I am not an expert on pottery. But I think I have a real find here. I found a website talking about a pitcher that brought a lot of attention at an auction because it was the only known pitcher from the Webb Company in Ohio, which was a short-lived pottery in Ohio. Well. This set says Ohio WEBBS on the bottom and the number 112, and is a VERY super looking set. Aside from some normal crazing and one chip on the chamber pot lid, it is SUPER. Comes with wash basin, pitcher, slop pot with lid, chamber pot lid. Just an absolutely incredible set! Beautiful floral decoration. And apparently from a very rare pottery. Here is the low-down on any damage. All items are finely crazed. The lid of the chamber pot has single large chip in the rim as seen in the photos. The slop pot insert has 3 very thin hairline cracks. The bottom of the pitcher has a ... morecircular thin hairline crack. The bowl and chamber pot do not have any damage at all. Nice old mold Harker Pottery 1890's chamber pot. Nice white semi porcelain with accents(some missing) in gold. Bottom has mark along side the slight crack and crazing. Pretty Pottery Chamber Pot
Here is a lovely pottery chamber with a colorful pattern. In addition the pot itself is a relatively unusual casting with steep bottom slope and a patterned casting. The pot is unmarked but the construction and decoration puts it at around 1900. Perhaps earlier. There is some staining and crazing but the pot is in good condition for one that is roughly 100 years old. Because the shipping is so expensive for overseas. I will only list shipping for the US. CHAMBER POT THUNDER MUG ANTIQUE IRONSTONE HOTEL ENGLAND POTTERY
Hopefully someone will recognize the name on the bottom and can identify where this antique chamber pot came from. English- backstamp on the bottom reads. Francis Sparks of the West, 144 Oxford Street, London W. Excellent condition and believed to be ironstone although it does not indicate this on the bottom. Large at 9" in diameter at the top and 5 1/4" tall. Excellent condition with a half dime size rough and discolored spot on the inside near where the handle meets the base. And a very tiny, very old nick in the rim. Trimmed in shiny gold glaze with very slight wear. Trimmed more with gold on the handle and one circle around the body of the base.

It is white in color with gold line details. A lot of it showing wear. The pot itself measures 5" tall and about 9" in diameter. There are some natural imperfections inside, a few of which are ... morelightly discolored. There are no chips or cracks that I can see but there is some light crazing. The lid is almost as heavy as the pot. It has light crazing all over as well, with wear of the gold that once was on the edge and the handle. The handle has a nice design. There is a 1" narrow chip on the inside center part of the rim of the lid, and one spot about the same that has not chipped off but it has the cracks present on 3 sides, I would say. It still seems intact, and both are unseen when the lid is on. Those issues do not affect it in any way, as the rest of the lid is fine. The bottom does have a blue mark that I haven't been able to identify, as it is blurry. Overall this is a great estate auction piece with lots of character! It would be great displayed and used for storage in the bathroom for anything from makeup to washcloths to hiding your hairbrush and hair accessories. It would also be a great display in your guest room full of grandma's heirlooms, as that could have been where a chamber pot was kept in the days when used. Pottery Stoneware Chamber Pot Slop Bucket Metal Bale Wooden Handle
This is a vintage pottery or stoneware chamber pot or more accurately slop bucket. It measures. Not including the handle, 9" tall by about 9 1/4" in diameter across the top. This is made of a heavy pottery substance and the unglazed bottom rim looks like a crockery material. It has an overall pattern molded into the body of the bucket but there are the customary flaws as was common in common everyday pieces. There are a couple of stress lines that seem to affect the glaze only on the outside in photo two you can see the worst one. There is also one in the outside bottom and a small one inside. These lines DO NOT CARRY THROUGH to the opposing side of the pottery piece. There are also excess clumps of clay in the design that have been glazed over and small bubbles that have popped in the glaze during the firing process. Please zoom ... morein and look at all the photos closely. It also has some major chips around one handle on the outside"ear" that holds the wire in place, see photo 5. The wire handle is still intact and functioning so it really hasn't created a major problem. The handle is wooden and has been painted black and has lots of wear to the paint from everyday use. The outside rim of the pot also has some of the glaze rubbed off from the wire rubbing against it. It has no other chips, cracks, crazing or stains. Pottery Stoneware Porcelain Chamber Pot with Lid Marked Virginia
