lot of 14 pcs. Antique HARDWARE key holes drawer knobs shade pull? BRASS finial?
2nd pic shows what I would say is a shade pull maybe. It has a multi-facetted red ball(slightly over 1 inch) with a fancy metal flowerery attachment piece on a twisted red cord. 3rd pic shows 4 wooden key hole covers. 3 of them match. 1 is different. Out of the matching ones, 2 of them are in pretty fair condition, while 1 has some bad spots to it. 4th pic is of the 4 drawer or cabinet knobs- none of them matching. 3 of them seem in pretty good condition = the small porcelain enamel one has some dings in it where it comes in contact with the drawer. The last pic is of what I believe are brass? maybe finials. There are 5 of them. They are a tiny bit over an inch from the flat dishlike part to the other flat dishlike part and then the protruding ends are each about 3/8" each. Early Sterling 1860s FINIAL TOP SUGAR SIFTER-Faceted Stem-AS IS-Missing Finial
Up for bid is an early sterling ball or finial top sugar sifter. Sadly missing its top. The piece measures 6 3/4 inches long and weighs 44 grams. The lobed bowl is nicely pierced and has a light gold wash. The hexagonal handle has a knurled disk at each end. The tip is a hole where the finial was attached. It has a monogram of“MCW” on the back of the bowl. The piece is marked“STERLING” as shown. Condition on the piece is poor. As noted. The finial is broken off and missing. Otherwise there is normal wear from use, especially to the gold washed interior. Regardless, a fine if fragmentary piece of early sterling flatware! Up for auction is this lovely and quite unusual biscuit barrel It is good condition overall- as can be seen the silver plate has almost completely worn off exposing the much duller colour of the base metal- it still looks decorative though. There are two pieces missing from the metal holder also- the stumps at the end are all that remain! These can be seen in the fourth picture The holder has a delightful shape which is decorated with slightly raised patterns and designs. The handles are particularly stylish The clear glass liner is original and in really good order still. It is moulded and decorated with a top border design and leaves/ flowers with a frosted look- hopefully just about visible in the photos The lid is slightly mis-shapen but is the original one. Classic Art Nouveau New Haven U.S.A. Gilt Mantle Shelf Clock Cupid Cherub Finial
From a local estate. This wonderfully ornate mantle clock was manufactured in the early part of the century by the New Haven Clock Company in New Haven, CT. The clock stands approximately 10 1/2" tall with a 4 1/2" base. In the Art Nouveau style that was popular at the time, the heavy metal gilt case features a highly detailed design with a cherub or cupid holding a laurel wreath finial. The clock itself has a glass covering over the white face, which has some light brown stains(see photos) It does tick when wound and seems to keep time. Overall, the piece is in good used condition, but we are hesitant to keep winding it, to see if it keeps good time, so we are selling it"as is" One of the 4 screw heads that holds the clock in place is missing, so it is a bit loose. Antique Vintage solid brass scales with decorative moon/star Finial in great shape! Extremely heavy! over 12 lbs. Includes original brass pans/plates which have several small cracks in them on the sides. See pics, but other than that these scales are in wonderful shape for their age and are definately a conversation piece as well as still functioning. Scale moves freely up and down and the middle brass rod under the finial moves left and right as it weighs(see pic 6 and 7) All original. Marked 1Kg 38 34 18 and makers marks on arm which I cannot identify. Measures 15 inches long by 5 inches wide and is 15 inches tall. We ship only within the USA. Old Treen Covered Canister, Box, or container with Acorn Finial on Lid
This fabulous piece came from a Dallas estate sale which contained many antiques. I'm not an expert in woodenware but this piece looks pretty old. It's some kind of container. The lid has an acorm finial. The bottom piece is attached to the base. There is a tight stress or age crack in the lid and also in the bowl. Piece has some wear but overall still very good condition. Stands about 4 1/2" tall. The container itself measures about 2 7/8" across. I would love to hear from you if you have any info to share as to its age or what it was used for. This is one of the most gorgeous pieces of this type that I've seen! It has an acorn finial on the top. Brass inlays down the face. The satin-finish wood case is made in India. I am not sure what kind of wood it is- I had originally thought it was a natural finish cherry wood but I can't be sure. The dials are a hygrometer on top, fully functional battery-operated clock in the center(this is the widest point, just under 8" and a celcius thermometer on the bottom. It has no cracks or chips. A very unique and beautiful piece!

Antique 19th Century Copper Kettle Gooseneck Brass TEAPOT Acorn Finial Dovetail
Up for consideration is this fantastic Dovetail Copper Tea Kettle. I believe this is American. But it could be European. It has a embossed makers mark under neath. I'm believe this dates to the 1800's time frame. The copper kettle is lined with tin that has worn in spots and is hammered and features dovetail constructed. There is a dovetail seam that runs down the back side below the handle, and the entire bottom has a dovetail seam. The bottom has a"5" on it and some other markings(see photo) The handles on both sides are brass with two copper rivets holding the handle in place. The top of the handle is copper and features thumb holds. The lid has an acorn finial. The gooseneck is great and functions wonderfully. You can tell that this piece was made by an expert metal smith. The patina on this is left as is. You could ... morepolish it up if you'd like. Personally. I like the uniqueness of it and only wish it could tell the stories it holds. The kettle is rather large measuring 10 1/4" tall. 11" across from the tip of the spout to the back of the teapot.
