Has some patina spots on the top edge as seen in the photos. Overall condition is very nice with no cracks. No chips or scratches to the glass, no dents and works properly. Measures approx. 6 inches in diameter. Very cool vintage maritime item and is a must for any collector. Found at a recent 85 year estate of a long time Navy Officer who was also a General Dynamics/Convair engineer and was stored away for years. Will ship overseas and combine shipping on multiple wins. Glare spots are from the light reflection and not on the actual surface of the item.

Here's a Small Old Chelsea Brass Ship's Wheel Clock. Offered at NO RESERVE! The diameter of the back plate is approximately 3 and 7/8" and the clock is in Very Good Cosmetic Condition; the brass needs a good polishing and the face has what I would consider about average wear for the age. I think the pictures do a very representative job of illustrating the actual condition so examine them carefully and use the zoom feature. Unfortunately I cannot test the clock because, although I have numerous clock keys, none fit this clock. As you can see in picture 7 there is dust and dirt in and around the works so at the very least it will require a thorough servicing. Remember, there is No Reserve on this old Chelsea Clock. Smaller Seth Thomas electric clock. Probably from the 30's or so. Made in the USA. remember when we made things here? Nice old clock needs to be cleaned up. It is about 8 inches tall.There is no glass over the face. But I don't believe there ever was glass on it, but could be wrong. Its cord is broke and I am selling as is untested. On the underside of the clock, as you can see in the photo it has a white stamp CAPSTAN 2E which I presume is the model number. Has a few marks from normal use. Email if you have any questions.
