The putti are taking birds from the nest at their feet. The open cage sits next to them. The two Sevres style porcelain panels also feature putti or cherubs with birds. I am not a clock expert so please bear with me. The clock has a pendulum that that is numbered"347" the same as the movement- so I think it's original. The key was made in England so I doubt that is original. I gently wound the clock a little(without the pendulum installed) and it runs. But obviously too fast. It chimes on the hour. I hung the pendulum where I thought it should go and the clock did not run very long. Please email me if you have any specific questions, and I'll do my best to answer them. SIZE: The clock is 12.75 inches tall. And approximately 13.5 inches wide. It weighs 11 pounds 3 ounces. The clock face is just under 3.5 inches diameter. CONDITION: There are some rubs and tarnish to the finish. I haven't tried cleaning the clock. I don't see any repairs or damage. In the photos. You can see what looks like some"separations" in the metal but it is not damage- some pieces were cast separately. Please see the close up pictures for the best description of the cosmetic condition. Beautifully modelled and finished in glorious ormolu(finely gilded bronze or doré bronze) It is of balloon form with bold scrolls and acanthus swags. To the top a large rococo flourish. The front and sides have sound frets backed with red velvet. We have carefully and completely cleaned and restored the clock to a very high standard. The large and stunning dial is enamel on copper and is complete with it's original finely fretted gilt brass hands and convex bezel. The bezel is marked for the retailer Charles Hour. The French movement is of high quality and has the makers mark on the movement backplate of Louis Japy. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker and thoroughly tested before presenting it for sale. Pendulum is original. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video clip below to hear the bell and watch the clock running! Condition of the case is excellent. Beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration and there are no losses. The mold itself is very Victorian with a pointed top and four squat legs at the bottom. The movement"was" a Mercedes; made in Germany. The clock does"not" have the original movement as when it stopped working many moons ago. An elderly uncle changed the inside to battery operated. Measures 8" high x 4-1/2" wide. Victoria: This sign is registered in Robert E. Rontgen's Marks on German. Bohemian and Austrian porcelain. It was used from 1904-1918 by the Victoria Porcelain Factory which was founded in 1883 by Lazarus& Rosenfeld Ltd. It was located in Altrouhlau, Austria. It was sold two years later and became the largest porcelain factory of its kind. Pieces made were considered commercial products. At that time not thought to have great value. Antique HENRY MARC FRENCH Ormolu SEVRES Porcelain PUTTI CLOCK Cherub Brass Gilt Offered for sale is this beautiful antique French gilt metal clock. It was made by Henry Marc of Paris. The putti are taking birds from the nest at their feet. The open cage sits next to them. The two Sevres style porcelain panels also feature putti or cherubs with birds. I am not a clock expert so please bear with me. The clock has a pendulum that that is numbered"347" the same as the movement- so I think it's original. The key was made in England so I doubt that is original. I gently wound the clock a little(without the pendulum installed) and it runs. But obviously too fast. It chimes on the hour. Rare Bronze Mounted Imari Porcelain Clock Set ~ Samuel Marti. ~ Japanese/ French- Circa 1890 ~. ~~ Excellent condition. Fully overhauled ~~. A very large. Rare and impressive original antique clock set. The bodies are stunning Japanese Imari porcelain mounted with finely gilded bronze. Candelabra are formed from a matching pair of Japanese Imari porcelain jars of inverted pear form covered with a high domed lid. The clock is housed in a matching, but larger jar. The body is beautifully decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze rust-red enamel and gilt highlights. The vases sit on heavy gilded bronze bases with scrolled feet. The clock is surmounted by a winged mythical creatures and has a pair of lions mask handles. Candelabra are surmounted by four elegantly scrolled branches. The gilding is in lovely fresh and bright condition which ... morecontrasts beautifully with the Imari porcelain. The dial is also gilt brass with 12 individual enamel cartouches and blued steel hands. It is mounted in a heavy gilt bronze surround and is covered with convex glass. The French movement is by Samuel Marti and has the makers mark on the movement backplate. It is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is an old replacement. The original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration and there are no losses. The Imari porcelain is also in excellent condition with the usual slight wear to the overglaze gilt decoration. There is a tiny chip on the edge of the hole made for the back door that isn't quite covered by rim of the door, this isn't noticeable. The dial is also in excellent condition just with no damage. Exceptional French Clock in Gilt Bronze, Marble, and Porcelain - circa 1890
