Victorian floor standing oak hall tree with fancy iron hooks
Offered is a wonderful antique Victorian floor model tall hall tree in oak. With 4 fancy hooks at the top, 4 smaller arms 1/3 way down, the pole is ribbed from top to bottom, the base has ball shaped feet. It has acquired a wonderful warm patina from age to the wood. The only fault found is a small area where a cat sharpened its claws near the bottom area(see last photo) This must be picked up. I will not ship it. All emails answered ASAP. Antique Victorian Painters Easel
This is a very unusual and unique painters easel. It is a cross between stick and ball and wicker in the design areas and nicely turned oak I believe for the frame. It has holes to move the painting up 2 different heights. It is about 4.5 feet high. It is solid and unbroken but does need refinished if you want it perfect. Personally I think it is fine as is because it gives it character.

Tiger Oak Double Wide Hotel Hall Tree from the 1890's. This double wide hall tree came right out of a Hotel in Salem. IL, about 20 years ago when the hotel was sold off. The hall tree is quater sawn tiger oak built around 1890. Everything, I believe, is original including the hooks and umbrella stand. The hall tree is 7' 1/2" tall X 4 feet wide X 16 and 1/2" deep. French cut beveled mirror, umbrella stand, quarter sawn oak, storage in the seat, hooks and all hardware original, it has been stripped and refinished at one time. 20 years ago this was worth around $3,600.00. An antique hanging Hall Tree. Circa late 1800s-early 1900s. Made of metal. It has an original black& copper flashed surface finish. On one long side and outside edge. Measures 66 1/4" high; the base legs are 23" across or 16" measured squared. The top has 5 of the 6 oak posts. 1 post is missing but should be easy to improvise a replacement. Magnificent Antique Victorian Hallstand hall rack LOOK!
Wow. This is probably the most unusual Victorian hall rack you will ever see. This was probably custom made and one of a kind. Looks like it was made in England but thats just a guess. Made of heavy walnut with marble shelf. This rack will accommodate coats on the two end coat racks with revolving hooks, hats, gloves, and umbrellas. It does it all. I purchased this years ago and its time for it do go. Just don't have the room anymore. It stands 89 inches tall WITHOUT the top finial. With the top finial its 101 inches tall. The widest point is the bottom at 5 feet across. Its not quite flawless as the is a chip in the marble as seen in the photo, and there are minor differences in the large finials. Looks like the small ball finial is missing on a few of the large finials as shown in the photos. In general its a solid 9 out of 10 as far ... moreas condition. Its incredibly made which accounts for its heavy weight. Again, this is why I think its english as its overbuilt. Has two tall coat racks on the ends as shown and they are still intact. Buyer MUST pick up or make proper arrangements to pick this up as its heavy and cumbersome. Pleas do not bid on this and expect me to make arrangements to ship it, I have sold many large objects and have had problems with people picking them up. Antique Victorian Solid Oak Framed Oval Beveled Mirrored Wall Hall Hat Rack Tree
This is a fantastic original Victorian mirrored hat rack with heavy solid oak frame and beveled oval mirror in the center. It is in very good condition overall. But the large curvy arms on the top two hooks have been removed, leaving just the two smaller hooks on each side of the top. They are fully functional and still attractive as-is, and unless closely inspected, look like they were made that way. All four hooks are intact on both sides of the bottom. The oak frame has a rich dark color and bold grain. All joints are tight and the frame is solid and sturdy. The mirror has some light streakiness and cloudiness, but images still look clear throughout. There is an area of missing silver(shown in the photos) where a piece of the original wood back panel is missing and the silver got scraped off. Carved Walnut Figural Victorian Egret & Dolphin Pedestal Plant Stand
For your consideration is this carved walnut figural Victorian pedestal stand. It measures just over 26" tall with the base at 10" in diameter and the top at 8" in diameter. It features a very elaborate design that includes a carved full bodied bird. An egret I believe, with it's talons holding a fish which does resemble a dolphin. It's all solid walnut and likely dates to the late 19th century, 1890 to possibly 1910 or so. The round dished top could hold a plant or a variety of decorative objects for display purposes. Calling cards were popular in the day and this could be a stand that received those. However it is used today, it would make quite an impact in a variety of interior settings. Antique folk art oak turtle base plant stand ashtray fern stand accent table
Up for auction is a great antique folk art oak plant stand with hand carved turtle base. This is cool!A bit hard to age.I'd guess from 1880's-1920's. It is approx. 26" tall. 9" x 9" across the top and 9" x 10" at the base. The post is lathe turned with carved details. The top is attached w/ an old flat head screw. There is a slight crack and a couple rings. The finish is original and alligatored with age. There are a couple fissures in the post but this is quite sturdy.not for sitting on but it definitally could hold a plant or whatnot. There is a stamped antique store name on the bottom( the place I found it) This could add a bit of folk art flavor to many decors. Most things we sell are vintage and used and will show some wear. Small Oak Antigue Hall Stand
