The settee features a shaped solid walnut crest rail with a raised center of incised carved walnut leaves and carved ribbons on each corner. This tops a three paneled back separated by an open carved scolloped design. The padded arms have a wonderfully carved panel underneath. The scroll shaped walnut arm supports also with incised carvings on the inside and outside lead to beautifully turned legs. The measurements are 38 inches tall. 53 inches long, 26 inches deep, and 19 inches from seat to floor. The weight is about 35 lbs. The large arm chair offers the same wonderful features as the settee. The measurements are 38 inches high, 25 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 17 inches from seat to floor. The weight is about 20 lbs. The side chair measures 35 inches tall, 21 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 19 inches from seat to floor. The weight is approximately 12 lbs. The wonderful platform rocker has a beautifully carved base and is very comfortable and substantial( it would be great in a nursery) All of the pieces do have springs, the vintage fabric is in great condition with no rips or tears. The rocker does show that some of the color has run on the seat. This is a fantastic solid walnut parlor set the wood is very thick and sturdy, there is a piece of wood on the back leg of the sofa down at the roller that has been repaired, I have shown this in a closeup.
