The stool is adjustable up and down for different heights and the seat swivels back and forth. The stool measures about 35 1/2 inches high by 18 inches deep. by 17 1/2 inches from the seat down. It measures from 19" to 22" tall and the seat has a diameter of 14 1/4" This stool has normal wear from age. A few scratches on the seat and a knick on one leg as pictured but overall it is in good condition. We pruchased the piano one year ago; it is played regularly and it was dealer reconditioned before we took delivery. It plays and sounds fantastic. Viewing recommended, come over and try it out. The piano is on the ground floor and there is only one step for easy removal. Reconditioning information: The action was fully overhauled with new loops. Leathers and refaced hammers. Strings were checked and replaced if necessary. The pin block and soundboard were checked for flaws. The cabinet and bright work were fully polished. Thank you for looking into our auction of this ANTIQUE HOLTZMAN AND SONS PIANO STOOL WITH CLAW AND BALL FEET. This is a used stool. So it does have usage mark on it, especially on the seat. There are small holes all around the side of the seat. As I understand from the person who owned this stool and gave it to us years ago as a gift, it was common in the Victorian era to cover these stools and have a heavy fringe or tassels hanging down from the seat of the stool. We took that fringe off the stool, because it was really in bad shape, and that left these tack holes. You don't really notice those holes, unless you are looking for them or looking closely at the edge of the seat. Besides those holes, there are also some other scratches and scrapes on the seat. The seat turns on a screw to allow you to adjust the stool to your special height. ... moreThe seat is approximately 1-1/2 inches thick, but it consists of a finished top nailed onto a solid wood bottom. Those two parts of the seat have begun to separate, but that hasn't caused any problems with using the stool, and the seat can probably be better joined together, if you have a desire to do that. The legs of the stool have been painted a light green color, and, as should be expected from a piece this old, there are some places where the paint has come off the legs. Other than the paint problem, the legs are still in fine condition and the are sturdy. The ends of the legs are covered with fancy metal, probably brass,which holds a glass ball that rests on the floor. The stool is still sturdy, and you wouldn't need to fear using it. The stool stands approximately 16 inches high, not including the seat. The seat adds another 1-1/2 inches to the height. With the seat screwed the whole way up, the stool is about 24 inches high. I have for sale a beautiful 100+ year old anitque piano stool. This was my great grandmother's and I was told it was an antique when she got it 114 years ago. I'm no appraiser. And don't deal in antiques. The stool is complete, and functions perfectly. Appears to be all original right down to the brass and crystal claw style feet. This stool is really nice. From what I've learned, the company started making piano/organ stools in the late 1800's thru the early 1900's. It swivels up and down. At its' lowest height it measures 19 1/2" tall.14 1/2" wide(seat top) IF you screw the height up it measures at LEAST 24" It's NOT perfect.looks like it had a split to the bottom that was repaired AND it looks like one spindle was re-glued and re-nailed at some point. For your consideration is an absolutely beautiful piano stool in its original painted finish. This rare stool still bears the original paper label reading"BRIGGS PATENT PORTABLE STOOL- THE BEST FOR THE BEST PRICE IN THE MARKET- TRADE MARK- FACTORY PETERBOROUGH. N.H. The cast iron threaded seat support is embossed" J. BRIGGS PATENT PETERSBOROUGH N.H. PIANO STOOL WARRANTED OCT. 23,1866 DEC. 10, 1867" The stool is very solid and adjust in height from 19 1/2" 25" and has a 14" in diameter seat. The seat has been newly recovered with a supple piece of goatskin hide, tanned and finished in a tobbacco brown color. The stool being almost 150 years old does have some paint chips, scratches and wear, all adding to the item's wonderful character. It has 3 cast iron ornate legs, attached to a wood base. the wood base connects to the seat with an iron piece. Adjustable seat. It measures 18& 1/2 inches tall at it's shortest height. This is a great Yamaha YPG625 Digital piano. In excellent condition. Weighted keys, LOADED with features. This is a legit musical instrument, not a kids toy. High quality. Only one owner, and it has been well maintained. Everything is in working order. Includes stool, AC power adapter, and the stand. The only thing missing is the hardware to connect the stand to the piano for more stability. Right now it sits pretty securely on the stand, but if you wanted even more stability you can get the bolts from Lowe's for a couple bucks.
