To my surprise this lamp is adjustable in heigh t. The metal base unscrews to make this lamp go from 7" up to about 9 1/2" 12 1/2" with shade and bulb) This piece shows great patina throughout and is being left to next buyer as to how much cleaning is to be done. The wiring on this lamp is definitely older and may need to be redone. As you can see from one of the pictures it does(or at least did) work when I carefully and cautiously tested it! I cannot guarantee that it will continue to work without rewiring. That being said I am including pictures to show the plug and socket wires. Some fraying of the cloth cover is evident at both ends. I would rather err on the side of being cautious but the rest of the cord seems to be in fairly good shape. No tape jobs or cuts. The"HUBBELL" switch seems to turn nicely and has great on/ off clicks. The shade(which is non metallic) sort of snaps around the bulb. Pictures will show this mechanism on the inside of the shade. I am not sure of the age of this lamp. But I knew it was something different and unique when I saw and obtained it. Hopefully you will too and give it a good home. Antique Original Coca Cola Coca-cola Coke Oak Regulator Wind Up Clock Very Rare
You are bidding on a very rare piece of coca-cola history. These clocks were given to country stores in the late 1800's to early 1900's to advertise coke. I new they were rare because I have only seen about a half dozen in the last nearly 40 years and I tried to buy everyone I saw but after researching them a little on ebay I have came to the conclusion that they must be extremely rare because they have over 56.000+ items listed and none of these clocks. This particular clock I bought right out of a local home from the grandson of the original owner. It was running on the wall when we took it down. Usually these clocks are Ingraham's or Gilberts but the only way to actually tell is to take the face off and look at the works and they will probably be signed but I don't want to do this unless someone really wants to know. The ... moreclock is solid oak with it's original dark finish. The glass is all original,The paint is all original, some of the black paint on the top glass is missing, see photo but can easily be repainted if new owner desires. The gold on the bottom glass that says regulator is in great condition, bright, near perfect. The face is all original with the drink coca cola still visible but there are stains to the face which most clock people like me would much rather have the original face stained than a new one but it could be replaced but in my opinion would run the value of the clock. Most all American made wall regulators of this age have the back inside painted black which this one being no exception, see photos. This coke clock still has the original brass pendilum and key. DIMENSIONS: 34 inches in total height, total depth is 6 inches and 19 inches total width at the top of the clock on the moulding. Depth of the main part of the case 4 1/2 inches, width of the main part of the case 15 3/4 inches. The back of the works are impressed by the maker of the movement, Finnemore& Son, presumably the firm active in Birmingham around 1810-35. Original glazed-glass windows on either side of the works allow you to peer into the movement. The shaft has a tombstone door with a rounded lip-molding. Opening on original brass hinges to reveal the paint decorated iron pendulum and two weights. It has a lock, the key still available and functional(though bent) with the original brass escutcheon on the outside of the door. The corners of the shaft are embellished with reeded quarter-columns with turned caps, these both likely reduced along with the case. The clock rests over a plain molded base with a restrained scroll-cut apron and feet. This is a simply outstanding selection for anyone with a smaller space looking

Antique E.N. Welch Oak Mantle Clock C 1880 with key in excellent condition!
This is a Welch oak kitchen mantle clock from around 1880. The wood is in fabulous shape. The clock has been recently serviced, the main spring had to be replaced and the glass was missing so it is new. Everything else is original. The dial is a bit worn and dirty, but I do not restore dials. I had to adjust the door close mechanism, the original piece broke off, so I used the old piece and adapted it so it works great to keep the door closed. It looks just like the old one. The pattern on the glass is a bit long for the door. It fits correctly over the face of the clock, but it is too long for the door of the clock, the pattern disappears into the door frame. The original key is there and the clock runs and chimes on the half hour. You can adjust the run time faster or slower from the pendulum. It's a really great looking clock as well ... moreas a nice working one. And it's a nice old piece to add to your collection or to add some atmosphere to your home. The Clock measures 17 1/2" by 24 1/2" tall, by 4" deep. Tjhe Face is quite dirty, and will need to be cleaned or replaced. The Lower Door Hinge Needs tightening. I left it as-is, since I'm not a clock expert.

