Vintage Wooden Stool-Shabby Country Chic-White Chippy Paint-Rustic French Decor
Up for auction is a beautiful little footstool. This piece has a lot of charm and character. It was found at a local estate sale. And I meant to sell it right away, but it has been sitting in my home for a while on display, because I really didn't want to give it up. But, it's time to let go of this vintage treasure. The stool measures 14 1/8 x 10 3/4 x 6 1/2 and is painted white. The white paint is chipping off, and you can see where the stool leg bottoms are some type of metal, but were painted over as well. This is a rustic piece, so there are scratches, scrapes, dings, and discoloration all over the stool. There is a piece of wood that has chipped off on the top, and there are some silver stains on the stop and legs as well. I don't know if this silver is paint, or some other material. Up for bid. Is a Circa 1909 Shabby Chic Cast Iron Bracket. Its 1 1/4" wide, 4 3/4" high and 6 1/2" in length. It came from a salvage of a home in Fairmont, WV. The surface of this bracket has rust and chippy white paint. It hasn't been cleaned and in original condition. There is wear on this item, as seen in the photos. These nice pair of pictures measure 15 1/2" wide by 16 1/2" tall. The frame is green with some lighter specks. The color looks a little like faux marble. The frames have a gold edge inside as well as on the outer edge. The subjects of each picture are a young girl and boy that appear to be folk art era(not sure) Both frames have glass covering the cream colored matting.
