It has 3 hidden compartments and lots of pigeon holes and small drawers. It comes with the keys for the upper hutch. The fold down desk and the small door inside but not the drawers below. It has the original glass, which is wavy and has bubbles in it, in both panels on the left side but not on the right side. One pane is missing on the right side but would be easy enough to replace. Lots of character on this gorgeous old piece. It measures 81 inches high, 47 inches wide and is 23-1/2 inches deep at the bottom. It comes apart in two pieces so the bottom part is 41-1/2 inches high, 47 wide and 23-1/2 deep and the top part is 39-1/2 inches high, 47 inches wide and 12 inches deep. Vintage Newbery Electric Corporation Los Angeles desk calendar, est. 1903
Here is a great vintage Newbery of Los Angeles Electric Corporation perpetual/ mechanical desk calendar. You spin the disks on the base to change the day and month and you turn the date over by rotating it and the next date appears. It is very well made because the numbers are made of metal and not plastic or paper. Measures 3.5" tall and the circular base is 3.5" wide. Please review all pictures. It does have some corrosion issues but is still a great vintage and historical piece! Happy bidding.

However, make sure that your land line service can support rotary service, as many now a days do not. It does have slight fading around the edge where the handset meets that cradle. One really needs to look at it closely to see it. All cords. And parts are original. It does have the original 5 lug wires for connection. Vintage AE Co. Automatic Electric Rotary Dial Phone Cream Desk Telephone Works! This is a fully functioning phone. The color is cream. The cord has no kinks. The dial shows some use wear. But the triangles pointing to the numbers are very clear. There is a spot in the plastic ring at the#3. I say a spot, because it does not feel like a crack. There is a nick on the very bottom of the phone on the inside edge so it is not noticeable unless you turn the phone upside down. There is a"Loud" switch to make the ring softer or louder. Numbers on the bottom read: 9 72 19& NC802190SXX(I think as a couple are hard to read) Has the 4 feet to safely sit it on a desk or table. Very nice phone considering the age. On the dial you will find the makers name"MAUTHE" as well as and the text"Made in GERMANY" This alarm clock has a nice. Quiet ticking without being very present. The number marks are thick. Layed ON the dial, are beautifully shaped and they have been given that typical German Quality style. The Hands are glowing in the dark. There is an extra hand to set the alarm. The movement and the alarm are functioning 100% At the rear you find one handle to wind the alarm and the time at the same time. Also there is a lever on the rear of the clock to stop the alarm when it goes off. Of course there are 2 buttons to change the alarm time and the actual time.