This is a sweet hall stand perfect for an entry or exit. It was handed down to me 35 years ago and has said hello and goodbye to us since then. Holding our keys and umbrellas in style. From the curlique carving we are guessing it is Victorian. A wonderful Victorian"Etagere" or curio display from the 1860's has a marble shelf and a three dimensional crest with fruit and clusters of grapes. Solid walnut. The old finish is in very beautiful condition, waxed and buffed so that all that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. There are shrinkage separations for antique character on this American made furniture. A curved drawer has hand cut dovetail joints and a chamfered bottom. The marble has been polished and sealed to resist stains. Mirrors have a little"smoke" to show their age. One has a hairline crack at the edge, see photos. Early 1790- 1810 Sheraton Solid Mahogany Wash Stand This Piece has Beautiful Simple Form& 2) Candle Shelves on the backsplash 1- Lower Draw& 3 Cutouts. One for a washbasin& 2 for toiletries This piece comes with it’s Original Top Shelf Cover Virtually Never Seen. The top shelf cover was put back on once the servants took away the basin n’ bits. In finer homes with servants. The basins and“other bits” were removed and most likely stored in the kitchen for ease in filling with hot water again. This allowed the piece to be multi-functional. This piece was probably used in a guest bedroom which saved the removable top from damage/destruction. I believe this is the original finish because I see no stain drips. The color is a soft warm mahogany and wonderful to look at. The draw is not nailed but dovetail/glue joined. The draw moves ... moreeasily and the piece is STRUCTURALLY VERY SOUND. This rare Victorian shaving stand was owned by a collector for many years. It is constructed mainly of walnut. But is also made with other various species of wood. Great applied scrolled and ball detail with downturned finials on the top. The stand also has a lid that opens to store toiletries. It is in what I consider mint condition. However there are two very minute cracks in the wood at the top and bottom of the mirror(last two photos) that are not noticeable unless scrutinized up close, but I have to mention. Great pole style fire screen from the Victorian era. Circa 1870. Well made and substantial base supports a pole with adjustable screen. The screen itself is made of a wood frame covered in fabric with applied beadwork. Beadwork is a rarity in itself and a list art. The screen itself is in nice condition but has some losses. Antique Victorian Carved Walnut w/Marble Top Hall Tree
Purchased in the late 1990s from the Strasburg Emporium antique shop in Shenandoah valley in Virginia. Appears original finish from 1870s(a bit of a guess as no provenance was included with this piece) with nice patina. Beautiful chocolate marble top over single drawer. I tried to show the condition, which is overall good, there is some wear and tear as well as some separation at some joints due to shrinkage/drying. There appear to be two missing hat hooks, and the hall tree does not stand on its own in a very stable way, so I have a picture wire and a picture hook in the wall for extra stability. Other than that The piece is as I purchased it, a nice Victorian accent piece ready for your period home or shop display. This sewing stand is 29" high. 13" in width. It has 3 legs with two tiers, the larger being on the bottom. On the upper tier, one of the 3 spaces between the legs, the pressed leather look is missing so it needs to be against a window or wall so you don't see it. very rare antique stick and ball oak magazine stand or rack folds up for storage
for auction is a hard to find antique magazine rack or stand. antique magazine stands just don't come along very often. at any rate. This is a neat one. oak stick and ball. it has the original finish, brass rings, perfect antique condition. there are no loose joints, no missing parts. it is very sturdy and ready to use. when open for use it is 40 inches tall, 13.5 inches deep, and 19.5 inches wide. the diagonal braces on the sides are pegged on and come off with little effort. this allows the magazine rack to fold up for storage. when folded up it is 52.5 inches tall. and just 2 or 3 inches thick, so it can be put under a bed or behind a door or whatever for storage. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. it can go ups, usps, or fedex to list a few avenues of delivery.

Up for auction is an absolutely gorgeous antique 1800's High End Eastlake mahogany halltree marked M&N Schrenkeison. New York. This halltree is heavily pierce carved in thick solid mahogany. There are also wonderful spoon carved details in burl walnut and around the piece. Heavy cast iron umbrella cups sit at the bottom in beveled edge carved trays. The hat or gloves top is high end gray speckled marble that looks original. There are six spool carved coat hooks and a beautiful beveled glass mirror in excellent condition.
