Ansonia Clock Co. Figure clock, Don Juan" ca 1894. This complete. Original, Victorian Era figural clock features a cast metal figure of the infamous libertine, with the clock mounted in the tower beside, and both mounted to a heavy black enameled cast iron base. Original Sword in good condition(a rarity! The case is 22 inches high. 20 inches wide. Back door and pendulum are correct. 8 day movement strikes once on the half hour, and once for each hour on the hour. The two piece porcelain dial with open escapement, beveled glass, French sash, are all in very good condition. There is a small hairline crack at the 12, with minor porcelain loss at the"fast/ slow" adjustment at very top of dial. The base does show some loss of original paint. And the geometric pattern in the iron base originally had gold accent paint, now absent. ... moreThis clock is in the Ly-Ansonia book as No.466. The clock mechanism is in excellent working condition. This beautiful German Ansonia porcelain mantel clock is in excellent but needs a cleaning. Named"La Drome" circa 1900. I don't have the key or pendelum so I am unsure if it works or can be fixed. It is beautiful. Almost perfect, except for a small hairline crack on the right side base(above the foot) Another crack is on the back of the clock. It has been repaired. The markings on back read: Royal Bonn. 1755, La Drome Inside parts read: Ansonia Clock Company New York USA The clock face is in perfect condition. The glass door opens as it should. Clock measures approximately 12" tall by 16" wide and 6" deep weighs 12 lbs. It is mainly green in color but has touches of pink. Purple and blue.

This auction is for a vintage. Possibly antique, small Ansonia clock. It has wear from age and use, including a crack to the side. I was unable to wind the clock and make it work.
