It is enclosed in a beautiful cast iron case with a New Haven clock face.The clock is approximately 20” tall x 14” wide.In regards to the condition, the clock has some wear consistent with age and use. The clock time movement is not present, although the time recording mechanism is in the case (not sure if it is the complete mechanism or partial, see photos for the mechanism). The key for the lock is missing and there appears to have been a repair to the top of the casting.

Rare French Gilt Bronze and Rouge marble base Clock signed F. BARBEDIENNE on the bronze and F. BARBEDIENNE PARIS on the dial. 9.5 inches tall and 5 inches ... morewide at the base. The French 8 Day platform escapement is signed J. E. DUPONT PARIS. Two hammers striking on a gong. One for the time and one for the alarm. The movement has not been tested or taken apart. Clock runs for 30 seconds than stops, probably just needs a cleaning. There are no cracks, chips or hairlines to the dial. The case is in great condition with no damage or repairs. Excellent detail to include the 4 fluted 3/4 columns. Four glass beveled sides surround the case. One of the side glass sides has some chips, but this piece could be replaced for cheap money. Original key included Ferdinand Barbedienne(10 January 1810– 21 March 1892) was a French and manufacturer, who was well known as a bronze founder. The F. Barbedienne foundry was started in Paris in 1838 by Ferdinand Barbedienne and Achille Collas. Who was the inventor of a machine that would mechanically reduce statues. They at first produced bronze reductions of antique sculptures of Greek and Roman origin. Their first contract to produce bronzes modeled by a living artist was made in 1843 when they arranged to produce the works of Francois Rude. They barely survived the revolution and financial collapse of 1848 which caused many artists and foundries to declare bankruptcy. Barbedienne actively pursued contracts with the many sculptors of Paris contracting with David D'Angers, Jean-Baptiste Clesinger, and even producing some casts for Antoine Louis Barye as well as others. Achille Collas died in 1859 leaving Ferdinand Barbedienne as the sole owner of the foundry which by that time had grown to employ over 300 workers at their workshop located at 63 Rue de Lancry in Paris. Ferdinand Barbedienne was made the President of the Reunion of Bronze Makers in 1865 a post he held until 1885. This rare antique Imhof clock is in excellent condition and working order. The light spots in the photos are just from the camera flash and reflection. The clock does not have the clear glass face cover. This is easily replaceable. It also does not have the end knob to set the clock time. This is also easily replaceable. Currently. My neighbor hooked the clock up for a few moments for me to try it out, and the clock does in fact run once hooked up. Although I could not find a mark on the glass, I was told the glass portion of clock was possibly produced by Lalique for ATO. I did also see a couple other small desk clocks by Leon Hatot, also marked ATO that the glass was attributed to Lalqiue which were sold at Christies auction house. The Clock is a nice size for display measuring approx 10" tall by 8-1/2" across the face or 7-1/2" across the base. The Clock is also in excellent condition overall with the Glass showing no chips, cracks or repairs and the"Bakelite" base showing no cracks or repairs as well. The inside of the Clock is well shown in our photos for you to judge condition. I really have no idea what the clock would be worth never seeing another example quite like this, or of this larger size. But I do know some small size glass Leon Hatot clocks have sold at the higher end auctions well into the thousands of dollars so I think this could be a very desirable find. Rare and impressive original antique clock set. The bodies are stunning Japanese Imari porcelain mounted with finely gilded bronze. Candelabra are formed from a matching pair of Japanese Imari porcelain jars of inverted pear form covered with a high domed lid. The clock is housed in a matching, but larger jar. The body is beautifully decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze rust-red enamel and gilt highlights. The vases sit on heavy gilded bronze bases with scrolled feet. The clock is surmounted by a winged mythical creatures and has a pair of lions mask handles. Candelabra are surmounted by four elegantly scrolled branches. The dial is also gilt brass with 12 individual enamel cartouches and blued steel hands. It is mounted in a heavy gilt bronze surround and is covered with convex glass. The French movement is by Samuel Marti and has the makers mark on the movement backplate. It is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is an old replacement. The original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration and there are no losses. The Imari porcelain is also in excellent condition with the usual slight wear to the