Up for consideration is a fine Victorian Arm Chair with original upholstery. The chair measures about 35 inches high by 26.5 inches wide by 22 inches deep. The seat height is 18 inches. The piece in good condition with light signs of wear. Original English Needle point with an Angel gracing the backrest. There is a solid colored material on the back. Antique Victorian Velvet Balloon Back Carved Parlor Chair Beautiful old Victorian Parlor chair- it has detailed carving and the velvet is worn in spots. I've had this chair since the 60's and the bottom has finally gave out. I tried to hold the springs tight with white ties. But that does not work. It can be brought back to a beautiful future, the springs are the usually the first thing to go and then needs to be covered, as you can see it has the original fabric woven on the bottom. One small chip/piece out on the Left knee see photo, it is a sold chair despite its overall look, so I'm starting it at a low price. Any questions please ask. Beautiful Antique Victorian Carved Mahogany Hall Chair- c1890This is a lovely piece of furniture of English origin and dates back to the late 1800’s. The piece has beautiful design that would have an air of elegance to it. The hall chair is a fine example of high quality furniture of the era. Over all the chair is in great condition for it’s age. It has had some knocks in it’s time but these simply add to it’s character and elegance. There is some light fading to theseat from use and the back is a little wobbly but otherwise the chair is very sturdy. You can see from the pictures that the wood is a deep mahogany and of extremely high quality. There is a small gap that runs across the seat of the chair. Which is do to shrinkage over time. This is a lovely set of doll items. First is a vintage Shackman wooden jointed doll with a bisque head and shoulders. She stands about 9.5 inches tall and her original sticker is taped to her back. Her condition is really great. All jointed parts in working order and her bisque face is just beautiful. She was hand made in Japan. The baby doll is also hand painted and appears to be jointed by string. Her legs and arms have movement though one of the legs is a bit stretched but nothing major. She has a lace dress and lace underwear. Her garments seem to be permanently in place. Her hair is quite long, absolutely wild and out of control. She measures about 4 inches from feet to her white bow. The chair is highly detailed and I think it is made of resin. It has weight and is stiff all over. Upholstery is cast, not fabric. One of its rear legs ... morehas weakened and is in need of repair, see last photo. Although the leg is attached, it is weak and has movement when you touch it. Circa 1870. Wonderful carved walnut ladies chair. The chair have been re-upholstered in a very stylish and are in pristine condition. The oval padded backs have foliate carving and gilt at the top The ladies chair has a small raised section at the back which is carved with flower head roundels. The seats on h chair are stuffover and serpentine fronted and beneath him is a wonderful carved apron. Antique Pink Victorian Couch Sofa Love Seat Shabby Chic SEE PICS 1800's Chair
You are looking at a Victorian style love seat/sofa. The wood is still in great condition with no visible wear. The couch is sill firm and sturdy and can be used for everyday living or just an ornamental conversation piece. The upholstery at the seat area has had maybe a coffee or tea spill. The fabric appears to be of satin. You can't tell the couch has spill stains on it from halfway across the room. The marks are subtle. The size is 58' across and 37 1/2 inches tall. It's just the perfect size where it won't take up too much space. The Clayton family brought this piece from their collection with them and had it moved in when they first had a summer house built in 1923 in what is now historic Avondale. These three pieces of furniture came from a farm home in North Carolina. The lady that owned them was considered an"old maid" as she never married. Velvet upholstery has no tears.