For sale. A very old Arts& Crafts Mission Oak or Maple wall clock. This is a working clock that has a strong"GONG" at every 1/2 hour. Also has full count"GONG" for any hour. I tested by tying a string to pendulum and movement and and got a report without fail. This clock has been professionally refinished with only the pine back door left untouched. I think the original owners slightly modified the bottom wood furniture as it is quite different from others I've seen on Ebay. Actually, this modification really gives this clock character. There are no scratches, dents or bumps to the wood. You will notice that the wood grain is all uniform and is a seamless match. Clock still has strong winding mechanism for setting both gong and time. Still with all original nuts, bolts and they are with heavy black patina. Pendulum ... moremovement moves and swings freely. Pendulum size is 4.5 inches in diameter. Back of pendulum is cast iron and stamped"S. CLK. CO. No.31" This old timer has an wood face that measures 13" by 13" inches. Formed March 5. 1857, as a joint stock corporation, the Waterbury Clock Company from its inception was an operation designed to be a major user of brass produced by the parent firm, the Benedict& Burnham Manufacturing Company. The wood is lovely and in good condition. The works are original and the clock chimes on the half and full hours, for 8 days. This clock has been lovingly cared for and my husband has a dear old friend who restores and cares for clocks.therefore.it shall come to you with a new cleaning.BUT THAT IS ALL IT NEEDS. The key of course will come as well. Age.guesstimate is early 20th century. The clock measures 13" high. 9" wide and 5" deep. The bezel and glass are all intact and of course, original. Gilbert Capitol# 45 pendulum kitchen clock. Clock is 13 inches wide and 23 inches tall Appears to be an oak case with deep carving in very good restorable condition. The label on the back is in exceptional shape. Pendulum has a photograph of a lady on it. Did not try and clean it up. Key included. Clock is would tight. Did not level it. But started it and it ran for a couple of minutes, so I believe that it would run with a cleaning and oiling No international shipping This is a very nice clock for someone who would like to get started in clock restoration or collecting. Antique 1880's Oak Waterbury Clock Co. Wall Regulator'Pointed Drop' School House Clock. This antique Waterbury school house clock has been in our home for almost 20 years. It is in great working condition. Keeps very good time. The finish on the oak case in original and in very nice condition. Brass bezel. Painted tin dial in very good condition, numbers are quite clear, great antique patina. Comes with original pendulum. Replacement multi wind key. Clock Measurements: H 24.5" x 16.5" x 6" Condition: Overall very good for age. The inside frame of the door shows signs of wear. The hinges on the door are a bit loose and need tightening/ adjusting. Up for auction is a Wonderful Antique Oak Ingraham Gingerbread Mantel/Shelf Clock With an Alarm. Circa 1890-1910. The clock's dimensions are approximately; H- 21" W- 16" D- 5.5" The Case: The oak case is in good physical condition. There are no broken or chipped parts. The case retains its original finish and has a great patina with some"alligatoring" A lot of times you see these type of clocks refinished. I believe to keep them in therir original condition. A clock that is 100-120 years old should have a certain amount of"alligatoring" and"patina" to it. There is a label on the back. Its difficult to read, but says"Vesta" model. Blue Delft case is in excellent physical condition. The Dial/Face: The paper on the face has some worn areas. Please see photos. The Door: The door/glass ... moreare original and in fine working order. The glass is old and has a nice"wave" to it. The Mechanism: The spring driven 8 day Ingraham time and strike mechanism is in working order. The clock strikes on the 1/2 hour and hour. The alarm is functional as well. The alarm is very loud and there is no"on or off" switch. The Pendulum appears to be original. It is used for American Gingerbread/kitchen and parlor clocks from this era. His wife said that the mark is very old but she couldn't remember the name of the company. Maybe the ebay clock collectors can shine a light. Clock keeps near perfect time,a pleasant gong chime and a med tick tock. Really neat as it measures 20" x 14" x 4" deep. Just lubricated. From my personal collection I'm selling this very unusual estate find: an oak case tall wall or floor model. Stromberg Electric Company Master clock. Very rare. I've only seen a handful of these over the years and this one WORKS! Oak case is in good overall condition. With some slight alligatoring of the old varnish coating, but NO chips at all! Both the round and the rectangular pieces of glass in the door are beveled and in perfect condition(just need a thorough cleaning) Original pendulum and inner workings- ... moregears and such. I had a professional restore the clock with a new(repro) self-winding mechanism. So now it'll work on batteries(but with a period loop) and doesn't have to be hardwired if you don't want to. Self-winder clicks every minute to wind the spring. This is the Master clock. That would have been originally hardwired into the building and