overglaze gilt decoration. You are bidding on a very rare piece of coca-cola history. These clocks were given to country stores in the late 1800's to early 1900's to advertise coke. I new they were rare because I have only seen about a half dozen in the last nearly 40 years and I tried to buy everyone I saw but after researching them a little on ebay I have came to the conclusion that they must be extremely rare because they have over 56.000+ items listed and none of these clocks. This particular clock I bought right out of a local home from the grandson of the original owner. It was running on the wall when we took it down. Usually these clocks are Ingraham's or Gilberts but the only way to actually tell is to take the face off and look at the works and they will probably be signed but I don't want to do this unless someone really wants to know. The ... moreclock is solid oak with it's original dark finish. The glass is all original,The paint is all original, some of the black paint on the top glass is missing, see photo but can easily be repainted if new owner desires. The gold on the bottom glass that says regulator is in great condition, bright, near perfect. The face is all original with the drink coca cola still visible but there are stains to the face which most clock people like me would much rather have the original face stained than a new one but it could be replaced but in my opinion would run the value of the clock. Most all American made wall regulators of this age have the back inside painted black which this one being no exception, see photos. This coke clock still has the original brass pendilum and key. DIMENSIONS: 34 inches in total height, total depth is 6 inches and 19 inches total width at the top of the clock on the moulding. Depth of the main part of the case 4 1/2 inches, width of the main part of the case 15 3/4 inches. Here is an extremely rare miniature French clock in a"La Belle et le Paysan" pattern. As inspired by 18th Century toile. The case is deliberately flat in design so that the balance of the figures and rococo elements is emphasized. And stands on a 3-legged rococo base. This clock is signed on the dial"Planchon a Paris" Planchon is a well known 19th Century maker of superior French clocks with high-style cases. This clock is 14 inches high. The dial is only 1 3/8 inches in diameter. The case is in original condition. And its surface retains much of the original gilt finish. The movement is beautifully made and finished. As would be expected of a famous Paris maker. The lever escapement platform looks to be in excellent working condition. The movement works for a short period. Well preserved, working American mantle clock that was produced in"Winsted Connecticut USA" about 105 years ago and signed on the dial, movement, and on a mostly intact label underneath by the"Gilbert Clock Company, one of the best clock makers ever. According to the same label, this is the"Blackbird" model of chiming mantle clocks produced by Gilbert. It has a nice satin black finish and accented with Roman pillars on each side of the dial, fancy claw cast metal ... morefeet in front, cast metal feet in back, a cast metal lion head on each side of the case with a metal ring in his mouth, and fancy, faint etched designs on the lower front and sides of the dial. The dial has a very fancy brass bezel surrounding it and a brass hinged outer bezel as well with a glass crystal inset into it; no cracks or chips that I can see. The dial backdrop is white and features fancy black arabic numeral to mark the hours and fancy metal hands to point out the time. The hands are the old style that are pinned to the escapement, not secured with a nut like the newer models. There is a slow/fast adjustment on the dial in case the clock timing ever needs to be sped up or slowed down. The back of the clock is wood as well and there is a black metal cover that is secured with a metal latch. It opens easily to allow access to the key wind, mechanical movement that is fitted with a brass pendulum. The clock winds on two arbors located on the dial and runs for about 8 days or so on a single wind. The clock chimes too! Here you are looking at a very rare estate find. It is an antique pillar clock made by G.W. Bartholomew in Bristol. CT. I know it was from the 1830's because he made these clocks alone until 1840. His cousin, Eli Bartholomew joined him then and they were called E& G.W. Bartholomew after that. This wooden works pillar clock looks great but needs a little work. The finials are acorns. It is 32 inches tall and 16 1/2 inches wide. Included is the pendulom, the key to the cabinet, a winder, and one weight. Condition can be seen in the pictures. This is a wonderful antique"Rare" Spelter Eagle Mantle Clock. Hand made and hand painted. It is from Austria- Germany and was made around 1900. This large clock is made of heavy spelter and it is in excellent condition with very few minor age scratches or marks. The