This is a beautiful Victorian era oak stick and ball music stand or bookcase dating to around 1890. PLEASE NOTE: the outdoor pictures came out a bit too red in color.the stand has a rich. Warm walnut colored original finish. The stand features a beautiful bentwood lyre center crest accented with brass bandings. The entire stand has elaborate stick and ball spindled turnings including the front, sides and back. Please also notice that the top of the front legs have brass caps with ball finials which are missing on some others I have seen on ebay. This gorgeous music stand is fully assembled with brass caps and is very tight and super sturdy. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY This lovely handmade hall tree is a true example of 19th century Aesthetic movement design. When materials and motifs from the Far East were the latest style in furnishings. Many hall trees from this period were made of faux bamboo, but this elegant piece is made of the real thing. The body of the piece is made from large pieces of sturdy bamboo— as much as two inches in diameter— while finer bamboo was used on the detailing. Most striking are the beautiful varieties of colorations and texture on the natural bamboo(see photos) The original beveled mirror and original blue and white painted tile(also typical of Aesthetic design) add to the balanced design of the piece. The tile. Painted in an art nouveau(ala William Morris) motif, is signed Boch Freres, La Louviere on the back. The original early wood backing on the mirror ... morehas not been touched. Absolutely stunning American Rococo style cast iron hall tree/ umbrella stand. This piece is in absolutely beautiful condition. This hall tree stands 79" tall. Measures about 28" wide, and approximately 15" deep. I believe this is likely mid 19th Century based on comparable hall trees I have researched. Very heavy, heavy piece, parts of it do come apart- mainly the coat/clothes hooks, and the top piece. There is a separate umbrella tray that comes out. The mirror rotates and is on a ball joint. Beautiful design appears to represent flowing branches, leaves, and flowers and at the top of the mirror a beautiful eagle. Do not know if this was originally off white, but almost certain this has been painted sometime in the past. An incredibly beautiful antique piece. THIS IS VERY DARK, HARD WOOD. COULD BE WALNUT OR MAHOGANY. THE LEGS HAVE BEEN REINFORCED WITH VINTAGE BRASS SLOTTED SCREWS. TOP OF THE TABLE IS 12" DIAMETER. THE HEIGHT OF THE TABLE IS 31.25" THE TOP ALSO TURNS. THE CARVED DEER HEADS ARE JUST BEAUTIFUL WITH CARVED DETAIL AND HORN RACKS. THEY ARE 6" FROM POINT TO POINT AND ARE MOUNTED ON A SHIELD. French Empire Gilt Bronze Antique Jardiniere Stand Pedestal Table, Dirk van Erp
FINE EMPIRE ORMOLU MOUNTED FRUITWOOD JARDINIERE c. 1815 With Later Copper Vessel by Dirk van Erp c. 1913-15 Item# 409VSP19X An incredibly striking stand from the first Empire. This fine object boasts magnificent golden veneers match booked and employed to create bursts of flame throughout all surfaces. The entire surface remains in very fine condition with only minor veneer losses(see condition notes) the rim lined in an attractive repeating-teardrop motif gilt bronze border, the lip projecting slightly over the carcass. This is constructed with a series of laminated blocks built up from the inside beneath the veneers with four added blocks to elevate the later Dirk van Erp hand hammered and dovetailed copper vessel. These rest over three klismo legs, each with curled returns mounted with finely detailed rosettes and a long curving acanthus ... moremount flowing down the knee over robust lion paws. The stand rests over a tri-form base, expertly veneered to almost simulate the furl of a candle flame around a circular gilt bronze rim and raised central plateau. The base is constructed with three-over-two interlocking knuckles at the centermost joint. Retaining a fine faded cognac surface with it's original mounts throughout. This is an absolutely stunning display of craftsmanship and clarity of design from the Empire period. Airy and modern in it's distinct Neoclassical form, this is a piece you will cherish in your home for a lifetime. NYC, circa 1860's, with References Features included on this fine Victorian Rococo J& JW Meeks carved and Laminated Rosewood Etagere are an ornately carved crest with flowers. Beautiful laminated rosewood finials, bonnet top, central arched and framed mirrored back flanked by display shelves with ornately carved and reticulated skirt panels, and turned and ringed supports. The serpentine shaped console base has a conforming marble top, pierced carved laminated rosewood skirt with flower clusters, two skirted displays shelves, reticulated cabriole legs and a raise plinth display shelf. Provenance Mississippi's River Road. The marble top has a small chip on the underside in the front and both ends show some small losses. The mirrors show ... moreage and cloudiness. Overall the Etagere is structurally sound with minor distractions consistent with age. Rare, Antique Chinese carved rosewood and marble stand table Qing~ heavy 19 Lbs