controlled the time on Slave clocks in other rooms, Such as in factories. Schools and offices. Again: perfect working order! I finally found a reference to it on AntiqueWaterburyClocks.com. Called“The Music Men” this antique. Circa ... more1920, figural carved oak wall clock was a limited edition clock and there were very few produced. I could not find another example that has sold. Depicting three musicians, one playing a horn, one playing a guitar and the other singing, this carved oak clock has an Arts& Crafts/Mission Style with applied brass numerals and hands on the oak clock-face. After comparing our clock to the other example we found in collections we know that the weights& pendulum are later replacements, and so are the fancy brass hands. This clock would have originally had plain brass hands and a set of Waterbury's twisted weights. There are no other problems or restorations to this clock and it is in working condition. This is an 8-day weight driven clock and as you can see in our photographs. The works are complete and original. Beautiful Antique Chiming Oak Smiths Mantle Wall Clock P303143
Clock face 3" and whole front including wood is 6" It can stand on a desk or be hung from a wall- there's a hanger in the back. It looks very nice and old. I've wound it and it ticks but if tipped it slows so I can't guarantee how accurate it is. There is a very old split in the block that it's attached to but it's still solid. It looks like it split a long time ago.

1890's~SETH THOMAS~ANTIQUE GINGERBREAD OAK MANTLE CLOCK w/CHIMES, KEY & PENDULUM
This auction is for an antique Gingerbread style oak mantel clock. I believe from the 1890's, marked on the face: SETH THOMAS- MANUFACTURED IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA- marked on the interior label: MANUFACTURED BY THE SETH THOMAS CLOCK CO. THOMASTON, CONN. Please see pictures for the label on the back. This classic old clock is still in very good condition overall in my opinion. The clock spring will wind up fine and it will run for 3 to 4 hours before stopping and then a little nudge on the pendulum will start it back up. The chimes will sound when the arms are manually moved around but they do not chime when the clock is running on its own. The chime spring is wound tight and seems stuck. I am fairly certain this clock only needs a little Clean, Lube and Adjustment for full function. There is a little splinter missing on the oak ... moreveneer on the lower right wing and otherwise the clock cabinet is also in very good condition. The label on the back is a little chipped in the middle area and some little pieces seem glued back on. This rare old clock measures 22 1/2" tall, 15" wide and it weighs approx. 6 lbs. 14 oz. with the key and pendulum. No rules. Simply pay and I mail promptly. C. 1820 Face inscribed"James Alexander. Turiff" Falseplate stamped Finnemore& Sons; case height reduced Item# 130102PWP01 This Scottish George III Tall Case Grandfather Clock was crafted during the first years of the 19th Century and reduced during the 20th Century to give it a more desirable height for smaller homes. Entirely crafted of a golden continental oak for the primary surfaces. Both in solid and veneers, it has a caramelized warmth to the finish with a fine preserved patination beneath the later shellac. Featuring a broken-arch pediment with an incredible stamped brass rosette. The hood is raised on reeded columns with brass mounts flanking a tombstone ... moreglazed-glass door over the painted dial. The door is crafted with through-tenon joinery of the secondary surfaces, covered with the thick golden oak veneers. The arch is painted with a stuffed Cornucopia, each spandrel likewise embellished with gilt highlights around Roman Numeral hour ring with Arabic Numerals bordering this in fifteen-minute intervals. The center is inscribed"James Alexander Turiff" probably the retailer of this clock in Scotland. The back of the works are impressed by the maker of the movement, Finnemore& Son, presumably the firm active in Birmingham around 1810-35. Original glazed-glass windows on either side of the works allow you to peer into the movement. The shaft has a tombstone door with a rounded lip-molding. Opening on original brass hinges to reveal the paint decorated iron pendulum and two weights. It has a lock, the key still available and functional(though bent) with the original brass escutcheon on the outside of the door. The corners of the shaft are embellished with reeded quarter-columns with turned caps, these both likely reduced along with the case. There are two keys that came with the clock that go with it now. The clock we believe has an Alarm. Is an 8 day, and is all original in its finish and equitment. The clock stands 24" tall by 4 3/4" front to back, and 15 1/2" wide. The door has the etched gold motif and is also in excellent condition. The face is marked with the Seth Thomas mark on the bottom. It came out of an estate right off the wall. I turned the two key holes slightly and hung the pendulum and it works. I did some research and found that they made these in 8 day and 8 day chime. I don't know how it works to test all of the features but it does click the pendulum back and forth and all appears to be original. Good condition untouched. Antique GILBERT Oak Mantle Clock, Army Model 39 w/ Pendulum & Chime, WORKS!!
