The Mercedes shelf clock has a tambour shape oak wood case with bun feet, and a brass movement. Both the case and movement are in great condition, it is just missing the hand adjustment key. It has'Made in Germany' on the bottom of the dial, and'Germany' stamped on the movement cover. There is an incised'103' on the bottom, and a mark I can't make out. It measures 10-1/2" wide, 5-1/2" tall, and 2" deep. The Maytime boudoir alarm clock has a plastic case with hand enameled flowers, gold trim, and a Reuge Swiss musical movement. It works fine, and plays'Torna a Surriento' Return to Sorrento) made famous in the U.S.A. by the likes ... moreof Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley. The purple Linden clock is also marked Black Forest on the face. Face is 2" x 2 7/8" Time and alarm set knobs work and alarm will sound. Alarm winder is missing the key part. Time winder has just enough give to say it's not frozen. When handled, clock will run for a short time, so some life there. As to appearance, face is very nice, very light scratchiness to the plastic face cover but nothing distracting. Bezel has a couple worn spots to the finish to one ... moreside, minimal wear otherwise. Plastic case is good with one little darkish fleck near the back edge. A little flecky wear to the finish on the chimes but still very shiny and reflective, finish dulled on the handle and the ball that strikes the chimes. The Westclox is 5 1/4" tall and 1 5/8" across the face. Time and alarm set knobs work and alarm will go off. Winder feels OK but clock does not run. On appearance, face and plastic face cover are fine, bare minimum of finish wear on the bezel. Plastic case needs some cleaning/shining up in places, mainly top surfaces.