Here is a truly elegant French clock with great style and quality. It combines superb gilt bronze figures with a white marble base and a blue& white porcelain column which houses the fine small movement. This clock stands just under 14 inches high. The dial is 3 inches across. The pictures suggest. But do not fully show, the high quality of the bronze castings. T h e movement has be e n running well. But, as with any clock, may need some adjustment after shipping. The left rear foot is slightly different from the other 5 in that it's rim is smooth; y ou have to look underneath the clock to see this difference. This Sèvres and gold-gilt bronze clock stands 22 inches high. 12 inches wide and 6 inches deep near its base. It has been on my mantel for about fifteen years and adds incredible beauty to my dining room. The clock uses a S. Marti et Cie. mechanism which dates between 1867 and 1889. The clock has been checked and lightly cleaned by a professional clock maker and is in excellent and accurate working condition. MECHANISM- The clock has an 8-day bell-striking movement which is stamped“ S. Marti et Cie” in the center with“ Medaille de Bronze” in a circle around it. Samuel Marti was awarded ... morethe Bronze Medal in 1860. The mechanism and the pendulum have the same serioal number. Samuel Marti et Cie was a well known clock maker in Paris in the mid eighteenth century. The Medaille de Bronze stamp was used during the period 1867– 1889. Clock has its original pendulum and key. PORCELAIN- The detail of a cherub on the porcelain face is very detailed and in excellent condition. The face and hands are original. There is a Sevres mark under the lid but it would requiring disassembling in order to get a good photo of it. It is the crossed“L’s” with“S” inside. Similar to Kovel’s Dictionary of Marks. Page 226. This mark was used starting in 1771 and into the second half of the 1800’s. ORMOLU- The ormolu is magnificent and very detailed. The metal is solid bronze with heavy gold gilt. There is some slight“greening” at the joints which is barely noticeable unless you are looking for it. Owner purchased the clock from an antique dealer in 1998 for $3.150. Nice antique(c 1894) pink pansy floral porcelain clock with the clock mechanisms by Kroeber of NY. The clock is basically working. Has the key and pendulum, but we cannot say how well the timing is working. It may need a little tuneup. Clock is being sold as is. Pickup always available. The porcelain base has uniform and heavy crazing. A few spots of disocluration but no chips or hairlines. The glaze is still strong and vibrant. The glass face is missing. The brass face has some tarnish but is intact. The clock mechanism is brass. And the Kroeber mark is F. Kroeber Clock Co. NY then Pat 1894. Measures 10.5 inches tall and 9 inches wide. This listing is for a fine French Old Paris porcelain clock circa 1830. The clock measures 14 inches or 36 cm high. The clock case is all porcelain and made during the reign of Louis Phillipe. This case was made by and signed by Jacob Petit. Perhaps the most well known"Old Paris" porcelain makers of his time. The case is green and white with heavy gold leaf and floral accents. The case is signed ... moreon the bottom with the"J.P. in under glaze blue. This is the monogram of Jacob Petit(1796 to 1868) The brass dial has green inset plaques containing Roman numerals. The dial is surrounded by a brass 1/2 inch wide bezel cut with vertical groves. The porcelain around this bezel is decorated with gold rays ending in scalloped edges. Thus giving the dial the look of a radiant sun. Very clever and effective. The measures 4 1/2 inches or 11.5 cm across.The movement is of the silk suspension type and eight day time and strike. The movement is signed"PEPIN A PARIS" Pepin was a Parisian clock maker from the 18th through the beginning of the 19th century. one of his clocks is in the British Royal Collection Trust) Here is the condition. The porcelain is in immaculate condition with no damage or repairs. The clock does run. The movement is all there. Both springs are good and the clock has it's original pendulum and key. The clock mechanism I don't believe was ever cleaned in it's nearly 200 year old life. Early Sevres Porcelain and Ormolu Clock Set. Silk Suspension Movement ~ French- Circa 1850 ~. ~~ Excellent condition. Fully overhauled ~~. A glorious and early original antique French clock set featuring Sevres style porcelain and cherubs. It is most exquisitely modelled in the classical style of Louis XVI. Finely chased and crisply modelled in ormolu(finely gilded brass/bronze) and mounted with Sevres style porcelain panels. Porcelain has a blue ground and is delicately painted with floral swags. The panel below the dial is painted with a delightful scene of two cherubs. To the top of the clock is a cherub marking off time. Candelabra have porcelain mounted bases upon which stand cherubs, one boy and one a girl, holding the four branches aloft as burning touch é. Branches are modelled as stylised acanthus. The clock sits on its polished ... moreintegral base allowing the reflection of the pendulum to be seen swinging within. This clock set has been impeccably prepared by our restorers and is beautifully bright and clean. Ready to display. The dial is enamel in copper. Lettered in blue with separate minute and hour rings. The finely fretted gilt brass hands are original and the hobnail bezel is fitted with convex glass. The rear door is also glazed to allow the movement to be seen. The French movement is of excellent quality and is the early design with silk suspension and outside hammer stop spring. The backplate of the movement is marked"M" for the retailer and unusually the case is also marked with the same"M" Movement is in excellent. German Porcelain POCONO Ansonia Mantel/Shelf Clock Patd 1882 with Key/Pendulum
There are no chips or cracks. There is light crazing throughout as usual for these. It measures 12" tall. 12 1/2" wide by 5" deep. BEAUTIFUL DIAL with green and what appears to be original hands. The pendulum appears to be original also. This is a recent estate find and it does not run for more than a few minutes. Will definitely need cleaning. Beautiful Rare Antique French Porcelain Longwy Clock Model 1092 / 1980
