This 1890 era hall stand with mirror and umbrella and cane holder is solid walnut, and would be beautiful in a dressing area as well. Three dimensional sculptures of heads. Raised and"linenfold" panels are masterfully hand carved. The old finish is in extremely fine condition, waxed and buffed so that all it needs to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. An original shaped and beveled mirror has antique"smoke" to show its age. There is a tin pan to catch drips from umbrellas. for sale a very nice mahogany pedestal with great griffin heads( 4 of them) at the top and great claw feet at the bottom. i don't know who made this piece. Possibly horner, it has great form and nice acanthus carving at the bottom coming up and acanthus carving below the griffin heads at the top. the heads are large and deep. it has a shaped layered top. the top itself shows some water and use areas. should someone want that redone i would be glad to do it before i send it. it doesn't bother me as i have marble piece made for the top. it is 15 inches square at the bottom and tapers upwards to the top platform which is somewhat over 13.5 inch diameter. it stands 38.5 inches tall without the marble, 39.5 with the marble. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. good luck. it can more than likely go via postal ... moreservice. Here's a FANTASTIC antique hall tree/ coat rack/ seat bench from the late Victorian or early Edwardian period. I'd say it was made c1890s to c1910. It's in EXCELLENT condition with it's original hardware. Finish and handsome beveled class mirror. The seat lifts for a storage area, however the bottom section within is mission and can easily be replaced for resumed use and not be at all visible either way unless one lifts up the seat. If this were for sale at an antiques store it would easily be priced over $450 to $550 and is worth every bit of that. It came from an old New England home. ANTIQUE EAST LAKE VICTORIAN ERA SOLID WALNUT HALL TREE WITH HALF TABLE, Up for bid is this lovely Antique Walnut Victorian Eastlake Hall Tree with small half table. This Hall Tree has been on our back porch for years. Needs some cleaning and possibly waxing. We're not taking the time to detail many of our items these days. We're selling as is with a complete description of the item. You can feel confident that we'll do our best to show you the good and the not so good on any items we have. Since we are moving, we're taking less and less time to make everything perfect, as we usually try to do. This Hall Tree stands 6' 6 3/4" Tall. 44" across at the widest part, which is the molding across the top. There are no cracks or breaks in the mirrors. The little table below stands 24" Tall by 26" wide and 14" ... moredeep. The table is not original to the Hall Tree but we used it that way for years. The table is also walnut and matches nicely. The wood on both pieces is strong and doesn't have any cracks or odors as some old furniture can have. There are 4 coat hooks that all match in un-polished brass. There are 2 hat hooks on top that are not original to the piece. Those are polished brass. Originally this would have had 4 hat hooks but there are only the 2 and we're selling it this way. They will need round bases and similar hooks can be found on many restoration websites. We did not invest in replacing them. Because some people are into woodworking or refinishing. We did not clean or wax this piece. If someone wants to strip, wax or paint this item, we didn't want to make it harder to do after you buy it. I was lazy in my picture taking and cleaning. We're a bit overwhelmed in this regard so we're hoping you see the gem in this and bid accordingly. We'll start this at a much lower price than usually sold so you can get a great deal. Just removed from New York City Estate. We have a pleasure to offer you this beautiful extra large antique French 19th century leather top desk. The piece is more than impressive, in size, style and quality of work! Entire top surface is covered with brown leather. Edged with gold tooled"Greek Key" motif(beautiful, please see the photos) Leather is"framed" in with a beautiful dore bronze mounts. Front of the desk has three drawers, one large in the middle, flanked with two smaller ones on each side. Each drawer has it's own antique functioning lock. Drawers are dovetailed beautifully, in the front and in the back. Secondary wood is the high quality mahogany, stained and polished(originally) Back of the desk looks the same way as the front, just featuring faux drawers. Beautiful soft light colored wood is done in"herring ... morebone" style, then covered with bronze. Bronze mounts line all the edges of the desk. Stands on four stylishly curved legs, bottom of which is inside of immense shoe, while the upper"knee" part features a lovely bronze bust of French Madame with her hair in the bun, coming out of a classical scroll shell. Each corner has the same bust. Piece is larger than usual, and it has a spectacular