The exception is what appears to be a minor(1/4" area in the back where the marble is not smooth. This appears to be an inclusion in the marble, and not damage. The is some(age-appropriate) wear to the clock face. The pendulum is affixed inside, and appears to work properly, but I do not have a key. The clock case is signed"S. Gonthiez. Denain(France) It measures 12.5" wide, 9" tall. and 5" deep. The garnitures are 6.5" tall, and 4.75" in diameter. I have not tested the movement. And can make no guarantee about the works. I bought this clock some 12+ yrs ago& it hung in our living room for a long time. There is no makers mark I'm afraid. Not sure of it's origin. Saw another 1 like in in Jan that came from France. It chimes if I remember correctly, every half hour& every hour. It comes with a key that's marked from England& the back of the pendulum is marked Depose. We took it down because the hour hand got bumped& hangs loose now. Since I am no clock repair person, I leave it to the experts. It has 2 bottom push away's to balance it on the wall for proper running, meaning they screw out to balance it. There is a small screw in type piece in 1 of the picks, we always assumed it went on the end of the pendulum, your call. A simple mechanism inside, please see pics. It is large, measuring 11 1/4 inches wide, 25 1/2 inches tall& ... more6 1/4 inches deep. The wood has not been restored or even polished in a long time. The cord is dry and brittle as shown so I have not tested it. So the working condition is unknown. The base is solid wood, the female figure is made of some type of metal with a gold finish. The clock is mounted inside a circular piece of wood as shown. It is made by Sessions, not sure when it was made but by the style I'm guessing the mid to late 1930's. Ronsstuff ANTIQUE INGRAHAM MANTLE CLOCK Antique Ingarham model SSC5 mantle clock in good condition. It does have a few small scratches but overall it is quite nice. The chime was working but not striking at the right time. I turned the screw on the back to try to adjust it and now it isn't chiming at all. Someone who knows about clocks could adjust it properly. This is the Ingraham model SSC5 mantle clock. Probably from the late 1930's. It is a self-starting electric design which chimed on the hour and half hour, hence the grill on the front. The styling is quite attractive and the real wood carvings along the bottom edge are a great touch. It stands about 9 inches high, and is six inches wide at the base. This wall clock had been a family clock for a years. My grand grand father had bought it(don't know the maker or where he had bought it. Only know that it is that old) Probably t was made during the 1930's or 1940's, as far as I'm familiar with it. It had been at my grand father room since the 50's, and I remember that he got it as a family treasure. The mechanism had been removed few years ago, since it had stopped working, so it is not running right now, but probably can be repaired to work again by placing a new clock mechanism. otherwise, this wall clock wooden case/box is in great condition, only few little scratches made during the long years(which can be seen on the photos) I hope I provide enough photos to represent it as closely as I can. Rare Hard to find Late 30's early 40's Veglia"Made in Italy" Wind up alarm clock with repeat and silent buttons. This is a Black Face Clock(Supposedly harder to find than the white face ones) It runs for a short while. But has something wrong with the winding mechanism, possible broken spring. It needs some TLC. The case has a bit of rust on it. As can be seen in photos. There is a slight dint in it where I guess it has been dropped. There is a crack in the glass as can be seen in picture. The clock runs for a while then stops as the spring holds no tension. The alarm works fine. Veglia is the same company that makes the gauges for early Ducati's.

The case is solid wood. I am not certain of the type of wood. But it is a warm honey finish. The finish has been cleaned and smoothed- not stripped- and dpoes retain the small grazing lines of its age, but these are very small and actually add to its character. The small tablet in the lower front contains a print of Victorian Ladies in full dress. This is a print placed behind an early form of plastic instead of glass. 1930's, Compact Antique Mantle / Bedside Clock. Solid Huon Pine Body.
This auction is for a compact antique mantle clock made from solid Huon Pine I think. The clock measures 25 cm across and 11.5 cm in height and is an attractive little piece. I mechanism isn't working. The spring needs repair. There are a couple of small chips in the wood near the edge of the face and the body would benefit from a touch of wood polish, but it would be easy to turn this into a beautiful working piece with a little tlc. The mechanism and face are marked'Made In Japan' from the early 1900's I think. This clock is much smaller than similar clockld be repaired or have another mechanism inserted. It comes immediately from the wall from a estate. Clock comes with original key. But does not run possible it needs to be oiled or checked. Hunters cuckoo clock antique pre 1930's
Offered for auction is a awesome hunters black forest cuckoo clock. This cuckoo clock was made in the pre 1930s in GERMANY. This clock is made out of black forest wood including the antlers. The clock measures 201/2 X 14 inches. The clock was originally owned by a prominent cheese baron who collected old clocks. Most of his clocks were destroyed when the cheese factory had a massive fire. Only a few clocks were saved. The owner of the cuckoo clock died two years later. The remaining assets were auctioned and sold.A local farmer was high bidder and became the new owner of the awesome hunters black forest cuckoo clock. This is a very rare one day hunters cuckoo clock. The cuckoo bird cuckoos on the hour and the half hour as does the chime. The cuckoo clock is in its original condition. ANTIQUE German Made Complete Gufa Mantel Wind-Up Clock.1930's with Westminster chimes. Has quarter hour chimes and chimes on the hour. You can turn off the quarterly chimes with a lever near the 3 on the dial. This clock is absolutely beautiful in appearance and has beautiful mellow chimes. The story behind this clock is that it was purchased by a U.S. Air Force member in England in 1965 from an antique store. In 1926 the UK had a law that required imported items to be labeled"foreign" If you look at the number six on the dial. You can see this label. It was brought back to America in the mid 70's. It had been in the same family's household since it was purchased. This clock is running great. Chiming beautifully, and keeping great time. VINTAGE HERMLE MANTEL CLOCK Dating back to the Art Deco period of the 1930's. This large clock and casing are in excellent condition! Still keeps excellent time! The clock pendulum is homemade but it is permanent and adjustable to fine tune the clock's beat. The clock has Westminster chimes on every quarter hour and a three bar strike on the hour. The tone is loud and impressive. Both the chimes and strike. The lacquer on the casing has crazing and the case has minor markings showing its age. This is a neat clock that has been in my collection for 10 years and which I have used from time to time. Clock and Alarm works. And is on a 24hr. wind. The top button is to set the alarm, and the front switch on the left turns on or off the alarm. Nice soft Tick Clock is in good shape except for the usual signs of age and use. Both dials are paper. And a little yellowed with age. Tried to show there is a small crack to the top back- may have been glued but you really cannot tell. Can be set on a table or there is a place on the back at the top where it can be hung on the wall.