Beautiful Rare Porcelain Antique French Longwy Clock Model 1092/ 1980 as marked. What a great little gem of a clock this is. Standing 11.5" tall and 4.5" wide, the clock is hand painted with 2 Cheribum and musical instruments on the sides and tops. The predominant color is a light shade of pink. Mechanically the movement will run but the pendulum only swings for a few minutes, it may need to be adjusted, I am not a clock expert and cannot vouch for the mechanical condition of this clock, it does appear complete with a movement marked France 174, the bell is present and the pendulum, the hands can be removed by simply pulling them off, I believe it is missing something that keeps the hands secured. There is one small chip to the left side base that is hard to see unless you look for it, otherwise the clock is in fine condition! I ... moredo not have a key with this clock. The Clock is superbly decoration with serves French porcelain scenic panels all around and to the sides. The Clock is also richly gold gilt throughout. And is solid bronze. The Clock also has a wonderful and unique figural top with two cherub boys playing with a turtle. The Clock has its original quality movement which is signed by the fine period French maker “Japy Freres”. When I picked up the clock at the estate is was in good working order. And rings on the half and full hours. To be safe for the auction I will assume the clock may need a servicing or light cleaning to keep perfect time, which I am sure has not been done in some time. The Clock itself is in very fine condition showing very light wear to the panels, and no chips, cracks, missing pieces, or repairs. The Clock displays beautifully measuring 12 ½ inches wide, by 5 ½ inches deep, and sits 14 ½ inches tall. You rarely see examples of this truly superb period quality come up for auction. This clock is in magnificent condition for it's age of(130) plus years old.This clock appears to be in good working condition. The clock is keeping correct time for the period that I've tested it. The face of the clock shows some very minor wear with a chip. But doesn't take away from it's beauty. The Marble case is in good condition. W/ the exception of some small minor chips and a piece of marble missing on the lower left side(see pic's) Porcelain Dial.Time& Strike.Pendulum are all there(pendulum does not seem to tighten up on rod) As well as the key. Not sure of it's exact age. The mark in back shows: G.B. possible short for Gustav Becker, but can't be 100% sure. The body of clock is solid wood. With dark antique stain. The face of clock is made of white porcelain. With dark blue checker design. It has key for winding. Clock works if slightly tilted off balance. The face has crack going in three different directions. Someone with skill can probably fill those in. Measures: 14" overall. Face is: 10" x 10" square.

This is a gorgeous antique Victorian flow blue porcelain china mantle clock. A beautiful royal flow blue is decorated with gold gild. The front and side panels have a floral motif in lovely shades of pinks and lavenders. The back is marked"Royal Bonn 1755" La Vogue" The bottom is marked with letters and numbers that I have shown in a photo. I believe this mantle clock was made by the Ansonia Clock Company but not certain. This clock has the original glass with beveled edge and beautiful decorative front but the clock works have been replaced with an electric General Electric clock. The clock does run but have not tested it over a long period of time to know if it keeps time well or not. For your consideration is this: Antique Victorian Wall Clock With Porcelain Face& Brass Horse Finial Description: This beautiful antique mechanical clock is approximately 32" tall. Approximately 13" wide, and approximately 6 3/4" thick. The face of the clock is approximately 5" in diameter and is porcelain. The clock is made of wood with the horse, gears, bell, pendulum, and rim of the clock face made of brass. The glass door of the clock opens to allow access to the clock. The height of the pendulum can be adjusted. The key for winding the clock is included along with a small metal hook. The back of the clock features a small metal hanger for affixing the clock to a wall. The wooden section on top of the clock and the horse which sits on top of it can both be removed. It’s estimated to have been made in the early 20 th century. The round dial is marble. All the Roman numerals are porcelain. Surrounded by brass. The hour and minute hands. As well as the center plate that holds them, are solid brass. The background that surrounds the dial is a di-cut brass plate with a flower pattern. The bottom of the frame is wood. This mantle clock is in a Louis XV style bronze dore case. It has a porcelain insert depicting a man and woman in 18 th century dress. The case was made by New Haven clock Co. and it is likely the movement is French. The movement is unmarked. The clock is 14 inches high. 9 inches wide and 5 inches deep. The clock has an ornate porcelain face but it has a crack in it. The door covering the face has beveled glass. The door on the back of the clock has a paper New Haven label on the inside. The back door is loose from the case. The pendulum is present but we do not have the key. The clock is not running.

French antique garniture set Lovely 3 piece set of a vase clock with matching candelabras. The porcelain is quite thin and has a matt bisque finish. There are flowers hand painted on it. The white color is enameled paint. The main color is a lovely deep sea blue/green. The flowers on it make it even nicer. I have never seen a set like this. Made around 1880-1900. The ornaments are partly made of brass and partly made of bronze. All the ornaments are original and in good. Antique condition, with only minor wear. The porcelain is also in very good condition, with no cracks. The clock dial is made of enamel. It does have some minor damage to it, look at the photo for the details.