appearance, as the photos will attest. The desk is in good condition. Minor wear on the leather from use, it was taken care of very well by the previous owners. Size is large 71" wide, 34" deep, and 31" in height. Up for auction is a beautiful and original condition antique late 1800's large scale Victorian hall tree in gorgeous tiger oak. This piece is from the same estate as the large armoire I am currently listing and is in the same pristine original condition. Great large piece or a large Victorian. This would be a wonderful parlor piece. Very ornate with detail carved moldings and beautiful original beveled glass. This glass is curved on all sides creating a wonderful shape framed with curved oak molding. The large bench seat opens for storage and would look incredible with a bench seat made to coordinate with the colors of your room. Measures 84" tall x 41" wide to the edge of the umbrella holder x 18" deep. Nice original matching cast iron coat hooks with scaled serpents or vine shapes. Incredible Original Antique Fancy Victorian Bamboo Lamp/plant Stand With Oak Top
I just searched all sold and unsold antique bamboo and oak tables stands on ebay and this is the only one like it! This is a superb strong. And original stand in all original finish. Doesn't matter what type of home or furnishings you have, this table will fit right in! Legs, supports, and trim around edges of bottom shelf and top is all beautiful bamboo. No breaks or repairs to be found. The shelf and top is a solid oak in original finish. This really is a beauty! Measures 19" square and stands 29" tall. It is not pictured but I also dug it out of a local estate with a sheet of glass all cut out for the top. Again, also in excellent condition. Antique Victorian Etegere Display Shelf Cabinet
This is a beautiful Victorian Etegere. Used for displaying collectibles. It stands 61 1/2" tall, 12" deep and 30" wide. The piece is old, I would guess late 1880's. It has some cracking and missing pieces of veneer, but in no way distracts from the piece. The mirrors are original and a little cloudy and the backing is also original. There is an enclosed cabinet in the center with a slightly curved piece of glass. Local pick-up only to my address in Apache Junction, AZ. 85120. Large Antique French Gilt Wood Stand Plant / Torchiere 19th C distressed pnt 51"
Up for consideration is an exceptional French Louis XVI late 19th century Torchiere/ Plant Stand/ Stand. The piece measures 51" inches tall by about 18 inches across the base with an opening at the top of 8 inches. These stands could be used for a few functions. With a piece of Marble on the top they were used as a stand for a lamp. or object of Art. with the top removed a plant stand. The piece was gilt and Green accents however since then it has been layered with 4 or 5 layers of paint which displays well in a the Paris Apartment or those who enjoy the Chippy Distressed paint look. Please note this is a piece that was made probably in France in around the turn of the Century. It is heavy and well made. It has a tripodal type form base with carved wooden garland floral swags at the top of each leg. You cant fake this sort of finish ... moreeven if you tried. Antique dark wood Hall Tree- Georgous!!
Georgous piece! No longer have room for my large treasures. I bought this at a high end antique store in East Point GA about 41 years ago. My guess is it's from the 1800's. The carved panels are from rough sawn wood as you can see from teh photo of the back. I am no expert but I believe it to be the original finish. I have only waxed it over the years. It is three pieces; the crown. Mirror back, and base. It is in very good condition. The floor of the base has a line/crack which I think can be easily repaired and does not detract from the overall appearence. There is also one water spot in that area. Again it is in overall beautiful condition, but it is very old so it shows. Note there are openings in the bottom where an unbrella could drip without hitting the wood. I believe there were possibly metal pans there originally to catch ... morethe water. The measurements are 88 1/4" high. 48" wide, and 21 1/2" deep. If you look close you can see a hidden compartment on the right side of the drawer. I have moved rosette cover in photo to show. I am happy to take any additional photos you might want to see. Antique Vicotrian Walnut Quilt Rack, Made with Square Nails.Excellent Condition
This Victorian Walnut Quilt Rack is in absolutely excellent condition I am unsure of it's age but I believe it is very early. The nails( t he only nails that I can see) on the bottom of the feet have square Heads. That would put it from 1850 or earlier. It does however have similarities to east lake so that would put it closer to 1880. Bottom line is. I just don't know how old it is. There are no chips. Or breaks, and considering it is solid walnut, there are just a couple of small scratches. This really is a wonderful piece! Low starting price and no reserve.