EAGLE design is spectacular, the feathers, wings, claw feet, beek, and the face are amazing and how he made the claw feet look so real. Beautiful hand painted colors, and how did they get those yellow glass eyes so deep into the head. The clock face is white with black numbers and blued steel hands, the face is covered by a round glass dome hinged door in excellent condition and the glass looks old. The brass 8 Day movement is spring driven time only, marked MDAE IN GERMANY, JEWELED, and it runs well. This majestic Eagle perched on a rock is signed A. Otto and stamped ... moreon the bottom AUSTRIA, JMD, 10603 and has it's original brass key. Read Carefully- This clock functioned until one year ago. I wound it and it just doesn't work. I have not taken it to a repair shop. It is missing the round glass that covers the face of the clock, and there is a chip missing in the enamel(see pic) Those are the cons. The pros- The clock is authentic Wera Swiss and made of 935 sterling which is even more pure than standard 925 sterling. It has 11 jewels, 2 adjustments, along with Wera Swiss stamped inside clock. Rare 1950's/60's Jaeger Le Coultre "MARINA" Heron Bird and Cattails 8 Day Clock
This is a wonderful table clock made by Jaeger Le Coultre in their"Marina" line. It is an 8 day wind up movement. Swiss made. Stamped 487 on the bottom. The clock consists of two lucite panels housed between a gold metal frame with disc feet. The design on the front is of a Heron bird wading in Cattails. With a black background. The clock is in working order and keeps decent time. Loosing a few minutes over each day, not sure if there is an adjustment which can be made, to remedy this. The condition of the clock is good, with light scratches on the front surface and one long 3" visible scratch on the right side and this can be viewed in a photo to follow. Inside the lucite front panel on the left below the heron, there is some gold paint which has seeped down about 2" long on the bottom. Also there are some gold flecks ... morethat have loosened from the picture and that is also on the bottom panel. Both the gold paint and the flecks can be seen in the photos to follow. The gold metal has light wear on both the top and the disc feet. There are no chips, cracks or repairs and the entire scene is intact. The clock measures 7" wide from disc to disc. With the inside lucite panels measuring 7" tall by 5 1/2" wide. The clock is 1" thick. You are buying this clock as is with a reasonable starting bid. This is without a doubt one of the rarest clocks if not THE rarest on eBay and definitely is the nicest exotic African rain forest wood French balloon mantle clock on eBay! It is from my own personal collection and is one of the nicer clocks in my collection. I have owned the clock for a while and now it is time for another very lucky person to own and enjoy it as I have. The clock was made in the 1850- 1899 era in Paris. France by the celebrated Master Clockmaker Hry Marc. Hry Marc clocks are rare because of their quality and scarceness and when you see one for sale that you just love it is the time to buy it! It is in true superb mint condtion and there are no issues with the clock I can find whatsoever. The wood this clock is made from is just gorgeous! It is African rain forest wood and it can no longer be acquired because the international ... morerules and regulations protecting the rain forests prohibit the removal of the wood from the rain forest where it still exists. Just look at the pictures which show the beautiful exotic grains of this wood. AMAZING! When someone sees this clock displayed in your home they will first comment on the beauty of the wood and then notice the quality of the clock. Anyone who knows anything about French clocks knows Hry Marc clocks are certainly prized possessions and this one in particular shows the mastery of Hry Marc! It has an 8 day French movement(of course with the Hry Marc name on the back plate) which runs and strikes flawlessly on it's original silver bell as long as you leave this clock alone and do not move it around from place to place. It likes to live it one place and one place only and unless you are willing to retime the movement over and over again every time you move it find the spot for it to be displayed and leave it there. The clock has a 48R movement probably made in Germany at the Turn of the Century. The case is absolutey beautiful with wonderful inlay and genuine purfling. I believe the included key and pendulum are original. As far as I can tell the clock is completely original and in extremely fine working condition. The glass face is the most special piece of heavy beveled glass or crystal. The clock stands approximately 10 2/3" tall. The coil gong has the most warm sound. Here we have a stunning retro Seiko electric or battery powered plastic clock from the 1960's. On a swivel mound this unusual piece screams 60's style. Yes is did work last time I tried it but I