This is a vintage pottery. Porcelain or stoneware chamber pot with lid. It measures, not including the lid, 5 1/2" tall by about 8 1/4" in diameter across the top and 10" overall at the longest point including the handle. This is made of a heavy pottery substance and the unglazed bottom rim is white like porcelain material. It has an overall pattern molded around the lower part of the pot of a sort of interlocking scallop. The lid has acanthus leaves around the rim edge and the same interlocking scallop design as the lower part of the pot. The handle is molded to look and feel almost like a bent stick or tree limb. There are some small bubbles that have popped in the glaze during the firing process, see photo 7. There are also visible stilt marks on the inside of the chamber pot from the stilts used in the kiln to keep it off ... morethe bottom of the kiln. There is overall tight crazing. There is one deep cut near the rim. This does not go through to the inside, see photo 6 and a drop of white paint to the upper left of that in the same photo. There is a black touch mark under the clear glaze on the outside of the pot where someone had a smudge on a finger touched it and then put it in the kiln. It is inside the outer handle. It is signed in sepia colored paint"Virginia" on the underside bottom. I date this from the early 1800's to 1899 because of the mark being signed only"VIRGINIA" and could possibly date to the civil war period. Please zoom in and look at all the photos closely. The underside of the lid rim has an excess piece of clay that is glazed over and fired on. See photos 9& 10. Offered for a sale is an antique chamber pot in very good condition. It was manufactured by Utah Pottery and was probably made between 1850 and 1899. It is white and has raised detail around the top and on the handle. Then it has delicate blue flowers on the front and the back which are very charming and different that the usual white pot. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It does have some hair line cracks on the inside bottom. It weighs about 3 1/2 lbs. The diameter around the top is approximately 8" and it is approximately 5 1/2" tall. Great for the collector! I have used it in a guest bathroom with towels. I could find no damge. See image for manufactures marks. Approx. 8.75" diameter and 11" to the handle and 5.25" high. Age is somewhere between 1874 to 1896. Brownhills. Between Longport& Tunstall. Brownhills: The packhorse lanes through Brownhills: One of the main pack-horse roads, which left Hanley by Woodisun(Marsh Street) Brook Street(off Marsh Street North) connected with the lane from Newcastle and wound through Cobridge and the lower end of Hot Lane, Burslem, where it branched; one route going approximately via the present Nile Street, Burslem, and the other, a narrow lane behind, and to the west of what is now Waterloo Road, but which was then a portion of the adjacent fields. Passing Cross Hill and in front of the church yard, it ran by Bournes Bank, a steep incline, to Swan Square. From here the road probably traversed ... morethe slope by way of St. John's Square, or through the Market Square, on to Hill Top. From thence it went down the narrow steep passage of the Back Sytch, past the Sytch Water Mill on the Brownhills Hall estate and past the hall, where it would join the road from Newcastle and Longport, into Tunstall and the north. From Burslem, the Mother Town of the Potteries, an important pack-horse road ran from the Market Square, as already mentioned, via Pack-Horse Lane, winding by St. Paul's Church, Dalehall, via Trubshaw Cross, fording the stream at Longbridge(Longport) by the present road past a group of houses called Longbridge Hayes. From thence it went round the Bradwell side of what is now Longport Station and up the hill, now traversed by the road(made about 1875) and so on to Wolstanton and Newcastle. The chamber pot itself is 9 inches wide at the mouth. The base is 6 1/2 inches wide. The bowl is 5 1/4 inches deep. The lid is 9 1/2 inches wide. From the top of the lid to the bottom of the chamber pot the height is 8 1/2 inches tall. The pattern for this pot is called Queens. I think it refers to the shape of the pot. The pot features a beautiful maroon. Or deep red, transfer on it. This type of artwork on dishes or pottery is called transferware. There is one small stain in the pot. This pot has no chip. VINTAGE CHAMBER POT & LID BROWNFIELD & SONS POTTERY
From Brownfield& Sons. London in the Yesso pattern transferware. Impressed on the lid and inside the pot with diamond lozenge and other markings.See photos or ask questions. The pot is 5-1/8" high, 9-1/2" at its widest, 8-3/4" wide at the rim. Lid is 8-3/4" wide, 1-3/4" high plus the knob. The entire item measures 7-3/4" high at the knob with the lid on. There is crazing in the glaze and normal scuff marks. The main flaw is a chip on the lid, see the last photo. It measures 1/2" by 1/4" The pot weighs six pounds. Will be packed in a styrofoam lined box with additional bubble wrap.

Pattern marked Chrysanthemum. Could be used for a beautiful planter or unique waste basket. Measurements 10.5“ high. 11 inches wide at lid. Pot in in good vintage condition. Measurements 9 1/4“ high, 10 inches wide opening, 11 inches wide from handle to handle. The pot has 3 cracks on rim; 2 are only about 1 inch and the third is about 3 inches; there is a spot on the outside that looks like a manufacturer defect. Heavy Stoneware. Stamped"UTAH" on the bottom. It weighs 3-1/2 pounds. It is 10-1/2" wide, 5-1/2" tall, and the rim is 8-1/2" in diameter. Excellent condition. No chips. No cracks, no crazing, no loss of gold trim, no fading, no stains. Interior is white& shiny.