THis is an Estate Sale find that was sold to me as a Victorian walnut piece. It looks to have it's original finish. There are some scratches and a water stain on the top. It seems sturdy with no broken or loose pieces. It would look awesome with a nice fern on top or whatever else you can imagine. It is app. 31" tall x(15 1/2" long and 11 1/2" wide on the top piece.

This Vintage Kent Hand Crank Knife Sharpener/Cleaner was found at an estate sale and is in very good condition. Considering its age. It was invented in the late 1880's, by a fellow named George Kent from London. England. The Sharpener is very unique as it utilizes grinding powder. Grinding stones, and brushes to simultaneously, sharpen and clean knife blades. It also has 3 Brass Slots to accommodate different size knives. It has an Oak Wood round Body with very nice Brass and Iron Details, also a Brass Nameplate and a Paper Label with Detailed Instructions. Two side panel prints are decorated with hanging dead game birds Woodcock. Quail, and Dove Scene on one side and Rabbit and Grouse Scene on the other side. The dead game prints both show some water damage at the bottom edge. There is a lot of damage to the wooden frame such as many marks, scratches, abrasions, scuffs, cuts, stains, and very small dry wood cracks and chips. It still retains the original hangers but a few of the screws holding them on have been replaced. The inside middle panel section is a mirror with no cracks and no chips but it does have discoloration. The left side panel section of the 3 birds has clear glass covering it with no cracks and no chips but the right side panel section is missing the glass. great antique walnut renaissance victorian hall tree original finish/ drip pans
for sale is just a great antique walnut renaissance era or early victorian hall tree. it is in near mint condition save one small blemish above the right middle foot. it is about the size of a dime and that deep. it never bothered me. i could fill it and stain it and you would never know the difference. But i have left it as is. if someone desires that to be done i can do that free of charge. it comes in original finish. i did clean it with new life. in picture 11 you can see where i had cleaned one hook and the three on either side had not been cleaned. it is quite stunning in person but the pictures do not do it justice. it has all the original finials, hooks, and buttons. nothing missing or gone as far as i know. it has some very nice carving here and there as you can see in the pictures. it has a great renaissance crest with a very nice ... morelarge and detailed center finial. it has the original cast iron drip pans as far as i know and the marble appears to be original. the mirror is clear and in very good condition. perhaps it has been replaced at one time, but not by me. the back of the hall tree has its original mirror backing board. it is 35 inches wide and just a tick over 88 inches tall. it is as solid as a rock, no loose parts or wiggles anywhere. the drawer has a nice carved pull and has hand cut dovetail joints and a chamfered bottom indicative that it is a very early piece. i have no doubt i have left something out of the description so any questions please ask. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. it cost 3000 about 12 years ago, i am starting it for a lot less. good luck

Metal & Marble Vintage Victorian Fern Stand Patina Romantic Shabby Cottage Chic
f you like the look of objects with patina and a past. Here's a find for you. Available is a vintage antique Victorian fern stand. If a darkened patina is what you are after, this fern stand certainly has it. Some may wish to polish the metal. I like the way it looks darkened from time. It's a true object from the past. I believe the metal is brass, but I am not sure. It measures 30 inches tall. The metal top is 13 inches square, the marble piece is 8 inches square. The legs do not go straight down, they flare out a bit. They make a 16 inch square. I don't know the exact year this was made, or the maker. I am listing it as a fern stand. You can put any sort of plant on this if you can't grow a fern. It will be our little secret! This is just a wee bit wobbly. Nothing a fast tightening with a screwdriver didn't fix. It's ... morea wonderful find regardless. Hey, I'm old and a bit wobbly, and I like to think I'm nice to have around! Sigh. I just wish I could fix my health problems with a screwdriver! The piece has an ebonized top, with bronze mounts throughout. The upper portion is finely inlaid, and the piece is hand-carved. It stands 34" tall, and the top is 13" in diameter. The piece has its original brass liner, with a tin support underneath. The piece can easily converted to hold a champagne bottle, etc. The piece is in excellent condition. However, the lower tin support is has partiallt separated from piece, as shown. It does not show, or affect the support of the brass liner.