won't gaurentee that it works now. However what a talking piece for your retro themed house or office. With brillian Seiko movement this was a very expensive clock when new. Originally it was given as a gift to special guests of Qantas it is marked with a Qantas logo on the bottom of the stand. Beautiful Rare Porcelain Antique French Longwy Clock Model 1092/ 1980 as marked. What a great little gem of a clock this is. Standing 11.5" tall and 4.5" wide, the clock is hand painted with 2 Cheribum and musical instruments on the sides and tops. The predominant color is a light shade of pink. Mechanically the movement will run but the pendulum only swings for a few minutes, it may need to be adjusted, I am not a clock expert and cannot vouch for the mechanical condition of this clock, it does appear complete with a movement marked France 174, the bell is present and the pendulum, the hands can be removed by simply pulling them off, I believe it is missing something that keeps the hands secured. RARE Oval Brass Carriage Clock French c.1860 Curved Beveled Crystal Alarm RARE Oval Brass Carriage Clock French c.1860 Curved Beveled Crystal Alarm This auction is for this amazing French bronze carriage clock that was my personal clock and it was bought at a Sotheby's auction at the castle of the Prince of Baden in Germany. It is unusual as it is an oval carriage clock and the crystal is curved and beveled. It is also an alarm clock on bell. It has it's original cylinder escapement. It was just overhauled and bushed in bronze. The escapement has the letters"FR" and"FA" as well as an arrow. When opened"SR" and"FA" are again engraved in the back panel. There is also a lion engraved into the back panel and I assume that this is the maker's mark. The back curved crystal on the little drawer ... morethat opens is slightly chipped and the edges of the corners. Otherwise the clock is in it's good original condition and is uncleaned with it's original patina. Clock face and alarm clock face are porcelain panels with decorative Arabic numerals. Being totally overhauled. The clock works very well! With the handle lying flat, it is 4.5" high and with the decorative curved handle extended, it is 6.25" high, 3.5" wide, and a little over 2.5" deep. It stands on four brass bun feet. Vintage Boy Scout clock. This clock has a unique design with the sun dial on the top. The top actually turns as the the clock ticks away. It has the Boy Scout emblem on the side. See pictures. There is a indicator needle that you use to tell the time. To adjust the time you spin the top to the correct position. There is an adjustment on the bottom to adjust the pace of the time along with a knob to wind the clock. It's is in an excellent condition regarding its age and it comes in SOLID METAL having beautifully decorated bronze features. You will definately NOT find a second one easily. The most special thing about this clock is that it runs like a CHRONOGRAPH; perfect and"on the second" On top there is a bell which tells you it is time to wake up. The sound of it is clear. This piece has not been cleaned or polished. The inner brass edge around the dial is shining like new. There is(real) glass in front. The bronze base is richly decorated; the same goes for the bronze carriage handle on top of this clock. On the dail you will find the time in Roman numbers for the AM part and in Arabic numbers ... morefor the PM part. The dial also is diveded in 60 partitions; for each minute one partition. It comes with a paper dial which is in a extreme good condition. The hands are made of black metal. There is an extra metal alarm hand. To tell you when the alarm is set. Mext to the bell there is a handle to turn the alarm on and off. Having a windable movement which is running great. For the alarm goes the same! IBoth the time and alarm are adjustable on the rear of the clock. This clock pased time without major cosmetic issues. Overal this object is in a very good state but not new. Used products have signs of use. Mentionable is that one leg at the rear has been repaired inside the clock(photo 12)One winding handle is not original. Up for auction is a rather rare German Art Deco Machine Age mantel clock. Circa 1920-30. Dimensions are approximately: W- 12.5" H- 10.5" D- 5.5" Maker: Unknown. The manufacturer is not label on the mechanism or case. Mechanism: The clock has an 8-day time and strike spring driven mechanism. The mechanism looks fairly clean and is in working order. The clock strikes once on the half hour and the number on the hour. The pendulum is a replacement. The case: The case is comprised of 2 different woods. Oak and I believe rosewood. Someone told me the base was teak, but I don't believe its accurate information. The case still has the original finish. There is a small slice, approximately 1.5" in the veneer by the numeral"3" Please see the photo. The metal dial and hands are original. The clock will come furnished ... morewith a winding key.
