A dense, but readable depiction of London at the time showing hundreds of streets, major buildings, monuments, squares, etc. Printed near scale at bottom right corner: A New Edition Improved to 1st Jan 1841" 17 1/4" x 25" Currently shrunk wrapped, not glued, on 1/2 inch foam core with slipcase inset on verso. In fine condition with only a short crease lower left blank margin and one pin hole in the linen at one of the folds. Slipcase has wear at the extremities and splits at sides. Otherwise good.
