Nice vintage pair of cast iron barn door sliders or openers with wheels
This is a very nice pair of cast iron barn sliders. The brackets are approximately 12" long. The over all length including the wheels are about 14" The wheels are about 4 inches across and turn freely. There is surface rust that could easily be removed. These sliders have a very interesting shape and are in great condition for a door rehab. Please check out my other barn and shop finds, I plan to list several treasures this week. Thanks for looking.

This old piece still has a little bit of the original old white paint on it and features the number 4 on the top of the roller post. The roller wheel measures 4” across and is 5/8” wide. It is securely attached with no damage. The mounting plate is 13” long. Measures 4 ½” wide in the middle and 2” wide at the pointed bottom. The overall length of the pulley is 14 1/4" long. There are 4 holes in the middle and 2 at the bottom for mounting. ... moreThis is heavy piece, weighing in at just under 3lbs. There are no breaks. Cracks, chips, or repairs to this barn door roller. There is all over surface rust, but it has not started to eat away at the iron. I wiped it down with some WD-40 and a cloth. Nothing else. I was able to remove a lot of rust coloring and I am pretty sure it will clean up beautifully with some light sanding or wire brushing. Please feel free to ask any questions that you might have– I am always happy to answer! If you can't quite make up your mind on whether or not you want to purchase this item and just want to keep an eye on it. Awesome Heavy 24" Antique 3 Step Barn Hinges Salvaged from an old very old barn in the UP of Michigan. These hinges were used on the a revieving double doors. They are 24 inches long and at the hinge base 8 inches wide. They weigh about 9 pounds each. They are as found and for their age are in great working condition and are extremely solid. There is some rust and lots of paint. They appear to be spring loaded. Paint is decent but peeling in places and has some old paint/varnish over parts.
