Beautiful decorative art deco lustreware clock with Peter of Germany time piece. The clock appears to be all there. But is not working, and there is some tarnishing around the clock face. While there are no chips or crack to the ceramic that I can see, there is some slight crazing here and there. Regardless, the piece still displays beautifully. This Clock is made by Sessions and is marked Model"W" In back. The clock is Gorgeous! It features a 10"x 3" x 1" thick marble base and a 7" diameter(3/4" thick) marble disc around the clock works. There are 2 round ball marble pieces on both sides of the clock. The balls are about 1.5" in diameter. The white marble has some reddish brown streaks. The base has a felt backing to protect the surface of the mantle. The clock face is metal gray with gold tone numbers. Black hands, and a red sweep second hand. The clock housing case is also gold tone. This clock is very heavy and has an electric cord in the back. The condition of the clock is near ... moreperfect! There is one very small chip in the back of the clock at about 1:30. This clock is an Emes German made model which when new had a stunning French polished finish in a beautiful dark colour. Look at the first and third photo for the true colour and the second for the wood grain on the top. For a bit more outlay I would get a French polisher to bring it back to its original look although it still looks a great clock as it is. Look at the photos to see a couple of dings in the case commensurate with its age but the movement is in excellent nick and the bezel and dial are the most stunning. It was working about 2 years ago when it was moved from my late brother in laws home. I don't have the key and don't want to touch it as I am not qualified to do so. Antique NEW HAVEN MANTLE CLOCK Vintage Wood Case Shelf Tambour 1920's Art Deco
New Haven Mantle Clock This is a gorgeous old New Haven clock with a lovely shape. The latest patent date on the clock mechanisms is 8-14-23. This clock has a rich. Dark finished wood case. I believe the clock face is metal. There are three positions on the clock face for winding as well as the chime. The face is marked Chime Silent in addition to the New Haven mark on the lower part of the face. There is a key included, it is from Germany. A pendulum is also included. I consider the clock body and face to be in quite nice condition. The only alteration that I see is that it looks like someone may have used a very small nail to hold the hands on the clock. I have tested this. The clock keeps time and chimes. The chimes have a nice sound to them, it's not too gongy and loud. There are some very minor scratches on the case and the front ... morehas a mark where it looks like someone may have left a piece of tape on it for awhile. The glass door on the front opens and closes well in addition to the door on the back. This measures approximately 20.5" long. 9.5" tall and 5.75" deep. The pendulum and the key will be individually wrapped. I will place some bubble wrap against the face of the clock inside the door. This will be double boxed to avoid trauma during transit. I will combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever possible. Here is a fantastic Art Deco clock made of Alabaster with metal feet and bezel. It measures 8-1/2 inches wide. 5-1/2 inches tall and is 2-3/4 inches deep. The alabaster is beautifully grained and has a fantastic aged patina. Two of the skyscraper styled pillars are painted black, with a natural one sandwiched in the middle. The black paint is flaking off one of the pillars, and there is wear to the black paint on others. Made with an amazing grained walnut& rosewood veneer is in lovely condition and could well be French polished it looks so nice. What a cutie to grace your drawing room mantel and is in great condition for its age. The hands are art deco indeed. Notice the back door and shiny chrome bezel around the convex glass which opens very nicely and closes satisfactorily with a little help. Nice vintage Sessions table clock. No alarm on this clock. Its a creamy yellow color and does have some soil marks that I couldn't get off. Also has a couple marks on the face. 1938 Art Deco Kienzle Vintage German Alarm Desk Clock with Radioactive Face!
