Large form made ... moreof walnut with flat top surface. Exposed. Full length tapered legs, with spacers that set it of the desk surface. Five drawers, and one sliding writing plank. Finished on the interior knee hole surface with chrome hardware. The back is finished with chrome splines in between panels. Early Knoll label on the underside of desk. The top drawers have very small locks. No keys, but the drawers open just fine. Some wear to top, but overall very good condition. Size& Condition. Size: 72" w x 32" d x 29" t. Condition: In overall very good condition. Some wear to the top with a couple of deep scratches. And lighter ones throughout. Dating from the 1890s era. It is in complete restored condition and all set to go in the home. We take a lot of pride in doing up our antiques nicely, and we certainly went all out here, with our head refinisher Norm doing a job of unbelievable quality on this desk. It has a tiger sawn writing surface in the center, which had to be glued back down as most desks of this age. We also had to re-glue everything, reinforce the roll, sand, strip, stain, and apply multiple coats of sealer and satin sheen lacquer on this hard-to-find 66-inch-wide roll-top desk by the Derby Desk Company of Boston, Mass. Probably c. 1910-30 Item# 130008GQJ26 Crafted during the first years of the ... more20th Century. When fervor for antiques of the Louis XV taste were still at a remarkable high, this very attractive French Louis XV Bureau Plat was embellished with great effort. Featuring a solid mahogany top with a molded edge, the front of the bureau plat has a long hand dovetailed drawer for storage, opening to reveal a solid golden oak interior. The keyhole escutcheon is probably the finest bronze mount on the desk, a piece that prominently features the rocaille movement around the fully functioning key and lock. The apron is shapely, the front and back mirroring the flow of the top with a slight inversion in the middle. The cabriole legs are formed with very fine gate, the tapering form nearly perfect in proportion to the table, each surmounted with an intense rocaille Gilt bronze mount with the"C" form featured actively as it curls over the entire knee- a thin reed of gilt bronze continues to flow down the leg into the beautiful Gilt bronze sabot mounts with curling toes. This is a fully functional piece. Not just being a beautiful decorative art, the form being sturdy and strong throughout with a clean writing surface. For decorators passionate about the French Louis XV form, this is a wonderful find. Measurements: 39 1/2" wide x 23 7/8" deep x 29 1/4" high to top of desk; 24 1/8" high to underside of drawer(when sitting) Condition Report: Light dings and chips throughout. If you collect vintage computers you will want to have this ultra rare piece of microcomputer history. This is a complete“factory-assembled” museum-quality” MITS ALTAIR 8800B microcomputer system. The 8800B computer and two floppy disk drives are rack mounted in a matching MITS-blue pedestal base of a large. Substantial, steel desk. This machine starts up and the lights blink. When the machine was retired, it was fully functional. Because time may have taken its toll on the machine, I can not guarantee full functionality. But, a working power supply and blinking lights seems to be an indication that the machine may still function. The MITS ALTAIR 8800 is considered to be the first successful personal computer. In early 1975 the MITS was the first mass produced personal computer that a private person could afford. This microcomputer. Vintage French Fleur de lis Yellow Toleware Tole Ware Country Desk Lamp-$85/$100
I combine purchases. I dont find any makers mark. Tried to show you true color in lamp. Definite mustard yellow with black fleur de lis and black accents. The shade is perfect inside as seen in photo with a few light scratches on the outside(very minimal) The shade itself measures about 12 inches across x 5 3/4 tall. Has one pin to hold the white glass shade and is Im pretty sure for a three way bulb. In great shape for age. Very minimal wear of black basicaly in one part that I see. Whole thing measures about 28 inches tall at the loop x 18. On the bottom is a metal plate that does have some rust but it doesnt affect the lamp. The shade is meant to fit perfectly on the white glass shade so it doesnt move. I dont know if it would hold a glass chimney or not but it doesnt look like it was intended for that. Old industrial articulated work Light. Original working lamp from France. The make is Lumina(embossed on the mid knuckle) Probably made in 50/60s. Clamps to table edge with large bakelite knurled knob(widest adjustment approx 47mm) Two arms measure from joint to knurled adjusters 11" bottom) 12.75" top arm) Loosening the adjusters enables the internal sections to be extended or the arm swivelled. Movable knuckle joints have adjusting nuts for tightening Lamp end swivels on two ball joints which can be tightened. Currently used with a commonly available 40W screw fit spotlight which works very well. Has unusual"junction box" base with built in rocker switch. This box has a back plate secured with a small screw. Which can be removed to access the wiring. The Original Paintwork is pretty good for its age- an attractive industrial ... morehammerite olive green. This is an old lamp and shows wear commensurate with its age. So there are marks and a few dings as one would expect. I rewired it myself some years ago. And have had no probs- but am no electrician, Obviously would advise to check. A really attractive light. An unusual design and a real practical classic.

