Vintage/Antique Sessions Marble Art Deco Electric Mantle/Table Clock- Works! Up for bids is a Vintage/Antique Sessions Marble Art Deco Electric Mantle/Table Clock. This Clock is made by Sessions and is marked Model"W" In back. The clock is Gorgeous! It features a 10"x 3" x 1" thick marble base and a 7" diameter(3/4" thick) marble disc around the clock works. There are 2 round ball marble pieces on both sides of the clock. The balls are about 1.5" in diameter. The white marble has some reddish brown streaks. The base has a felt backing to protect the surface of the mantle. The clock face is metal gray with gold tone numbers. Black hands, and a red sweep second hand. The clock housing case is also gold tone. This clock is very heavy and has an electric cord in the back. The condition of the clock is near ... moreperfect! There is one very small chip in the back of the clock at about 1:30. Another beautiful mantle clock I couldn't pass up from a recent estate sale I went to. Unique designs. Love the dark green color columns. The metal deco of a lady holding what looks to be a harp on each side, metal deco on sides and beautiful designs as you will see in the 12 photos uploaded. I was told, and information I have received or have been told in the past has been wrong at times, so PLEASE be your own judge and PLEASE look at all the photos. Someone mentioned it as a"WAGNER" and, I was also told it's a Mozart Circa 1918. It is without the glass over the face. Again, NO glass over the face of the clock. There's crackling on the material of the face/dial, from age and it being in used, antique condition, I assume. On the front of the face at the bottom, MADE BY THE SESSIONS CO. FORESTVILLE CONN. U.S.A. The front ... morehas the metal claw feet on each side. Measuring the widest part, which is the claw feet and where they come out, side to side, again, including the claw feet, approximately 16 1/4 inches. Measuring front to back, including the claw feet, approximately 6 inches. It displays approximately 11 3/4 inches tall. I took pictures of all sides angles, even the inner parts/mechanism. I couldn't get it to run. I really do not know what it needs. I think, and my opinion only, the pendulum is not mounted right because I found another pendulum type piece loose inside. It has the key with it. It strikes a deep sounding cathedral gong to the count of the hour/s and once on a bell for the half hour. I am not a clock expert and do not know exactly what it needs. So hopefully someone that knows about clocks will be able to tell more about it by looking at the photos uploaded. The scales show it weighing 9 pounds and 0.6 ounces. For Sale is our 1920 Sessions"1608" Beehive shaped Mantle/ Mantel eight day wind-up clock with key and pendulum. The clock has a soothing Tick-Tock. Single chimes on the hour, and bell chime at the half hour. We refurbished this clock and will provide a 1-year warranty; with our new bushings and synthetic oils, this family treasure will remain operational for many years. This unique Beehive shaped clock has a porcelain face that is in remarkable condition it does have age to it and a minor hairline; looking closely to the face it brings us back to a time long gone when porcelain was used to present a solid appearance vice a metal/paper look. The hands are original and in very good condition. The case is carved oak with hard trim around the base. This clock has solid chimes on the hour and bell chime for the half hour. The hammer ... moreis in wonderful condition and movement cleaned up real well.the brass shows quite well when opening the back door. We did need to install our high quality bushings on the pivot holes that were rounded or ovaled. With the new bushings. The wheels(gears) rotate very smooth; without the gear wobble, the clock operate much more accurately. The"1608" Stands 12" high and is 9" wide across the front. It has a depth of 5" This attractive clock was found at a antique store needing a makeover; we are glad we had the opportunity to work on such a pretty clock. We attached four felt pads to the bottom of the clock to prevent scratching of the mantel. These beautifully restored clocks make super wedding. Up for auction is an antique Sessions temple style mantle or shelf clock in a medium toned wood. This clock is 10 3/4 in. high. 15 1/2 in. wide and 6 1/4 in. deep. The face is marked Made By The Sessions Clock Co. Forestville, Conn. U.S.A. The movement is marked similarly. The pendulum is marked with an S. This attractive looking clock runs and keeps good time. It gongs on the hour and the bell rings on the half hour. There is some light scratching on the center of the glass door. The back door isn't all original and the side handles are missing. The case has some small punch marks which are visible in the pictures. This is still a nice clock that displays well. Please look at all the enlarged pictures as they are part of the description. 1940s antique Sessions Mantle Clock Victorian Marbled Green Gold Gilt ORNATE!