From an older estate in Winsted. CT ~ A Turn-of-Century William L. Gilbert Co. mantle clock! It's an ARMY model#39. Cased in oak. It measures 20" high x 10-1/2" wide x 4-3/4" deep. The dial. With framing, measures 6-3/8" in diameter. The dial is composed of heavy paper; it shows tiny bubblings and a bit of peeling to the upper area. The glass door is reverse painted. Eglomize-style. The clock is totally unwound; we only cranked it up with the key enough to determine that it runs well. The chime strikes on the half-hour as well as the hour. Sorry. But we're NOT interested in trying to send this cross-country: LOCAL PICKUP ONLY in WINSTED. CT. I will be glad to pack it in a box and meet halfway with the winning bidder in our geographical area. 1780 ANTIQUE MAHOGANY AND OAK BRASS FACE GRANDFATHER CLOCK MADE IN ENGLAND.
This is a superb brass face 8 day grandfather clock made in England circa 1780. This has a mixture of woods some part mahogany and some oak. With the original finish. The face is solid brass we have the two weights and the original pendulum. Its in perfect working order but some times when they travel it can disturb the movement so I will sell it not working. To the top it has the 3 brass finials which are also original. The center door has a satinwood shell marquetry inlay. Measurements are 96 tall 22 wide. 10 deep.

Gilbert Clock Company was formed at Winsted, Conn. to succeed the Gilbert Manufacturing Company(1866-1871) which had been dissolved after a fire destroyed the factory. These firms had grown out of the clock making operations of William L. Gilbert(1806-890) who, since 1828, had been involved in various clock making partnerships in Bristol, Farmington and Winsted, Connecticut. In July of 1873. The new factory complex was completed and manufacturing commenced. George B. Owen(1834-1916) had come to Winsted in 1866 as General Manager and ran the firm for nearly 50 years, designing many interesting cases and patenting several clock movement features. Owen also operated a concurrent clock business at Winsted between 1875 and 1894. In 1897. The Gilbert firm built a four-story building for a new case shop and another building by 1900 for storage and shipping. A three-story office building was built in 1902. Antique c 1900 Fancy Ansonia Pressed Oak Mantle Chime Clock w/ Stenciling-Works!
A lovely clock in working condition. I wound the clock after bringing it home. But not anywhere near fully. I let it run for about six hours, and it strikes on the half hour as it should. After six hours, it was very gradually gaining time and was about five minutes fast when I stopped it. Don't know if that was because I only wound it a little, but I'm sure it could stand a cleaning(tune-up) I'm not a clock expert by any stretch, but found this piece to be very pretty with the ornate stenciled glass. Love the quaint tick-tock, and the rich gonging chime. It is missing some sort of oak decorative element on the very top, but it looks very nice as is(it is more manly now! Antique New Haven Oak Pressed Back Kitchen Shelf Mantle Clock
Up for auction is an antique New Haven oak pressed back kitchen style shelf or mantle clock from the early 1900's. The movement is marked with the New Haven trademark. The clock is 23 in. high. 14 in. wide and 4 1/2 in. deep. It runs and keeps good time. The clock gongs on the hour and the half hour. There is a newer replacement key included. But I got it working and it ticks for an hour or more. Because of that, I’m sure it just needs cleaned. A friend of mine cleans her own and she said that’s what it usually is if it at least ticks for a while. It’s a beautiful oak clock, very nice case. I do not see any flaws other than a small ding in the metal part of the pendulum. The strip of wood the pendulum hangs on is old for sure, but is darker in color than the oak. The numbers are metal. I tried close-up pics of the works. I see where it is stamped 1910 and also Wm Gilbert Co. Winstead, Conn. It also has a stamped G in a triangle. 16” wide and 28” tall.
