I bought a large collection(from the Estate of an entertainer and piano teacher) and am still sorting maybe 2000 pieces of music-sheet. Books, magazines and more! The SM is from 1890(that the oldest I've found so far) to 1977(ditto) All genres: yes, there's Rag, Blackface, Blues, Transportation, Military, and all the rest, So, put me in your Favorite Sellers and check in now and then. Northwood Singing Birds "Blue Birds" tumbler and bowls RARE
Up for auction are a RARE tumbler and two individual bowls in the Singing Birds"Blue Birds" pattern by Northwood Glass circa 1911. The color is crystal with blue staining. The blue staining on the bowls shows hardly no wear at all. The blue staining on the tumbler shows more wear. The bowls are marked with the underlined N. Blue Birds pieces are rarely seen. However. There are some issues with these pieces. The tumbler has a 1/2" chip on the edge of the foot. One bowl has some chipping/nicking on the inner rim of the scallops. The other bowl is cracked. Considering how rare it is to find Blue Birds pieces, I could not discard them. These pieces would make fine shelf pieces to complete a set until a better replacement may be found. Here is a chance for you to add these rare pieces to your collection. Singing Birds Berry Bowl and Robin Mug ............Nice!
Up for auction are two vintage carnival glass items.One is Northwood and the other is Imperial. The berry bowl has Northwood's Singing Bir d s pattern and has the base color green.The mug has Imperial's Robin pattern and has the base color marigold. The iridesce n c e and color on both pieces is excellent.Especially on the Robin mug. There are several condition issues on both items,the berry bowl has very small fleabites(6) and a tiny shallow chip. This is a wonderful vintage Audubon battery operated clock. The clock has twelve singing song bird photo's that are crisp. Colorful and clean. The clock plays twelve different song birds sounds on the hour. It has a sensor button and everytime the red button is pressed it resets the musical bird sounds. This clock has a matte green colored frame. The vintage Audubon clock takes 3 AA batteries. There are no cracks or chips and the clock keeps time and works well. The clock measures 13 1/2" x 13 1/2" I see a small amount of wear on the bottom edge of the clock that can be touch up. Does not take away from this lovely Audubon clock.

This is a totally genuine and rare antique singing bird automation which has not been touched in its entire life.It dates from the last quarter of the nineteenth century and should not be confused with the plentiful lower quality examples made in the middle of the 20th Century. Equally importantly.It is not a modern reproduction made to look like an antique. As you can see from the pictures the larger red coloured bird is in excellent condition and is in perfectly presentable condition once carefully cleaned.The beak opens(not sure if its head is supposed to move) and its tail wags. Vintage 4 Movement German Musical Cuckoo Clock Man Singing Birds Feeding Baby. Bid on this German cuckoo clock. It measures 11 1/2" high by 8 1/2" wide by 6" deep. It is marked"Germany" on the front of the clock. This is a 4 movement musical clock. When the hour strikes 12. The two adult birds bent up and down to"feed" the baby. The adult birds have glass eyes. The cuckoo bird comes out and chirps how ever many times for what the time is. The man in the second door comes out and a song is played. I do not know what the song is called. At the half hour, the bird comes out and chirps once. There are three weights that hang from the clock. There is a pendulum with a leaf at the end of it. The back is marked with instructions for operating it. There is also a tag that says"Dritter Mann" on it. It is ... moreincised with"Germany" on the back. It does need a good cleaning. The pendulum does have a glued repair on the left hand side of the leaf and a glued repair on the stem also. These repairs can be seen in my close up photos. Excellent mold, no chips, cracks or condition issues and a most awesome carnival colored surface. The first three photos were taken with a flash, while the rest are in natural light. The gold on the rim and along the paneled sides is just brilliant, and all the colors take on an electric glow. Green base color is seen in a few of the pictures, but especially picture 7. The mold is crisp and sharp, as seen on the all-around pattern of a thorned tree branch, complete with flowers and singing birds. I use to love these o ld pictures. Can remember them from at least my teen years. Some move. Some don't. Th is one doesn't move; just lights up and there is a sound knob to raise or lower sound of rushing water and bir ds chirping in the trees. Very calming and a pretty scene. There are some areas where the picture has slid some under the glass. But not real noticeable unless you look closely. I have taken pictures of the areas and of the frame. Some rough areas that c ould or cou ld not be touched up. All in all. Seems to be in good shape. The unit plugs in and there is a switch on the cord to turn on and off. The volume switch. As shown, is on the side of the frame. Vintage piece of Americana. I wold say! Weight is around 1 2 lbs. Thanks for looking!
