But they also could be mahogany as ... moreI am not an expert on my wood types. Chairs were recovered and restored back in the 20's or 30's with the current needlepoint upholstery they have now. The upholstery is in nice shape and free of damage. Minor cleaning may be needed as they have sat in one spot unused for many years. Both chairs still sit nicely. And comfortably, with no noticeable wear to the seating. The backs of the chairs are faded(pictured) But since the pics were taken they have BEEN REFINISHED so they now look, and match with the rest of the chair. When looking really closely at the wood you can see a couple spots where the chairs were professionally repaired in the past. Currently the arms on the chairs are loose where they meet the back. The legs are all solid and sturdy with no cracks or breaks that I can find. The there are some minor bumps and knicks here and there on the wood, consistent with age, nothing too bad though, and nothing that couldn't be cleaned up/ refinished, if you felt it was needed. The front legs on both chairs have casters to easily move them about. Antique armchairs measure 26" wide. 23" deep, and 41" tall. I am selling these chairs for an older friend of mine. These chairs originally belonged to his mom who lived to be in her 100s. And he is now in his early 80s, so you can rest assured that these are not Post 1950's reproductions. This sale is for Local Pickup only, but I can deliver in the Seattle Metro area for an extra $30. I have noted in my description of condition above that one of the rush bottom seats on this set is broken through, and simply replaced at present with a wood board underneath the seat cushion. I have taken this into account and am selling these chairs"as is" for a great price for someone looking to invest a little love into bringing them back to their full glory by replacing the seat(s) These side dining chairs stand 37 1/2 inches tall and measure 17 1/2 inches wide by 17 inches front to back. The seat height is 18 inches and the seats themselves are 17 1/2 inches wide tapering to 14 inches wide across the back and 15 inches deep. Front to back. I show in my final two photo's that I have a second very similiar set of chairs that could be used together for someone looking for 12 dining chairs. Antique Victorian Aesthetic/Ren Rev Laminated Rosewood/partial gilt side chair
Offered for auction is this super nice and quirky Rosewood laminated side chair with demi arms. The wood on the back frame of the chair is laminated and there are 6 laminations at the thickest part of the carving. Thickness ranges from 3mm to 5mm. A combination of Renaissance Revial. Aesthetic Movement and Rococo styles and what appears to be Anthemions and leaves as the major decoration on the side stiles. Trumpet turned Ren. Rev. style legs with nice white porcelain casters. Chair is 38 1/4" t x 20" seat depth x 21" seat width x 19" floor to seat crest. Very modest incised and gilded lines and decoration on front seat rail with the sides and back seat rail covered in rosewood veneer. A few chinks, scratches, gouges consistent with age and use. Some stress cracking to the veneer as it passes over the rear legs. Chair ... moreis suprisingly comfortable what with the large seat and the demi arms are right at elbow height as you sit. Recently reupholstered with new burlap webbing. Cotton and hogs hair stuffing and all covered with a nice bright red and gold/tan printed cotton fabric. Antique Unique Victorian Style Corner Chair with Pillows
CORNER CHAIR Acquired at an estate sale is this vintage Victorian style corner chair. Great detail in the spindles. Legs and frame. Antique white and gold finish. Measures 26 inches tall at the top of the corner decorative knob and 25 inches tall to the top of the back of the chair rails. Sitting area measures 16 ½ inches by 16 ½ inches. Back rest pillows measure about 10 inches by 15 ½ inches and 10 inches by 11 inches. The pillows are in very good condition. The fabric on the seat has some wear spots– see photos. Sturdy chair- a 200lb adult sat on it for a very moments and it was sturdy and stable. The legs do appear to warp inward a bit and the bottom appears to have been firmed up with some plywood. Extremely old wooden folding chair with double sided advertising! I bought this with a leather backing and when I took it off I saw more advertising as seen in first photo( that is why there is a color different in the wood) You get the leather backing as well which you will also find in photos to see what it originally looked like when I found it. The advertising on the back is in great condition and it is also advertised with the dukes cameo as well! The Seat is leather as well and it is in awesome looking condition. 18” Tall Victorian Era French Bedroom Parlor Chair great for American Girl Doll
This is a very nice doll parlor chair. It measures 18” tall. The wood on this chair is in very good shape with no visible damage. This chair would work great for an American Girl Doll! There is a slight discoloration on the fabric. I think it could easily be cleaned. Because many of my items are estate/vintage items. They are aged and may contain flaws. Dollhouse dresser-pine & press-back chair late Victorian oak style
Offering at auction a nice"pine" dresser and an"oak" side chair that originally went with a table or desk. But the color is similar and they look nice together so I am offering them together. The dresser is 3-5/8" wide, 1-5/8" deep, 3" tall to the dresser surface, 4-7/8" from floor to top of mirror frame. The chair stands about 3" from floor to top of back. Chair seat is 1-3/8" square, and is 1-3/8 from the floor. The chair looks for all the world like oak, but I think it has to be plastic. Very well done, but plastic. The dresser is handcrafted from a light colored hardwood and the drawers pull out. We ship only to US LOCATIONS. thanks for looking.

Victorian Style Sofa and Chair Doll House Furniture
Light wood and tapestry-like upholstery. Sofa is 6" long and 4" tall. Check out my other auctions as I am happy to combine shipping! If you win multiple items please do not pay and I will combine and invoice it altogether! Most of the furniture I sell was made in China/Taiwan unless noted as other wise. Most was manufactured in the 1980's-90's. Furniture and miniatures are scaled 1"1' which is a standard size for most doll houses. If I have a box for the item it will be shown in the photo. Boxes usually have wear on them. Smoke free environment. Most of my items have been stored in a dry attic for many years, they may smell a little old but not moldy. I have found that some time in the fresh air helps eliminated any odors. I do my best to carefully pack everything well. However much of this doll house furniture ... moreis old and the glue is brittle. Occasionally a piece may come apart during shipping. Doll house furniture is easily repaired with a little with glue. I used to work in this industry and much of the furniture was broken even in transit from the factory, we glued it back together regularly. I DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS if items break during shipping.
