The carvings and details on this piece are absolutely fabulous! We can confidently attribute this outstanding Etagere to George W. Ware and Company. Boston, Massachusettes. The top of this wonderful Etagere is graced with a magnificent pierced carved crown adorned with massive fruits and nuts. Carved scrolls, a grape cluster, along with leaf and foliate carvings and pierced scrolled work. This glorious crown sits upon the substantial arc-shaped bonnet top which provides the perfect introduction to the large oval mirror. This large oval mirror is encased in beautiful picture-frame moulding and appears to be original. Dating from ... morethe 1870s to 1880s this is in great original finish dresser. It has burl raised panel picture frame panel molded drawers on the two large and four small drawers. It has dainty brass handle hardware which I am not sure are original. The keyhole escutcheon are the big round medallions. The candle shelves have heavy incise carved burl front shelf supports, burl walnut trim going up the mirror and the big crest on top with a doorbell looking medallion on the top. The mirror is bevel glass, which is normally straight glass. The drawers are all hand cut dove tail. The overall size is 48 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 90 inches high overall.

Seth Thomas Eclipse Walnut Victorian Mantle Clock W/Alarm - Outstanding!!
This came from the same country estate as the other mantle clocks that I have listed. It was working in the kitchen and it has been working well at my house for the past week. The chimes sound nicely but i do not know how to set the alarrm which is all there. It also has the original instruction label inside. Both the fancy glass front and all the nicely designed wood are in exceptional condition. I have never had a nicer original clock than this in the past 40 years that I have been doing this. It is about 24 in. from top to bottom and 15 in. wide at the bottom. The pendulum is also one of the best that I have seen. If you want a nice clock. This is it.

Up for Sale we have: Victorian Walnut Clock by Bridgeport Brass Company– Early 1900’s. Bridgeport Brass Company- Bridgeport. Connecticut- Founded November 2. 1865. Measurements: 23 ¼” Tall with Finial 13 ¾” Across at the base 4 13/16” Depth Weight: 6lbs 14oz Condition: A clock expert checked out the clock in the past and removed the face. Revealing it was made by Bridgeport Brass Company and there is a November 1 Patent stamped on the face of the clock. Nail slightly protruding through wood on Left Side(see pics) One of the side finials is missing the very tip of the end(one's longer that the other) Inside of Clock has marks where the pendulum swings. As far as I can tell the clock is in working condition. It winds, and the pendulum swings. Might need a little tune up? Payment: Payment is due within 7 days after the auction ... moreis completed. Antique New Haven Eastlake Victorian Walnut MANTLE CLOCK 1881 A handsome. Finely crafted antique walnut-case mantle clock from the New Haven Clock Company, patent date 1881. There is a paper label on the back of the clock body, but it's unreadable. Gold and pink painted decorations on the glass door represent abstract Eastlake patterns as well as a duck in a pond. The walnut case itself is richly carved and stained a deep red-brown. A very nice Victorian clock! Measures 20" tall. 12" across, and 4" deep. In good antique condition with no major damage; however. The piece does show some surface wear consistent with age and use.