This is a beautiful large mantel clock in gorgeous marbled green and white trimmed in gold. Victorian theme with Victorian couple among roses. Made by Sessions c1940's. In like great condition. Sits10.5" tall, 11" wide and 4" deep. There are no cracks or breaks. The clock has a lot of crazing. It was working fine until my husband stepped on the cord plug. It definitely needs a new cord. Very ornate gilded legs and lion head handles on each end. The body is an ebony colored wood. The face has yellowed and crackled. The front legs are a little wobbly, the top has wear and a few chips to the paint, and there is some oxidation to the metal around the face. I moved the pendulum by hand and it moved the hands for a few minutes and I placed the hand right before 9 o'clock and it moved to 9 on it's own and the hammer struck the chime 9 times on it's on.but other than that. I did not spend a lot of time moving the pendulum by hand. The glass door face is not cracked or chipped. The Numbers face is curled in a few spots which you should be able to see in the photos. It does show scratches and scuffs as you can see by the photos. It is missing the back cover.it comes just like you see it. One of the front legs is a little loose. I think it's just a matter of missing a nail. The clock measures: approx. 15" Long x 10 1/4" Tall x 6" Wide I did not polish or clean the clock. Vintage ART DECO SESSIONS CLOCK Mantle? Piece Brass & Wood...Restoration Project
On offer I have an old vintage SESSIONS CLOCK Piece.Made in U.S.A. In poor condition. Not working, good for restoration project or parts. Looks like it was the frontpiece of a Mantle or Column clock? Found as-is.Clock has been sitting in an old factory loft for 40 years or more and is very dusty and marked. Glass front is there in good condition. No chips or cracks. Brass rim around clock face and glass. Clock is mounted on a very art deco decorative wooden board. Two holes in front for key wind, no key with it unfortunately. I'm not an expert and I don't know if movement is complete so please see photos for a closer look at parts. Decorative wooden board measures 18.5cm long. 16.5cm high and glass face measures 14cm across. Postage will depend on your postcode or Pick-Up is fine. Any questions please email me.

Sessions Mantle Clock - Mahogany "Leader No. 3"
This Sessions mantle clock belonged to my late mother. About all I know about it is what I can read on the rear label- here are the highlights: LEADER No. 3(Model) Mahogany Night-Day Half-Hour Strike Cathedral Gong Turn Back I wound the clock up a little to test it. And both the clock and the gong worked. There's a small ding in the upper edge of the glass by the edge. And some kind of red coloring in the lower right corner of the front panel. Both the original Sessions pendulum and clock key are included. That's about all I know. But I'll be happy to answer any questions. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. Sorry. Art Deco Sessions Antique Wood Mantle or Shelf Clock- Electric Spin Start
This is an Art Deco brown wood electric Sessions spin start shelf or mantle clock. I t runs but is slow. Needs cleaning and adjusting. The case is in very good condition with a few nicks as one usually finds in an antique. The clock is 10" tall and about 8" wide and 3" deep. It has a glass lens and the face is in very good condition. The face is about 5.5" across. A very lovely and well cared for clock.

This clock is running and striking very well. The glass has a gold pattern which lifts the clock even more. The distinctive pendulum is also finely patterned brass and so suitable to the look of the rest of the clock. It is striking the hours. You are viewings a very nice old estate mantle clock that is over 100 years old. It has been running and chiming continuously until I allowed it to run down for shipment. Everything is original except the hinges on the door. They do not look as old as the clock. The faded card inside the clock identifies it as a Sessions from Forestville. CN. It has a soft, pleasant chime on the half hour and chimes out the full hour. The Sessions Clock Company was founded in 1903 and as far as I know switched to electric clocks in the 1930's and are still in business today.