Here is a genuine Kienzle German-made Art Deco 1930's Alarm Desk Clock. Great looking piece and had the added interest of having the early radioactive. Glow in the dark paint on the numerals and hands. This was very expensive and innovative in the 1930's. I've shown in one of the photos a reading on my Geiger-counter with it at the clocks face. The reading is 0.2 milli-roentgens. This radioactivity is not considered dangerous unless the actual material of the radio-active paint is ingested into the body. But it does make the piece very interesting. The clock is not currently in working order. It's what is commonly termed overwound.the spring is still good, but is fully wound and wont wind anymore but you can feel the mainspring is not broken.but the clock won't run. The alrm function is still working well, but the little ... moreadjusting knob on the back is missing. Still a great piece and well worth having to get it repaired or for display. The clock has been awarded as a trophy in the 1930's and is engraved along the bottom front with the words: Adelaide& Suburban Cricket Assn. 1938-39 Bowling Average Grade III Won by R Chapman Av. 6.7" Overall width is 15cm. There are a few small chips in the marble as you can see in the photos. Please look over the photos carefully. This clock is not working and needs a good cleaning. The brass ring around the face is quite tarnished, as is the brass cover on the back. I bought these at an estate sale about 20 years ago and never had the money to have it restored. The case in our opinion is somewhere in the 1920's to 1930's, the movement was replaced later on and is a 1960's from the Kieninger Clock Company of Germany. This piece has a wonderful wooden case with carved details all around including ball drop waterfalls on either side. Note the thickness of all the wood, it is old 1" thick boards, right down to the wood on the door. There is split in the mounting board for the movement from a long time ago that has had a repair attempt, overall general wear to the case, especially to the lower section. We pulled the movement out to check it over and the the board does hold together well. We verified its function and found that it chimes on the quarter hour and chimes full on the hour as well as striking the number of the hour. It measures approx. 80" x 22" x 11" and is quite heavy. Due to the large size and semi-delicate nature of this piece we will be offering it as Pick Up Only. 1930s Vintage Art Deco Sessions Bakelite Alarm Clock
WORKING 1930s Sessions alarm clock. This is the much harder-to-find model that includes an alarm. I am not a collector but had it checked out at a local clock shop. It appears to be all original except the cord has been repaired/replaced. No damage to the case and the clock and alarm both work. This clock has hour. Minute, second, and alarm hands. The hour hand has an open circle. Note: The electrical wrapping on the repaired cord lays against the metal clock mechanism casing. Which is also the alarm"bell. This means the alarm is somewhat muted. If you want it to ring clearly you could have the cord repair done better. Buyer pays shipping via USPS Priority Mail.

Vintage ART DECO Mantle Mantel CLOCK Key Wind with Key... Restoration Project
On offer I have an old vintage MANTLE CLOCK Key Wind. Key is included. In poor condition. Not working, good for restoration project or parts. Found as-is.Clock has been sitting in an old factory loft for 40 years or more and is very dusty and marked. Glass front missing? One foot pad missing on one side. Wood veneer is dry and cracked. Open little door at back and the movement looks quite good still and looks like there's a pendulum bob. I'm not an expert and I don't know if it's complete so please see photos for a closer look at parts. Can't see a makers mark but it does have Made in England on clock face and back movement. But I have a key that I checked the clock out with and the pegs seem to me that they are very tight, so I don't know if it's a matter of it being wound too tight or just ... moreneeds some adjusting or what, so this is a As Is auction. I moved the pendulum by hand and it moved the hands for a few minutes and I placed the hand right before 9 o'clock and it moved to 9 on it's own and the hammer struck the chime 9 times on it's on.but other than that. I did not spend a lot of time moving the pendulum by hand. The glass door face is not cracked or chipped. The Numbers face is curled in a few spots which you should be able to see in the photos. It does show scratches and scuffs as you can see by the photos. It is missing the back cover.it comes just like you see it. One of the front legs is a little loose. I think it's just a matter of missing a nail. The clock measures: approx. 15" Long x 10 1/4" Tall x 6" Wide I did not polish or clean the clock. So I know it can look better cosmetically with a good cleaning or polishing with some scratch guard if you choose to. Please ask any questions you have Before bidding. All sales are final.
