Vintage Shaw Walker Bookcase - Antique Danish Modern Cabinet Case Wood Glass
Beautiful vintage Shaw Walker bookcase. The piece is comprised of 5 stacked parts(4 shelves plus the cap at the top) which are held together by dowels. Making it easy to transport and reassemble, even for one person. The piece is in fair condition; the wood shows signs of light wear. One of the doors sags a little when slid into the frame, two of the pulls need repair, and a couple of the dowels that hold the levels together are missing. The number"2" has been marked on the inside of two of the shelves. Even unrestored it's a beautiful and functional vintage piece. With a little retouching it would be like new. Vintage Bookcase Blond Wood Mid Century Modern Shelf Foldable Stackable Office
Awesome bookcase/shelf for any room in your home. Awesome shelf- you will not be sorry to buy this! The sides are solid wood. The shelves are veneered and it is all beautiful. They've made recent reproductions of this shelf but I believe this is one of the good old originals. It is very well made and in very good condition. Some minor scuffs here and there but nothing serious. Overall measurement is: 27-3/4" wide by 28-3/4" tall. Shelves are 12-1/2" deep and so are the sides. The bookcase folds away as you can see in the picture- when folded it is 2-1/4" thick. Weighs about 25 lbs. unpacked. Great for an office. Sewing room or guest room.