VINTAGE SCHOOL DESK Made by H.W. Eclipse/Heywood. Age unknown. Desk is in parts. Not sure if it is complete but they are all from the same desk. Check pictures carefully. Cast iron base is broken on one side. See photo. Wooden desk top measures 21x13 1/2. Desktop has an ink hole. Seat measures 12x15. These wooden parts have a beautiful patina with plenty of character. American Seating Company Student School Desk. Exact vintage unknown. Best guess would be 1960`s. Maybe late 50`s. Very good shape. Desktop itself has bare minimum of scratches or graffitti. In fact the only graffitti I see on this is on the underside of the desktop. This one still has it`s original paintjob showing. The desktop has 2 pencil holders. One on the top edge. Picture# 9) One on the bottom as well. Picture# 8) There is also a bracket or dog if you will that can be folded down to make the normally slanting top level. See picture# 6. It`s folded down there. This is an adjustable model. You can lower or raise the desktop about 10 inches and the seat about 5- 6. This is accomplished by loosening a coupling underneath the desktop or seat. Raising or lowering it to desired position and then tightenting down the coupling. The couplings ... moreare identical. See the last picture. You need an open ended adjustable wrench to work it. Or an open ended 9/16 wrench. Either one. It`s easy. In addition seat swivels independently of how it`s adjusted. It`s mounted on a plate that swivels back and forth, letting you in and out easily. Also the middle slat in the backrest pivots up and down fore additional comfort. Measurements. Desk base. Apprx. 30 x 20 1/2 inches. Desktop. Apprx. 24 inches from side to side and 18 1/2 inches from front edge to backedge. This desk is pictured with the desktop at it`s minimum height. In this position the front edge of the desktop is at 25 inches high. It tapers down to 23 inches at the backedge. As I mentioned before this can be adjusted upwords from here about 10 inches maximum. These great vintage bookends by Enesco are in the style of antique school desks and are made of wood and cast iron. Little red& green painted wooden books titled. Writing, Reading, Arithmetic& History" are attached to the desk backs. The books. Base and desk tops are made of wood and the desk legs are made of ornamental cast iron. The desk tops are inscribed with"School Daze, tic-tac-toe, and little heart markings. They each have a little black ink bottle, an apple is on the right bookend on the top surface. Vintage Industrial Adjustable Arm Desk Task Lamp Light Wall Sconce
For your consideration is this vintage adjustable arm lamp. It stands 81/2" tall in it's straight up and down position. But also moves to position as pictured. The socket and shade pivot as well, all adjustment mechanisms move easily and hold in place well. Note flip out hanger in photo#8, readily available, to easily hang as a task light or wall sconce. The light is made of steel, with some rust and great old patina, it has been brushed and a clear coat applied to add luster and protect the lamp. The socket is a Leviton socket with a good working clicker switch and it has been rewired with black twisted cotton reproduction cord and plug. It looks like it had a spring clip also, but the spring does not seem to be working. There is a hole on the front of the base and some very light scratches in the metal base. Neither the base or ... moreshade have dents, this is a very sturdy light, not made of thin tin. I own a recording studio in Paris. With lot of nice vintage gear. I bought a coronado in the US five years ago. I loved having And working on that console but today i need to sell it. It is an In-line 36 channels Quad eight Coronado. Actually it is now a 35 channels(1 will never work again but included in the sell) I'm still working everyday on the desk.Tracking and mixing. It is in very good condition. A tech from funky junk Paris takes care of it reguraly. The console Will go to his lab before the sell for a total check. You'll get it for sure in a very good working condition. Of course it is an old desk(1976) problems can always hapen but you won't be dissapointed. Original patch bay in included with the desk. And has no issues. Power supply is new and built with best components. it is a 3u size. there are 4 sends. And 2 cue, ... morethat can become sends on mixdown. There are six groups but we decided to bypass them. You could reconnect them if you wish. You can see there are two channels missing on the pictures. One is dead for ever but still can be insert inside the frame so you'll have no hole, and the other is ok, just gone for maintenace. We've made a mahogany custom work on the back of the desk. And with all the vu meters it just looks amazing. If you the know the Pacifica A-design's pre you'll prefer the original coronado pre. I personnaly prefer it. We got a lot of AM-10 spares in case of maintenance. VINTAGE TOLEWARE Table Desk LAMP Tole Ware French Bouillotte Style Painted Metal Offered for sale is this very nice quality vintage toleware lamp. It is black with gold paint on both the shade and base. The inside of the shade is a painted a cream or light tan color. It is working but should be rewired for safety's sake for use in your home. SIZE: The lamp measures approximately 19.5 inches to the top of the finial. The shade is 11.75 inches wide at the widest point. CONDITION: The condition is excellent- there are no dings or dents to the metal. The inside of the shade has some minor crackling to the light colored paint. There is some age discoloration to the"candlesticks" that the light bulbs sit upon and some on the inside of the shade. I did not attempt to remove the few TINY white specks of paint that got on the lamp a ... morelong time ago as it sat in a room that was repainted(you can see them in the close-up pictures of the base) They could be cleaned off if they bother you but I did not find them distracting so I did not try.
