Antique Vintage White HUGE Gold Trim Semi Vitreous Chamber Pot Water Cooking
Up for sale is an Antique White Ironstone HUGE Chamber Pot or Cooking Pot. I'm not quite sure what the general use of this was. It could have been used as a chamber pot purpose, cooking or even just to hold water. It is enormous, the largest of its kind I have ever seen. It also comes with the rare lid! It is approx. 12 in tall by 13 in wide with the handles. It is marked with a stamp and Semi Vitreous on the bottom. But I cannot make out the maker. It is in fair to good condition. Considering its age. There is a large crack with some webbing of the cracks on the inside bottom. There is also another 3.5 in crack on the one side. There is medium overall crazing present, and some slight marks here and there. Some of the gold stripes are worn. What a great example of an antique ironstone pot! This is in good condition with a large chip around the underside of the rim of the lid and a small crack on the lid as well. Huge crown semi-vitreous Warranted Chamber pot white W/ Pink flowers
This is a huge Chamber pot that is one of the things I need to find a home for from my Aunts house. It has been in her home as long as I can remember, it is a White with pink flowers, it has a lot of cracks and glued back pieces, I show them all in the pictures, the stamp on the bottom is in the picture, I really don't know the history of this pot. My Aunt is in her 80's and she said it was from the Edwardian Era, it measures 12 inches high by almost 15 inches wide across the front in the widest part. The circle opening is almost 8 inches. There is some raised embossing,and there is some gold touches on the rims and handles, and the base. There is some crazing on the bottom and on the inside. Like I said there is a lot of hair line cracks, glued handle, the base is great no cracks on the bottom, it will still hold a lot of water. ... moreIt is the biggest one we have right now. This listing is for a Victorian Chamber Pot ~ an especially attractive one with a delicate blue floral decoration. Embossed design and gold trim on both the base and the lid! The base decoration has some fading. The lid is brighter in color probably as the base was washed frequently and the lid was not! Also, the underside of the lid has some discoloration on one side that you can see in the picture. The base and lid measure 8 1/2" in diameter; 10 1/4" including the handle. It stands 8" tall. The china is in very good condition; no cracks. Chips, or repairs- there is some crazing on the surface and base as shown. This diaper pail or chamber pot is white with red trim. Its wooden handle is still bright! It has a few chips in the enamel- 2 on the outside of the lid. And two on the inside. There are several along the underside of the rim, or did the porcelain just adhere poorly? Two more chips on the exterior bottom. This was sitting in a furnace room for decades& it was covered with soot! It didn't wash out with bleach or trisodium phosphate, so it's got a dingy gray cast to it. Up for auction is a beautifully preserved early 1900s ceramic chamber pot with the Knowles. Taylor& Knowles maker mark on the base. This has been in our family for four generations, and we are now cleaning and downsizing some of our heirlooms. The base has a tri-scalloped pattern, and the handly of the lid is crown-shaped. There is a superficial crack that runs 3/4 of the length of the thick lid. But it doesn't go completely through the lid-it is a surface crackle only. There are no other chips, cracks or repairs on this heavy, clean and handsome pot. With the lid on it stands approximately 7 1/2 inches tall, and the diameter of the pot's rim is 8 inches. This is a beautiful old porcelain chamber pot found in Sweden. It is very unique and heavy with a beautiful blue flower design. The colors and shape of the handles are reminiscent of the Gustavian period in Sweden. It is unmarked. In excellent condition, would look beautiful in any part of the house. We estimate it's age to be mid-late 1800's. Measures 6" high by 12" across from handle by 9 1/2" in diameter at the top by 6" in diameter at the base. This beautiful emanel chamber pot. This measures 7" wide(not counting the handle) and 3 3/4" deep" deep. This is an older one from the 1920's or early 30's. Vintage Childs Enamelware chamber pot. This piece is in excellent condition for its age. It is approximately 6 inches across(excluding the handle) and 3 inches tall. It has a very cute bear decal on one side. I have owned this piece for at least 25 years. I don't see any chips. However there are a few places under the rim where the enamel is thinner then the rest(occurred durint the manufacturing process) There are some barely visible scuff marks as is common with enamelware.