Up for sale is this rare very heavy. Antique late 1800s"Dragon" Chinese carved rosewood marble top round table. This table measures 19 inches tall and 13 inches across at the widest point. The top level that includes the marble is 10 3/8" inches across. The table is completely hand carved and tool marks are clearly visible. I date this table to be from late 1800s. it has a few damages. Missing one small piece approx. size 2" x 3" another side needs a piece on the left side and there might be one or two small pieces missing. It is very heavy weighing 19 lbs. Look at my pictures because they are also part of my description. I am not an expert on asian antiques or table, purchased from an estate sale, therefore do not hesitate to contact me with further questions.

Such as the mirror needs to be refinished and cleaned beneath I went over the surface to remove debris and dust. Many of these were used by the distributor of Aermotor windmills for their sales and parts catalog. This is in nice original condition. The wood portion is oak. Original gold colored finish to the cast iron. No damage or repairs to the nice fragile cast iron. Everything function properly. Has the original castors. The lower marked part turns to allow for the adjustment for the height of this stand. Fine original 1872 Ipswich. Massachusetts area antique map with inset of Middleton, nicely mounted on a thick antique fiber barrel with sturdy wood bottom. Map is comprised of pages 66 and 67 of the Essex County. Massachusetts Atlas printed in 1872. Map details include individual houses and property owners. Harbor islands, Plum Island, Castle neck, and Great Neck(without any roads or houses! the Ipswich River, the Eastern Railroad, the Ipswich Lighthouse, Heartbreak Hill, and many more wonderful details. Scale is two inches to the mile on the main map. North arrows are shown on the main map as well as on the Middleton map inset. Barrel is about 17 1/4 inches tall by 10 inches diameter(44 by 25.5 cm) And was likely once used as a shipping container. Appears to have once had a lid in a previous life. In addition to the map is fine decorative ... moretrim and a panel of faux-marbled paper which appears to be hand painted(see photo) And fine decorative paper tape at margins. A few minor bits of the decorative paper tape are missing. Interior. Showing some pattern, appears to have been lined with old wallpaper. Map. Paper trim, and faux marble panel appear to have a coat of shellac. Would make an excellent umbrella stand. Though interior does not show signs of having been used for this. Antique Gentleman's Shaving Stand w/ adjustable mirror & felt-lined drawers
This is an antique gentleman's shaving stand. I've had an antique dealer tell me it was made of solid cherry wood and is over 100 years old. He also said it has been refinished and the mirror was replaced. It is in mint condition. The mirror is vertically adjustable and tilts perfectly to varying degrees. There is two flip-top felt-lined drawers which are fully functional for storing shaving supplies or toiletries Because of the age of this piece. Antique Victorian fern stand in the manner of Hunzinger
Up for auction is a fine example of a Victorian fern stand. Perfect to hold a potted plant. Or for use as a small nightstand/accent piece. It is in excellent condition, and appears to have been refinished at some point in time. The piece below the top, where the three spindles attach was split and repaired at some time, but it isn't visible unless you really look for it. If you look closely at the first picture in the listing, you can see the break in the ring where the three spindles join the top. The majority of the stand is walnut and the top appears to be pine. I'm guessing that the top was originally ebonized, but the refinisher decided to clear coat it. The stand is 31 inches tall, and the top is just over 13 inches in diameter.
