This cup and saucer is in excellent used condition. No chips,cracks or wear, the iridescent colors are bright and vibrant, the inside of the cup has ornate gold trim as well as pearlized coloring. The handle of the cup is very ornate and gold colored. The ornately footed cup measures 3 1/4" tall and 3 1/2" wide at the mouth of cup, the pierced saucer measures 6" wide. Pretty cup and saucer is. I believe, soft paste. No markings. Nice floral decoration. Almost aesthetic style. Saucer is not quite 6” diameter; about 1-1/8” tall. Base is 3-1/8” diameter. Cup base diameter is 1-7/8” top is 3.75” diameter. Excluding handle. Stands 2-3/8” to top of body; 2.5” to top of handle. Very good condition with a couple minor flaws: The cup has a small darkened split on the rim about 1/8” long in and outside. Almost directly opposite the handle. There are a couple nicks around the base of the cup. With only one showing barely a tad on the side of the base. Otherwise only visible looking straight down at the bottom. The saucer has 3 or 4 splits or hairlines on the edge. The longest 1/2" that show a hint of darkening. Saucer also shows crazing. There are minor specks of dirt or inclusions here and there in both. Unmarked Floral Pattern Tea Cup & Saucer
Offered for auction is this decorative tea cup and saucer. The cup measures 3-3/8" across and 3-1/8" high. The saucer is just under 6" across. There is a label on the bottom of the saucer. But it is unreadable. I suspect this is from contemporary Japan. Nice decorative piece with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

Fine and delicate porcelain cup and saucer. The diminutive cup measures 3" in diameter and 1 3/4" in depth. The saucer measures 4 3/4" in diameter. It is small but not quite demitasse or espresso size. The primary color is a very soft matte green on the outside of the cup and the surface of the saucer. There is a white rim adorned with pink flowers and separated from the green with a series of pink raised dots. The underside of the saucer and the inside rim of the cup is a very pale matte pink. There is gilt highlighting on the rim of the cup and separating the pink border from the white inside the cup. There is an embossed design around the base of the cup and the central ring of the saucer. The set is in fine condition having no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches or discoloration. There is no maker's mark but the initials ... moreAEB have been added to the underside of the saucer. We suspect these are the initials of the collector since we purchased a quantity of fine porcelain from Limoges at the estate sale and many pieces have these initials added.
