This is a really pretty French Portico, Napoleon III, Regulating Pendulum Clock. Very nice working clock with lighter wood inlay. It measures 18 3/4" ... moreX 9 1/2" X 5". I believe it is from the late 1800's, but I am not a clock person. I am also not sure of the workings, but I put the pendulum on and gave it a nudge and it took off and ran for several minutes until I took it off. Seems to work fine. Comes with Key. This came from an estate of a high end clock and oil lamp collector. She only bought the best. She had a few Tiffany's and some carriage clocks which I purchased as well along with a few others. This Sèvres and gold-gilt bronze clock stands 22 inches high. 12 inches wide and 6 inches deep near its base. It has been on my mantel for about fifteen years and adds incredible beauty to my dining room. The clock uses a S. Marti et Cie. mechanism which dates between 1867 and 1889. The clock has been checked and lightly cleaned by a professional clock maker and is in excellent and accurate working condition. MECHANISM- The clock has an 8-day bell-striking movement which is stamped“ S. Marti et Cie” in the center with“ Medaille de Bronze” in a circle around it. Samuel Marti was awarded ... morethe Bronze Medal in 1860. The mechanism and the pendulum have the same serioal number. Samuel Marti et Cie was a well known clock maker in Paris in the mid eighteenth century. The Medaille de Bronze stamp was used during the period 1867– 1889. Clock has its original pendulum and key. ANTIQUE CLOCK: Rococo Rival. Git Bronze, late 1800's, Movement Working Perfectly This is a wonderful Antique Clock in the Rococo Revival Style. It is made of gilt bronze. And dates most likely to the late 1800's. It stands 13 3/4 inches tall, and keeps perfect time with a movement which I believe is later than the case itself. Rococo Revival was a 19th-century style characterized by curved silhouettes and ornate carving. It began as a"Modern French" style in England in the 1820s. Drawing on baroque elements of Louis XVI and Louis XV furniture, and developed in France in the 1830s under Louis Phillipe. The style was popularized at the 1851 Crystal Palace Exhibition in London, and at expositions in New York in 1853, and Paris in 1855. Our Clock is topped by and urn flanked by flower garlands which rests on an arch supported ... moreby two charming caryatids. Bound to preside a smart living room, comes from Germany and was manufactured in the late 19th century. In spite of being quite old(more than one hundred years) the clock is in great condition. Its movement is signed with the logo of the prestigious brand Kienzle, and has been fully revised and adjusted so the clock works like the first day, chiming the hours and the halves. The box’s design corresponds to the neoclassic aesthetic that prevailed in those times, with a nice combination of wood veneers that turn this clock into a really attractive article. The clock’s movement bears the Kienzle logo. A winged wheel, engraved in the metal. Kienzle is one of Germany’s oldest watchmakers; it was founded in Schwenningen ... morein 1822 by the Schlenker family, though it was later renamed as Schlenker& Kienzle when in 1883 Jakob Kienzle married into the family, contributing to the expansion of the company to a great extent. Waterbury 30 Hour Cottage Clock with Pendulum and Key - Late 1800's
Available for purchase. We have an Antique Waterbury Cottage Clock made by the Waterbury Clock Co. in Waterbury, CT. This clock is from the late 1800's. It is a 30 hour, time only. There is no chime. The clock works on and off. It ran 3 hours, then stopped, ran 20 min, then stopped.etc. It probably needs cleaning and oiling. It appears to be all original except for the key. The key is not marked so we don't know if that is the original key. The wood case has a nice lable on the inside and a partial on the back. There is a spot on the left hand side of the door that has a piece of veneer missing. There are scratches and varnish loss in spots due to age. The dial looks to be painted zinc with the Waterbury Trade Mark in the center of the dial and has lots of crazing to the paint with some paint loss. The glass has no cracks or chips ... moreand has a decal rather than a reverse painting as many Waterbury Clocks do. The clock stands 12" tall, 8-1/2" 8-1 across the front and is 3-3/4" deep. Signed inside on verso of enamel panel but I would have to take apart the clock to see the maker's name which is only partially visible in a florid script(having very little knowledge of clocks I have not attempted this) This clock appears to be in good working order and in very good condition save for a very small chip in the rear crystal panel upper right corner. The front crystal occasionally pops out and needs to be snapped in again. The key looks like a later English replacement as the clock is French. You will get the clock that is pictured. I don't know alot about it, but it is working, seems to be in excellent condition, and is very very old. I listed this one just like one that I saw sell for around $200, and I'm not sure that one even worked! The pendulum swings like it is supposed to, it has the key to wind it up, the alarm went off while I was messing with it, or it may have been that it was on midnight and chiming, not sure. It also chimes every so often and makes a few different sounds, like a clock like this should, it is awesome! And again, it seems to work perfect! The casing is wooden, I believe it is rosewood, has beautiful carvings on it, the glass on the front has good looking etchings. The clock has lots of markings on the back, see pics. I did not clean it cause I didn't want to mess with the originality, this ... moreis a very very old clock, an I can't believe that it actually works! The clock stands 22" tall and is 15" wide. You may have to wind the clock again to get it started. To do this, you simply use the key, and turn the screws on the clock face. They both turn in towards each other. And I turned the bottom gold key to see what it did, not sure what that does. But in sure if your a clock collector, you should know how to work this one. I will ship this in a box wrapped in bubble wrap. And shipped with peanuts, either by Parcel post or Priority mail, whichever is the most reasonable, but either way, it should arrive safely. I also can't take returns on this item unless I listing it wrong in some way. So it is as is, all I know and guarantee is that it works, cause I don't know much about these type clocks. Beautiful Antique Late 1800's Ingraham "Lexington" Sounding Mantle Clock
I was fortunate enough to acquired this beautiful clock at a recent estate sale. This is a well crafted and solid clock. I highlighted the defects that were visible in the"item condition" Here's what I found out and know concerning the mechanics. The key is not original but winds the clock fine at the"4" The key does not fit the other two. Which I don't know what these slots do anyways. The clock makes a beautiful"cathedral" sound once at the half hour. And sounds the time at each hour. The clock runs fine and seems to keep pretty good time; however. It is touchy and the pendulum will stop if the clock is not balanced properly. The Body of the clock is painted wood. The trim is either brass or bronze and the marbled pillars seems to be faux wood. The clock weighs 10 pounds and measures approximately 11" ... morehigh by 16" wide. I am not very knowledgeable of this clock. Did not and do not know how to service it. I highly recommended taking this piece to a professional for cleaning, servicing, to become familiar with its working, to obtain a proper key and so that it will perform optimally. Thanks. Have not been able to find out much about it. Paper label behind clock face seems to date pre 1900, I see the brand is sought after, Seth Thomas clock company. I found a few images that looks kinda like it but not been able to confirm what it is. If you know more about it and interested in parts etc. message me, It's not in the best of shape but believed to be all there. Resto project looks neat as is. I've been asked about it a lot, time to let go and let someone else find out more about it/ fix it up. Has lose wood as pictured. Made in Germany. Face marked Kuehl clock co. Chicago. Clock and alarm both are working. Copper is beautiful as is. I have not attempted to clean in any way. Glass face has no scratching. This is a great piece for collectors of alarm clocks. Alarm on top is quite loud and unique as it is shaped like a horn.

