Antique American Victorian mahogany barber's shaving stand. The stand has a pair of turned supports with an adjustable oval mirror and below a pair of candle sconces that can be moved from side to side. The stand has an original white Pitcher& bowl set. On each side is a towel bar. The stand has three'barley twist' legs. The base is a second tier that holds a lidded chamber pitcher. The stand is in great condition. Size is 52" tall x 23" wide x 21" deep. The stand is very fragile. Pick up only.

We are proud to offer this incredible Victorian shaving stand. Made of Mahogany with burled Walnut inlay. This piece features a swivel mirror and storage drawer, sitting atop a ringed, minimally fluted central column with a wonderfully carved tripod base. The single drawer has an inlaid front and dovetail construction, reinforced by small square nails. There are three small hooks that have been added to the interior of the drawer. There are brass fittings throughout the piece. It is sturdy and stately, and features period detail that is sure to impress. Antique Shaving/Vanity Mirror on Large Stand with 1 Drawer Check out this great shaving/vanity mirror. Has an Empire style look to it. The mirror has some age spots on it but is all intact. The wood case on this one is amazing. Still has what appears to be the original end nuts on the brackets that hold the mirror to the base. And check out the carved leaf details that are at the four corners of the mirror frame. The wood on the whole piece is immaculate. No chips cracks or splits on what shows on the outside. The bottom of the drawer is not split. Check out the bizarre doweling at the bottom and the dovetail only goes into the one side not the other. I found that to be very unique. I see no maker marking on this piece. The felt on the inside of the drawer was done more recently. Has what appears to be the 4 appropriate wood legs on the bottom ... moreof the base that all match and are not cracked or split. The vanity is 14" across. By 18-1/8" tall by 7.25" wide. There is no nicks or scratches on the wood. The bowl is also in amazing shape. Looks like it did back in the day when it was first made. The oak is solid quarter sawn white oak(typical for the period) that has great grain. It has been professionally refinished and restored to provide many additional years of service. for sale a wonderful pierced carved victorian rococo walnut dresser vanity or possibly a shaving stand. depends on what you want as to what you call it. it is a great piece presented in original finish with wonderful patina. it is in near mint condition with the exception of a small repair. Looks as if screws have been replaced on one of the back swivel mount pieces. there are no weakness or problem and the function is perfect, but it has been tweaked a bit. it is 30 inches wide and sits on great carved rococo feet. the base has three hinged caskets for whatever you want to put in them. it is 12 inches deep, extending one inch behind the mirror base. the mirror base and harp are of wonderful form and design. the base and harp are pierced carved in the finest fashion. it is 33 inches in overall height. the harp houses an oval frame which contains ... morethe original mirror that is nearly perfect. there is the minutest amount of sliver loss. these are hard to find especially in the shape this one is in. the three caskets are a 9.5 inch oval in the center and two 6.5 inch round ones on either side of the central oval one. someone will be proud to own this great piece. it may be picked up at my home and shipped at buyer's expense. i have owned about 4 of these in 40 years, none any nicer than this one, but all sold for a lot more than i am starting this one at. i had one that i had a little dresser base for it to sit on. it sold for about 3000 a few years back. anyway, if you are on your toes you can get a bargain here. a rare and fair find and wonderful in every way.

