Simple but beautiful. This is an antique C-1910 Mission Arts& Crafts oak hall tree in great condition. I did lightly sand. Touch the spots with stain and put a coat of vanish on to freshen up the finish. The seat was cracked so that was glued, lightly sanded, and stained with a coat of varnish. The hardware is original, the mirror is original but with spotting and slightly foggy but it gives it a old look. The boards on the sides have gaps(look at the pictures) Sooo this is pretty original. ANTIQUE OAK HALL TREE- ARTS& CRAFTS- MISSION- BENCH BVL.MIRROR NR. Description: This is a NICE ANTIQUE OAK HALL TREE. From the early 1900s it still has it's original finish. There are 6 of the original coat hooks and the beveled mirror has NOT been resilvered. The hall tree is from the Arts& Crafts era. Early 1900s. in good original condition. The base does not have the lift up seat. The drip pan is not original, but works very well. The beveled mirror needs to be resilverd or replaced($45) Stands about 80 inches tall AND is 21 inches wide, not counting the umbrella holder. FREE Local pick up is best, or I am traveling from Portland Or. to Pheonix Az. in a week through Calif. VIA, L.A. so, If it would be on the way somehow, I could drop it off for $50, Otherwise email for freight costs.

Antique OAK? HALL TREE w/IRON HOOKS Mid Century Mission Wood Coat Hat Rack Antique/Vintage Oak? Wood Hall Tree/Coat Rack Handcrafted; stands approx. 72" tall. Features four iron double hooks-the kind that will hold a hat above and a coat below; these hooks were originally painted a gold-brass color but have aged to a distressed finish. The style is somewhat Mission/Arts& Crafts-very simple in design; it looks like oak wood. But I am no expert so I can't say for sure-please refer to photos to judge. Condition is pretty much as it appears in photos. It is old; as its handcrafted it is somewhat primitive and is unfinished on undersides that don't show. Which is typical with antiques; it shows normal vintage wear(some dings here and there and a few hairlines-one was behind a hook-see pics) but nothing too bad. Two of the"feet" ... moreare loose and one had a screw added to it on underside at some point but otherwise the feet were nailed on; buyer may wish to nail down the feet more as one popped off while I was taking it apart for packing and I popped it back on, but all that said, it looks good overall and is sturdy and stands fine. It has been taken apart to save on shipping costs. But will easily go back together using a screwdriver for the hooks and a pair of pliers or wrench to tighten the base bolt. A wonderful antique find and a practical storage piece as well- Ask questions if you have any-this item. NOTE: One of the steel hooks looks to have been replaced at some point in the past(SEE PHOTOS#7 and#8) The hook is exactly the same as the other three. But the"ware/patina" is not at the point of the other hooks. Other than that, there's just your typical 100 years of"general ware" I can not tell for certain what wood is used. Offered for sale is a very nice antique mission oak Arts and Cafts era hall tree or coat rack hat stand. It is a high quality. The hooks are orignal and are wrought iron. No broken or missing hooks. It stands around 74 inches tall and makes a 18.5 inch footprint at the bottom. It weighs around 13 pounds. It is in very good conditon. Some small abrasions. Chips, etc which I have shown in the pictures. There is some white paint rub on the top point, which should come of easily with some extra fine steel wool. In order to keep shipping costs dowm. the base will be disassembled from the pole. I will also remove the hooks as antique wrought iron tends to be brittle and removing the hooks will lessen the possiblity of breakage during shipment. As you can see in the pictures. The base is attached to the vertical pole with screws, so it should disassemble ... moreeasily. I will ship in two boxes-one box for the pole and the other box for the base, hardware, and hooks. Antique arts crafts mission hall tree coat rack ornate hooks beautiful
Included in this auction is a wonderful antique mission or arts and crafts coat rack hall tree in excellent condition. It measures about 72 1/2 inches tall and has a 23 inch base. There is some rust. Discoloration and corrosion on the metal hooks at the top that can be cleaned off. The finish has that alligator texture all over. There are a few areas of discoloration that are visible in the pictures. This coat rack features 4 beautiful. Ornate hooks on the top. The 2 lower hooks are more simple. There are small nails on 2 of the feet where they may have been repaired but I don't see any damage or reason for a repair. There are 4 separate wood pads for the feet. One of the pads has some termite damage. I would prefer local pickup only but I will take this to a professional packer if the buyer makes and pays for all the arrangements. Antique/Vintage Mission~Arts & Craft Styled~Medium Oak~Wooden Hall Tree
You are looking at a Wonderfully Detailed Arts& Craft/ Mission Style Wooden Hall Tree. This fabulous Hall Tree is 5'5" tall and 22 inches wide at the base& is structurally in excellent condition. There are four brass or bronze hooks- one on each of the four sides. Each hook has two parts. So technically there are eight places to hang your hats. Umbrellas, or coats. The larger hooks are quite detailed in the Arts and Crafts design style. Just below the hooks are two areas having knots in the wood- where branches had once been a part of the tree this wood came from. I have taken pictures of these areas please look at them carefully. The finish at the top of the piece is showing some mottling of the stain. At the base there is some chipping or rubbing of the stain and the original wood color is showing through.
