ask us any questions before bidding. Vintage hand carved Cuckoo Clock made in Germany. Once beautiful German Cuckoo Clock took a tumble and is now a question mark as to its working condition. Some of the wood pieces broke off and were thrown away. And some of the metal pieces were tossed too. What is seen in the photographs is what you are bidding on. Clock still has its original"Hand-Carved" label attached and you can read"Made in Germany" on the dial face. It may be a Black Forest clock. And if not it is certainly in the style of Black Forest clocks. As I was working with this clock taking these pictures I lightly pushed the Cuckoo bird on the left side down. And as he popped back up again he made a little"peep. This Antique Pat. February 11. 1879 New Haven 30 hour Clock is in what I call incredible condition for it's age. This clock comes in the condition as shown, but still has a lot of life left in it. It does work but it is very sensitve to leveling. The Case has dings, scratches, a crack, and the clock face has paint missing. This is a windup Seiko world time travel alarm clock that was made in the 1960s. It is running and seems to keep failry good time. It lost 2 minutes in 24 hours. It may just need to be regulated. It has a wheel on the side that rotates the inner part of the dial to adjust for different parts of the world. The alarm works. I'm not sure how you use the hour markers for 24 hours, but you can turn it upside down and still use the clock. This is an old Session's Eclipse general store/school house regulator. It's a used CLOCK in excellent cosmetic condition. No notable damage. Only slight signs of age, use, and handling. The movement works and a wind-up key is included. When the clock is running, the hour and minute hands move, but the second hand doesn't. There's a formed length of wire in one of the wind-up key photos and I don't know if the wire is part of the clock. I think the wood is Solid Quarter sawn ... moreoak, but I'm no expert. It measures approximately 38 1/2" top to bottom by 17 1/2" inches wide across the top by 4½ inches deep. It has a cottage on a lake scene under the dial. It came with a German movement(Hermle movement) The movement is missing and in its place is a modern Double A(AA) battery operated movement. Hi, You are looking at a Beautiful Vintage Howard Miller 612-494 No. 125 Westminster Chime battery Mantle Clock. Made in USA. Batteries not included. Overall. The clock is in great condition clean inside and out, very well kept as seen in pics. After placing two new batteries and switching the clock(On) We found the chimes function beautifully upon moving the time-set knob in the back. All the gong hammers work and there's a time where 3 hammers strike the chimes at the same time. The only thing that doesn't appear to work yet is time-movement. We believe it may be something minute considering how good condition it's in.maybe a minor adjustment will get the time-movement functioning again.