It more than likely had a porcelain insert in the soap cup, it is missing but all else is in tact. The mirror is beveled and measure 5" in diameter, the stand is 13" h and the base measures 8" in diameter. The patina is old and wonderful and I believe it is silver plate. Up for bid is a very nice Antique Vintage Shaving Mirror with scalloped glass. attached to an iron frame holder that can double as a stand. It swivels. Tilts forward, and all. The Iron is in great shape and works perfectly. The mirror itself has some wear and shows its age and has a small dot imperfection on the middle right. The mirror has some sort of girl design with flowers on the top left. I don't know much about this mirror. I was told by a friend that it was an antique and probably worth a good amount of money. I don't know the age. Maker, etc. from looking at other listings, it perhaps could be from the 1800's or very early 1900's. Antique Federal dressing/shaving mirror. It stands 30" tall. 22" across, and 10" wide. The shield shaped mirror alone is 23" x 14 1/2" It has line inlay, three feathers on each corner, and a conch shell in the center. There are three drawers. Two faux ivory discs, one on each side of the mirror. There is an old repair to a piece of inlay by the keyhole. The left side with the three feathers inlay has some damage. See pictures. Antique Victorian Acme Shaving Set Beveled Mirror. Brush, Milk Glass Cup on Adjustable Stand This is a wonderful antique shaving set with an adjustable, beveled glass mirror on a sturdy stand. The oval mirror is about 6” wide by 8” long, and the stand to the top of the mirror is 15” tall. The stand has metal rings that can be moved to different positions for convenience. The larger, lower ring holds a heavy, removable milk glass cup for shaving soap. This cup, in mint condition, is 2 3/8” tall by 3” in diameter at the rim, and has“Acme” in raised letters on the bottom. The natural bristle brush, which is 3.75” long in total, fits in the upper, smaller ring. It feels like the shaft of the brush is solid metal, and is plated with silver, which is significantly worn on the shaft, from contact with the metal ring, I am guessing. The end of the ... morebrush has a small mirror. The base of the stand is heavy and sturdy, with a felt pad on the bottom to protect your table(shown in last photo) I believe the base is also silver plate. It has some tiny speckles where the plate is bubbled or missing, shown in the photos. I think the back of the mirror, its rim, and the post and rims are nickel plate, and there are some speckles of missing plate on these areas as well. Because of this, I am not going to polish the set. This set dates to the late 1800s-early 1900s. There is a small ding on the back of the mirror, and some fine scratches. See photos. It is an antique shaving mirror. The shaving mirror is made of oak. It has Victorian styling. The shaving mirror weighs approx. 6 pounds and is 24" tall x 13 1/2" wide x 6 1/2" deep. Overall. It is in very good used condition. It shows wear and use. There is a small white stain just below the mirror. The bottom center back piece of wood is split. The silvering on the mirror has some flaking. There is a burn mark on the underside of the upper shelf which appears to be from a candle. It has great character and styling. Antique Vintage Silver Shaving Mirror Stand
Up for sale is an antique shaving mirror obtained from an estate sale. I believe it's made of silver. But I can find no markings to confirm this. However, it seems to have the properties of silver. Magnets are not attracted to the metal, and when buffed with baking soda and water black tarnish marks come off on the cleaning cloth. The stand is adjustable. I have not tried to adjust the height. But it has a screw for doing so. It currently stands about 18" tall. The mirror is about 5.5" in diameter, or 6.25" if you include the frame of the mirror. The base is 5.5" in diameter. The mirror rotates 360 degrees. I am throwing in a plastic cup and shaving brush. But they are by no means original to the mirror. They will do for display but are not accurate to the time period. For auction is an antique metal Victorian looking Shaving Mirror Stand with a Shaving Brush. The stand measures approx. 15 inches high and the base is approx. 5 1/2 inches in diameter. The metal base has a floral paisley design. The mirror is 6 inches in diameter. Is beveled and is in nice condition. It was hard to get a picture of the actual mirror face, as it is reflecting the color of the table top. The other side of the mirror is brown velvety material. It is a sturdy piece. The brush handle has internal cracking, but the exterior appears fine. It is an Admiral- Sterilized Bristles set in Rubber. The metal on the stand has some missing paint and there are areas that are rusted. It needs a cleaning and perhaps the rusted areas can be cleaned up. This has been stored on a shelf for many years. Antique Adjustable Beveled Mirror Shaving Mirror/Stand Tilts Cup Holder
Estimated 1895-1905. This shaving mirror and stand are in very good condition with some changes to the metal patina as demonstrated in the photos. It is very well made. The mirror moves up and down easily and the screw tightens to hold the mirror in place. There is a metal piece that holds the mirror at a certain tilt. The little cup is removable. There is a fine decorative edge on the front and back of the mirror. The mirror is beveled and very clear-just a few minor marks. The mirror measures 10 5/8" X 8 1/2" The base is 5 inches in diameter. 10 1/2 inches from the base to the screw and the metal piece that attaches to the mirror is 9 inches long.

The gilted shaving stand measures 14" tall and the base is 5" across. The brush hang's from the brush holder on the front of the gilted victorian shaving stand. The brush has a matching gilted victorian design and has an intial on the front. The gilted handle brush measures 4 1/4" long. The mirror in the 1800's Victorian gilted shaving stand has the original beveled mirror which has a few tiny mark's on the mirror. The milk glass insert is in great condition. I see no crack's or chip's. This is a wonderful over a hundred year Art Nouveau gilted Victorian shaving stand.

Antique Victorian Walnut Rococo Revival Style Shaving Stand With Mirror
This wonderful walnut shaving stand is in a Rococo revival style and was produced during the height of the Victorian period. It stands 70 inches to the top of the mirror. The case with the drawer is 17 inches across and 12 inches deep. The top of the case is 41 inches from the floor. The drawer is a nice dovetailed construction. The mirror moves front to back on a swivel. The mirror lifts out of the case and rests on a turned post. There is a split underneath the mirror on the seam. I believe it just needs to be tightened. Also. There are circle stain or water marks on top of the case. Otherwise the piece is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. All parts appear to be original.
