Up for bids is a Vintage/Antique Japan 3 Toed Footed Teacup that is beautifully Hand painted with a Black background& a Pink Poppy Flower with Gold Gilt. The exterior of the teacup is a stunning pearl iridescent luster. No saucer is included. The teacup measures 3 7/8 round and 2 1/4" in tall. The teacup is in nice Vintage/Antique condition. But the teacup is missing it's saucer. No chips or cracks in the teacup. The gold gilt handle& rim has slight wear marks. The exterior of the cup is a pearlized luster in white and the 3 toed/feet are in good solid condition with the gilt intact. There is no marker/sticker anywhere. Unfortunately, I cannot place on it an exact date. The painted scene is light, as if a watercolor, and captures the look of a seaside"country" house.
