Vintage antique HICKLEY Lighting PAIR wall mount fixtures brass no glass
Offered is a pair of brass wall mount light fixtrues from the Hickley Lighting Co. Original mounting hardware is included. Wiring is still there but I do not know if it is still good. The glass that was originally in the fixtures is missing. The last picture shows what the original glass looked like and what the complete fixture looks like. They still make glass that looks almost identical to the original glass and can be found at a stained glass supply store. Each fixture takes 1 pane of glass 6" X 4 3/4" and 3 panes 7 1/4" X 4 3/4" They are held in place by attached clips. 1 fixture has 3 small areas where the brass was polished a little. On one fixture the backplate is bent a little. The fixtures are in nice condition but tarnished. May have some minor scratches but no dents. Earlier on eBay I sold some complete fixtures ... morebut these 2 are the last I have. They came off a building that was built around 1930 and was being remodeled about 10 years ago and have been in storage since. You know LED's use less electricity than halogen(power consumption is about 95% less) but you didn't know it saved you time also, did you. That's right, because LED bulbs last for around 35,000 hours making your system virtually maintenance free. As a starting point. I am offering to convet 14 fixtures at a cost of $25/fixture = $350. For each spot light converted. Assuming a 50w bulb, you would save 45 watts by converting to LED. If you run your bulbs just 4 hours/day, then your savings are: 45* 4* 365 = 65.700 watts or 65.6 KW-Hours saved for EACH bulb replaced. Replacing 10 would save you 656 K-W hours or over 1/2 of a Megawatt. Spend a little now or spend more later. Converting path lights saves less as they are usually 20W halogen bulbs that ... moreget replaced with 3W LED's saving 17W/bulb. But hey. Vintage cast bronze fish sconce antique lighting fixtures pair
These vintage lights were removed from a 1880's home in southeastern MA. Not sure of the actual year of manufacturing as there are no markings on the fixtures. Both lights are identical and feature a ornate round globe. The approximate height of each fixture is 12" and the width is 6" The bulbs are 60W each. Fixtures appear to be bronze. They are heavy and do not conduct a magnetic. We have an identical designed pendant light that we are listing separately as well that does not have a matching globe.

I purchased them at an estate sale and I'm not sure they were ever used. Metal painted in an off white. The caged glass globe would make for excellent protection for the light. These hard wire into the wall. Porch, patio, tunnel, hallway, path- where ever! They measure about 12 inches long and will stand out from the wall about 4 inches( from wall cap to the cage) The three are matching and have the brackets and wiring. The arms are also beautifully detailed. And have a subtle Viennese Secessionist-like quality. The chain holders are also very nice. Originally. The main bodies would have been painted. However, this was long gone when I acquired the set. Without knowing what the original color was, I decided to leave well enough alone and simply gently polished the brass(which has a slightly mottled patina) The cast-iron components(the arms, finial, and chain flourish) seem to retain their original gold finish. Curiously. The back-plates on two of the sconces are steel. So, I did a burnished gold finish on these, and on the third sconce(which has a brass back-plate) so it matches. Also, two sconces have switches to their right side(see image) these are new, too. The third sconce has a turn-key socket switch. Not all the fixtures are restored and rewired yet. This will take up to a week after payment is received. The fixtures will have lovely new cloth-covered wiring. This set will be shipped wholly restored and with new wiring. Selling antique table lamp by Horn& Brannen Manufacturing Co. Lighting Fixtures, Philadelphia, Pa. It has 3 candelabra arms and a 3-footed round"pan" style base. It is about 21.5 inches tall and the base is a 7-1/2" wide. The underside has an attached metal signature tag. Please see the pictures for the best description and let me know if you have any questions or would like additional pictures. The lamp is in very good condition and works. It has great patina and although there are some marks and minor dings. Its nothing that wouldn't be expected for an old lamp. The finial is original but the screw connector just sits in the lamp tube but it is stable when a shade is attached between the washer and the finial. It may have been rewired at some point. Vintage Moe Lighting Glass Ceiling Lights x4 Fixtures 5 Bulb Each 1940's Design
For your consideration four(4) late 1940's early 1950's nickel and glass ceiling light fixtures. Manufactured by Moe Lighting Co. between 1948& 1953. Made of nickel steel with a 5-bulb porcelain socket and a case-glass bull's eye style shade. A great mid-century looking ceiling lamp with a lot of wattage capacity. About 18" in diameter and will project from the ceiling about 7 inches including the polished steel finial. The heavy gage ceiling canopy is made of nickel steel with a detailed edge and has two holes for mounting to a box. Each fixture weighs a touch over 5 pounds. The condition of all four is excellent. No breaks or cracks. These lamps are part of the remaining inventory of a store closing its doors after 75 years in business. Please look at all the photos they are part of the description.
