Clock Collectors and Restorers this one is for you at the moment and you will find this one hard to get. Especially in such good untouched condition. It is an alarm clock in what was once a beautiful wooden case. It still looks great but could be stronger if reglued. It is held together with nails so although you could keep it old and untouched one might want to pull it to bits and glue it all together and polish it up. I will give others restorers first dibs and if no takers will unlist it and do my own restoration job on it. However although the case is fine as it is some people might think it needs restoring to bring it up to magnificent condition. The movement is great except for one thing. The running train spring has dislodged from the ... morewinder so needs reattaching. Have a look at the cute little old movement Simplicity indeed. Here is an Antique Wooden Mantle Clock with Metal Accents. It has spent over 50 years in the family attic. And it was old when it was first put there by my parents. I have no information about the make. As there are no labels or markings that I can find. The clock has a ceramic dial and metal accents on the front as shown in the photos. The cabinet looks to be mahogany( and is the original finish with patina. Includes weighted pendulum. I don't know if the movement is working. There is no winding key. The door in back is broken and appears to have been repaired at some point. Measurements: 11-1/2"H x 8-1/2"W x 4-3/4"D. Sold AS-IS. I have no idea of the clock's value so this could be a real bargain. Will ship to the 48 states only. Thanks for looking.
