For sale is a 1920's Coca Cola"BALCONY" Clock The New Haven Clock Company! WORKS! This is a beautiful estate find that is part of this amazing estate that I am auctioning off. This clock is in AMAZING condition for it's age and appears to be totally original. All parts and pieces are present accept for the winding key. I took a standard winding key from an antique wind up toy and it fit and wound just fine. They are easy to find on EBay. Clock runs. And pendulum moves smoothly. Not sure if any adjustments or oil is necessary as I am no clock expert. Minor scuffs on the exterior. The clock is made by The New Haven Clock Company founded in 1817. The mechanics of the clock are bright and beautiful and the model number on the plate is 325. It appears to be made of oak but not positive. It measures approximately 14 1/2" ... moreX 14 1/2" X 4 1/2" The glass door opens and appears to be the original glass. There is a"trap door" on the underside to make any adjustments to the pendulum by twisting the screw on the bottom to make the clock go faster or slower. The original stamp with directions is still intact on the reverse side. At the top you can still make out the word"BALCONY" as perhaps this was in a theatre or the like. The finish has very slight crazing but that adds to the beautiful antiquity of this clock. All hardware and mechanics other than the clock hands appear to be brass. This would make a fine addition to any Coca Cola or clock collector. The condition alone makes this a true"time machine" piece. If you have any other questions, I will do my best to answer them but keep in mind that I am not a clock expert and am selling a huge estate of many rare antique items.
