Who bought them when she married in the 1930s. These were part of her master bedroom suite, though they are in really excellent condition, so they appear to be barely used. There is one small'smudge' on one of the curves of the footboard, do see the last photo. Perfect for a couple who want the'French' look in their bedroom. But also want plenty of sleeping room. When they are pushed together these beds make a larger than Super King size. 6 foot 7 inch wide bed! 6 foot 7 inches long! They have beautiful polished(I ... morebelieve walnut) frames. The rope might be coming apart a little at the seam. See photo#7(really no big deal) each measures: 42" wide x 78" long. And the headboard is 43 3/4" tall at the tallest measure. Zeolite Oxygen Nitrogen filter beds pair PSA This listing is for two cylinders filled with zeolite that are used to separate oxygen and nitrogen from atmospheric air using the pressure swing absorption method. Compressed air is pushed through the beds in an alternating cycle. The compressed air enters the beds where the nitrogen is absorbed leaving pure oxygen to exit from the other end. The beds are then allowed to vent. Expelling the previously absorbed nitrogen. The picture shows one unit which we dissassemled to show the internal construction, the buyer will received two assembled units. Each cylinder weighs 65 lbs, so two cylinders weigh 130 lbs. These units were removed from a military nitrogen/oxygen generator set and was built to the highest standards by Clifton Scientific. Pair of spectacular original wrought iron Victorian Euro-twin sized(the European twin size is narrower and longer than the US twin size and will need a European twin mattress and mattress frame) angel/cherub bed head and foot boards with side slats. These were purchased from an antique dealer in Florence. Italy, while I was living in London, and dates to around 1860-1880. The angels are original lithograph decals with some wear.
