These movements were Seth Thomas' very high end performers and where also used in their railroad clocks. The dial is engraved and silvered and is very clean. This is an exceptionally rare circa 1900 “Simplex” time recorder clock designed by EG Watkins for Heywood Wakefield Bro’s. This design was the first time ... more/ punch clock produced and holds several patents from the 1890’s (as pictured). It is enclosed in a beautiful cast iron case with a New Haven clock face.The clock is approximately 20” tall x 14” wide.In regards to the condition, the clock has some wear consistent with age and use. The clock time movement is not present, although the time recording mechanism is in the case (not sure if it is the complete mechanism or partial, see photos for the mechanism). The key for the lock is missing and there appears to have been a repair to the top of the casting.

Up for auction is very hard to find and beautiful movement for antique French portico/empire clock. Manufactured in France as I believe around 1830. The movement has a nice metallic dial in a good condition and beautiful gilded bronze bezel. The movement was professionally cleaned and oiled, mainsprings were changed and now the movement is very clean and works perfectly- it runs and strikes in the hours and half hours. The outer diameter of the gilded bronze bezel is a little more than 5" approximately 5.1" The shipping cost in 48 continental states is $19 with insurance and tracking number. This does not seem to be working. Cute decorative piece either way. Good condition case. But there are splotches of something, I haven't tried to remove. One back leg has been replaced with a slightly shorter similar leg, as shown. This is a hard plastic material. Approx. 4 3/8" tall, width approx. 3 3/16" at the widest point of base legs. Antique French Clock Movement by Mougin
This is antique French clock movement. Manufactured by famous clock master Mougin(has his stamp on the back plate) as I believe around 18 5 0. The movement came from old clock master estate and looks very clean(shining) and works(there was note in the box from clock master that the movement was cleaned and oiled. That the mainsprings were changed and that the movement works perfectly) The movement runs and strikes on the hours and half hours. Though I did not test it for a long time. The distance between keyholes is approximately 38 mm. B etwee n center and keyhole 14 mm and the center and the axle for a d justment 42 mm. I n the box together with the movement there was also the bronze bezel with the front door with the porcelain dial and pan. It will go with the movement. The dial has small damage near numbers 7 and 11. The dial fits the ... moremovement. But the holes in the front plate of the movement for the pan feet have to be a little bigger(not for me to do this) The bezel will fit the opening approximately 4" a little less) What you see on the pictures i s what you will have. We tested it and it works great. On the front near the bottom is a brass wall pocket as part of the clock with a lion's head with a ring in its mouth on the front of it. It is in shabby chic condition with gesso loss in a few spots. Just under the dial at the top of the"strings" and a chip at the very top. The face is approx. 6 1/2" across. The overall clock is approx. 17 3/4" across and 39" tall. We do not know who made this or when, though we suspect around the 1940's. Here for auction is what I believe to be a clock movement dated around the late 1800's. This is probably a Black Forest Wag on Wall Shield Clock. The movement appears to be in working condition with the proper repairs as it has obviously been sitting for some time. It is weight driven by 2 heavy weight drive chains which I am including. The chains alone are very nice collectable parts. The frame measures 9" tall x 6" wide. If anyone out there knows about this clock I would love to know where it is from and how old it is. 16th Century Regulator Replica Pendulum Movement Open Design Wall Clock
Although you are seeing this on my wall. The one you will be getting is brand new in the box. Take note this is a reproduction and not original. It replicates the 16th century Regulator, which was a vast improvement in time keeping and was the first pendulum and weight-driven movement clock. The open design exposes the 7-day brass movement; the antiqued brass face is engraved with large roman numerals artistically spaced by royal fleur-de-lis detailing. The antiqued brass bell on top strikes the hour. And the pendulum swings rhythmically as the weight lowers. Keep in mind you will need to place this 6 foot off the ground to give the chain room to lower during the 7 days. The size of this clock is 5½" Wide x 3½"D x 26"H. It weighs approximately 7 lbs.