Beautiful old steeple clock by Waterbury. And updated with batteries. It has a wonderful antique scene in the front, painted on glass. I have NOT tested this. So not sure if it works. As is, it would make a wonderful wall piece, just for show, but if you're handy, maybe you can get it to work(maybe all it needs are new batteries!

Tall case clock in solid mahogany with arched brass and silvered dial. Separate chapter ring, rococco ormulu spandrels and 8-day hour bell striking movement. The case is in very good original condition. And the movement is recently serviced and fully operational. Case features an broken swan neck pediment. Arch-top door, fluted columns with ormolu Corinthian capitals and bases framing the clock face. And oval cut-outs to the sides of the top case to enhance audibility of hour strikes. The clock ... moreworks were crafted by Hay Hamilton of Glasgow, Scotland. As inscribed in the medallion surmounting the clock face. This inscription likely denotes John Hamilton who operated in Gallowgate. Glasgow from 1750-1783(Museum Victoria website) This medallion is framed at the corners by ormolu dolphins and arabesques. The hours are delineated in Roman numerals. The minutes are in Arabic numerals. There is a separate face for the seconds just below the 12 o’clock position. The central area of the clock face is flanked at each corner by the head of a cherub wearing an elaborate crown on a triangular field of ornamental ormolu. The dial interior is engraved with curving frond motifs and plated in ormolu. An opening at the bottom displays the year. The hour and minute hands are very finely wrought of iron fretwork. The body of the case displays quarter fluted columns at the corners running the height of the center section. The door to the pendulum and weights is keyed. Today I have up for sale a late 1800's beautiful Eastlake Victorian spoon carved CLOCK SHELF. Made of 2 different woods. Oak and Walnut. The shelf part has been replaced with an oak wood and is a lighter wood than the original walnut back and sides. It has been refinished. Has 2 holes for mounting on the wall. The shelf measures 17 1/4" long. By 6 3/4" wide, 1/4" thick. The back measures 16 3/4" long. 7 3/4" high, by 1/4" thick. Very structurally sound. Crystal Regulator Pendulum Mantel Clock, Late 19th / Early 20th Century
For auction is a crystal regulator clock. With a porcelain painted face, an exposed jeweled(sapphire) escapement, and the original removable steel-weighted pendulum. It comes with two keys for winding. The decorative case is gilded metal. We are not certain that it is actual bronze. Not being metallurgists or clockmakers. The box in which the clock is placed is framed in brass, with beveled glass panels, which open in the front and in the back. Note that the case does not have a finial on the top, but is finished with a smooth slope. The porcelain face consists of an outer dial with painted Arabic numerals. And a recessed center which holds the escapement and hands. Also note that the holes for winding the clock are not on the number dial between the 4& 5 and 7& 8 as is typical for many of these clocks but is on the center circle. ... moreThis seems to be an unusual arrangement in the clocks that I’ve looked at. Dimensions: 14.5 inches tall, 7 inches wide, and 6 inches deep. It is very similar to clocks by other manufacturers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries; however. We tested the clock and the chimes and it chimes the number of the hour and runs fine. It has a solid rosewood case, an etched ornate glass door. The face has yellowed with age and the brass trim has some oxidation. It measures approx. 20 3/4" high and 14 3/4" wide. This is a drop dead gorgeous clock. We found the following history on the clockguy site on the internet(GREAT SITE! E. Ingraham& Company was formed in 1860. This time piece mounted in a marble stand is a"Sedan Clock" The timeframe for this was the last quarter of the 18th century through the first of the 19th until about 1830. It features a large Verge Fusee movement similar to a large watch of that time. From the style of movement and type of regulator it is known as a Bosley. Its inventor. The elegant engraving"Jas Roberts, London" refers to it's maker, James Roberts. However several watch/clock makers of that name appear in Loomes and Baillie. Sometimes these are used for mantels and are referred to as"Cottage Clocks" This seems to be the case here.The marble lintel is cracked and glued and the watch is not running. The timepiece is 3" in diameter. The overall dimension of the frame is 11 x 7 9/16" The clock is loose in the cavity.
