This auction is for an antique New Haven Clock Co Banjo No. 3 clock. The back is signed and dated. Looks like the signature says Deleany possibly. The date is 1-9-41 G1 but I am not sure if this is a manufacture date. Serial# EC-611-23T. This clock functions when plugged in. It seems to take a couple of attempts to when advancing the button on the face but it has fired up every time I have tried. The ocean scene on the bottom is of some men rowing out to their ship. Please read condition notes and look at the pictures. The clock is usable as it is but needs work to get it perfect.

Ogee 30 hour Weight Driven Clock. This clock comes in rough condition as shown. It does work but it is very sensitve to leveling. It actually likes to be leaning a little forward to work and stay running. At close to 130 years old the fact that it still exists in any condition and runs is amazing to me. Case has dings. Clock face has paint missing please see all photos. This a great collector piece that I personally would leave as is but if you want a restoration project the bare bones of a working clock are here. But I think I over-wound it and don't know how to fix it now. It's an unusual swivel clock with steeples on the sides that are not chipped or cracked, which is unusual. The face is an elliptical shape with convex glass. This wind up clock is mahogany and brass. The finish is very dark and crackled but completely intact with no chips. It is very difficult to read, but in my opinion and upon close inspection, the lettering on the face appears to read Tree Time Tellers, at least I always assumed it said that. By viewing photograph#2, you may be able to decipher the ... morelettering. The overall sizeof the clock is as follows: 8" wide at the base by 7" to the top of the steeples by 2 1/2" deep. The actual elliptical portion of the clock measures 1 1/2" thick by 4 1/2" wide by 5 1/4" tall. If you have any questions. Antique JEROME& CO 8-Day Striking Alarm Steeple Clock with RARE BRASS THERMOMETER PENDULUM Made in New Haven. Connecticut(USA) in the 1880's. It has obvious wear and blemishes in the wood(rosewood? finish) you would expect to see in a clock of this age. There are no signs of any prior damage or repair to the case. The clock face is about 4-3/4" in diameter and has wear at the key holes. The brass thermometer pendulum needs to be repaired/re-soldered. Moves freely and is dated 1881. The clock strikes/chimes and works fine. I t's highly recommended it be professionally serviced as with any piece of this age. The key is not included and the crystal and the hour hand are missing. The face appears to be the original porcelain and it seems to have been removed at some point. Since it is not perfectly centered. The gold gilt is in good condition, with signs of wear(see up close photos) The clock is approximately 10 1/4" high and base is 3" X 4 1/2" I am not sure if the clock is in working order.
