1860s-1880s vintage E. Ingraham large 24" tall oak case"Regulator" clock. Time only. Large 12" dial pan, original upper and lower glass. Has received an in-home restoration fairly recently, case was refinished and the dial face was repainted by hand, giving it a bit of whimsy to the numbers. Back board was replaced with new masonite and they did a good job of it; should last for generations to come. Keeps excellent time. I believe it was serviced recently too. I think it's an 8 day movement, but I haven't run it long enough to be sure- ticks rather loudly and our apartment is small. Pleased to offer this beautiful early 1900s vintage 8 Day Round Face Schoolhouse Wall Clock. Believed to have been made by The Union Clock Company of Japan. Features time and hour strike, OGEE curves to the bottom face, hand-painted red tiger wood finsh, updated movement and metal dial face from Korea which should last another 100+ years. 21" tall, 12" wide. Showing lots of"patina" to the finish. Runs strong but is gaining time; perhaps a longer wood pendulum shaft would be in order, or some more weight to the bob. It features some very stunning natural swirls all around the Dark Rosewood cabinetry. This clock is a 2 glass affair with the round dial door glass. And bottom black w/ gold imagery. There are a couple very light scratches on the wood frame of the clock. It also has some wear along the edges. Also, on the back it has some paint run along the edges. The glass door on the bottom has light surface scratches. The pendulum is included. The hinge on the side of the glass is a little bit loose(needs to be tighten up) The weight of the bezel tends to lean down. The door does not close tightly. The face shows signs of tin wear. Hi, You are looking at beautiful Gustav Becker wall clock. This clock measures 79 cm tall and 35 cm wide and has a very nice wooden oak case. The clock needs a key to wind up which comes with it. It needs winding every 8 days. The clock has a large circle shaped pendulum inside the case. The sound of this clock is quite loud but magnificent. A deep and warm bell sound. On the clockface there is the maker's mark GB. This clock is antique since the brand was created in 1899. And in 1930 it merged with Junghans When the Second World War ended, the company stopped producing clocks, and today, Gustav Becker clocks are no longer produced. Thanks for your time. It chimes on the half hour and hour. The dial looks good and the hands are nice. The movement has been lubed with fine swiss clock oil and a new gong hammer was installed(after the picture) The old hammer will be included. The case is missing 3 finials on the top and I do not believe the topper is original but it is older. I don't see any damage to this case and the glass looks good. Antique 1880's Oak Waterbury Clock Co. Wall Regulator'Pointed Drop' School House Clock. This antique Waterbury school house clock has been in our home for almost 20 years. It is in great working condition. Keeps very good time. The finish on the oak case in original and in very nice condition. Brass bezel. Painted tin dial in very good condition, numbers are quite clear, great antique patina. Comes with original pendulum. Replacement multi wind key. Clock Measurements: H 24.5" x 16.5" x 6" Condition: Overall very good for age. The inside frame of the door shows signs of wear. The hinges on the door are a bit loose and need tightening/ adjusting. Very nice. Very original Gustav Becker 3 weight Vienna Regulator fully embossed weights. Pendulum and dial, This clock has an above average gong tone, kinda soft and pleasant compared to some twangy gongs. S/N 434.849 is fairly early considering he made 2.25 million clocks(aprox year 1884- 1880 is S/N 260,000 and 1885 is S/N 500,000) This clock was cleaned and restrung a few yrs ago and all is still well, fully functional and in very good condition. I just reoiled now as I was trying to decide who to keep and who to let go, this one pains me to let go but I have to many The case is all tight,the bottom finial dowel is broken but there is enough to insert and for the clock to hold it so it stays in the case as I do not approve of gluing finials to the clock. Antique Wall Clock Vienna Regulator 1 Weight SCHUTZ Nice
This is an awesome little SHUTZ 1 weight Vienna Regulator. I would guess this is fairly early from the case style maybe 1875. The S/N is shown. It has been cleaned and restrung and is in good working order. The case is in very good condition aside from the base. It needs someone to find an appropriate base. I am sending the base as pictured with the clock, I took it off as it is only barley attached because it isn't a perfect match, it can be used as is or strip the base and try and match the color better or? The base is currently attached with 2 screws from the bottom but they do not break thru, there is no glue, and no visible scars to the clock have been made.
