Here we have a beautiful clock. It appears to be made out of brass. Unfortunately we do not have the original key so we can fully test this clock. However we played with the movements and it appears to be working. Nothing is locked up but I am sure some adjustments will be needed. The face is porcelain also. This old Semca clock measures 6 inches tall. Is 7 ½ inches wide at the base, and is 2 inches in depth. This clock has a nice art deco appearance and is in working condition. The movement is a 15-jewel Swiss movement and has been running since acquired three days ago and keeps good time. The plating on the frame has worn in areas and will need to be addressed. I don’t know if this will need a good cleaning. Or perhaps to be re-plated, so I will leave that decision to the new owner. Made of solid brass and heavy.

Clock with glass cover measures 9.25" x 8.5" x 6.5" Glass is excellent. The case and face show light blemishes, wear, and need a light polishing. Movement looks very clean. The gold plating shows no abuse. The leveling bubble is clear but ... moredoes not center. The clock ran for about an hour and kept good time before it quit. Estate sale find! Beautiful antique Waterbury clock from the 1800's. Works! Has a key and it keeps perfect time. Chimes are lovely. Pendulum goes back and forth. It is 15 1/2" wide x 24 1/2" high x 4 1/2" deep. The gold decal is on the inside of the glass door. The door has a small working latch so the door can be secured. On the inside are instructions on how to care for the clock. It's in very good shape for its age. The last photo shows two pieces of wood on the top that are not included in its height and I have no idea why they are there. There is a partial label on the back. But most of it is gone and it provides no information about the age or model type of this clock. It weighs 11 pounds and will have to be packed carefully to insure that it reaches you in perfect condition. Questions gladly answered. Sold as ... moreis.
