These are unusual to find, and they appear to be in an older refinished ... morecondition. Someone had the chairs reupholstered in a fabric that, in our opinion, leaves a lot to be desired, and in a nice dark oak stain. Back to the upholstery, they heavily cushion these chairs upholstered them attached the upholstery, but then they didn’t put the gimp around the edge on the fabric bottom of the chairs to give it that nice finished look. But it’s very easy to do this yourself. There are a lot of videos online that show you how to upholster chairs and trim chairs like these. It’s very simple, and my daughter did this kind of upholstery for years here in the shop when she was a teenager. It’s a great, fun project.

Vintage Antique Victorian Piano Organ Stool Chair- Eagle Claw and Ball Feet
This is a nice condition Vintage Piano Organ Stool Chair. Has the eagle Claw and Ball feet. This was my grandmas. I'm no furniture expert on age. But from what I've seen I would say it is sometime between 1870-1900. Chair is in great condition. These stools with the backs are very rare. My uncle who is in the furniture making business repaired the top back of chair. You cannot tell except for the screws he used. Back of chair is 36 1/4 inches high. Stool seat turns round and raises and lowers just the way it's suppose to. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have. Right now I cannot find a box so I am going to have to list it pick up only. I would be willing to deliver up to 80 miles one way after payment has been made.

Victorian 1890's kidney shaped seat barrel back spool child's children's chair. This chair and its' matching chair(in another auction) have been in my family here in Lehigh and Chester County. Pa. for all of my 65 years, and my mothers life before that. You can hopefully see that the spools are hand pegged in to the seat back. It has a bentwood barrel back. Originally painted green with a gold pin stripe around the back edge of the seat and also used as decoration on the turned front rung and legs. THIS chair has a piece of electrical tape on the one side rung for at least the past 60 or more years. I have no idea if it is a little crack in the wood. I can tell you it has been there for all my years. And my grown children's lives. I never un-wrapped it, because nothing ever seemed to be wrong, and I feel like it gave it ... moresome charm. I have started this one a few dollars less to compensate for the tape and crack. It is 21 1/2" tall Seat width: 15" Seat depth: 10 1/2" 6 spools on the back. All in place with no issues. A great piece of early Americana. A little history is that my family. Was a traditional Pennsylvania Dutch(German) family, that lived in Allentown, Pa. and in Chester County for many decades. Vintage Victorian Antique Wicker Chair Heywood Wakefield Romantic Shabby Cottage
Available is an antique Heywood Wakefield Victorian wicker chair. It is not a reproduction. I don't know the year it was made. But I was told by an experienced antique dealer that it was 19th century. Condition is good. I don't want the chair to sound worse than it is, but I also want to describe any condition issues. It does have a few minor breaks in the gingerbread filigree, but they are very few and very minor and could easily be repaired. I have enjoyed the chair as it is. Considering its age, the chair is in great condition. If I live to be as old as this chair I hope I am in this good condition! The chair measures about 42 inches tall to the top of the chair, the front to back width is about 22 inches, while the left to right width is about 20 inches. Here is a description of the breaks. I don't want this to sound worse ... morethan it is. But I want to be accurate. See photos as well. The damage is minor, and mostly is to the curly-cue decorations. It appears that they could be glued. In the case of a missing piece, it would involve a piece of cane and beads. Here it is: at top of the back of seat there is a break at the left and right side. Some wicker"ties" that hold the decorations together are missing. In the middle, there are 2 breaks in the gingerbread, but these could be glued. On the opposite side there is a piece of missing cane and beads. I have seen replacement beads for sale, as well as cane. The wood seat is warped, but I was able to sit in the chair. The seat is still serviceable, but you may want to replace it either with wood or cane. If the chair is turned over the original cane is visible, so this once had a cane seat. There is one curly-cue on the back of the leg that is broken, but it could be glued. As can be seen in the photos, there is some paint loss, however that is to be expected. This is a beautiful Victorian solid black walnut swivel and tilting lawyer’s or banking chair that dates from the 1880s. Someone has had ... morethis chair completely refinished years ago. And the finish is still outstanding, showing only minor nicks and dings. The seat is simulated chocolate brown leather, and in the back, it is entirely lace caned. The back is curved, with a notch molding on top, grooved lines coming down the posts, carved rosettes on the outside of the back legs, down into an incise carved four-legged base, which holds the threaded rod that adjusts the seat up or down. The overall size is 23 inches across the arms, 18 inches between the arms, 19 inches deep on the seat, 36 inches high as it is set now, 24 inches to the arm, and 16 inches to the seat. It will adjust up and down. Walnut Victorian office chairs are very hard to find these days. This one is in really, really nice original condition, right down to the brass casters, and came out of a local doctor’s home. Antique Victorian Aesthetic/Ren Rev Laminated Rosewood side chair
Offered for auction is this super nice and quirky Rosewood laminated side chair with demi arms. The wood on the back frame of the chair is laminated and there are 6 laminations at the thickest part of the carving. Thickness ranges from 3mm to 5mm. A combination of Renaissance Revial. Aesthetic Movement and Rococo styles and what appears to be Anthemions and leaves as the major decoration on the side stiles. Trumpet turned Ren. Rev. style legs with nice white porcelain casters. Chair is 38 1/4" t x 20" seat depth x 21" seat width x 19" floor to seat crest. Very modest incised and gilded lines and decoration on front seat rail with the sides and back seat rail covered in rosewood veneer. A few chinks, scratches, gouges consistent with age and use. Some stress cracking to the veneer as it passes over the rear legs. Chair ... moreis suprisingly comfortable what with the large seat and the demi arms are right at elbow height as you sit. Recently reupholstered with new burlap webbing. Cotton and hogs hair stuffing and all covered with a nice bright red and gold/tan printed cotton fabric. Antique Eastlake Victorian Birthing Obstetrical Gynecological Doctor's Chair
For auction is an extremely rare Eastlake Victorian antique medical doctor's obstetrical. Gynecological, obstetrical, or birthing chair. I would date it to between 1880 and 1895. It was manufactured by A McDannold of St Louis. This fact is marked in gold lettering on the front and back of the cast iron base while both sides are marked"The McDannold" This company was still making this type of chair in the early 1900s but they had moved away from the Eastlake style that was popular 20 years earlier. Their 1900 ad proclaim that the chair was excellent for the"Examination and treatment of surgical, gynecological and rectal diseases" The chair comes with two stirrups that fit in one of two holes on the front. Originally, the chair came with a headrest. The bracket to hold it is there but the headrest is missing. The chair ... moreis in excellent condition. The leather( covering needs at least a good cleaning. The gold leaf is present at 95% or more. The chair tilts to one side, raises and lowers, swivels, and can be locked in any position from sitting to full prone. It's actually pretty comfortable to sit in as long as you don't try to put your feet in the stirrups. all the adjustments work as intended. The stirrups may be brass as a magnet is not attracted to them. The Eastlake design can be seen in two of the pictures of the chair sides. The primary wood is oak. The base of the chair measures 23 1/3" by 28" The chair is 26" wide. 32" from front to back and 47" tall not counting the headrest bracket. The base of the chair is heavy and wide enough that it does not require mounting to the floor. This item is for pick up only in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania. Victorian Era? Armless Chair
I'm uncertain of age or origins but to me has some resemblence of Victorian Era furniture. Please email me if you can identify this chair or its time period. Bottom of chairs shows that it has been reupholstered a few times. Area shows square nails used at one time. Chair is in excellent cosmetic condition. No repairs. No damage. One of the curved braces has a missing brass screw which is visible at the bottom of the chair. I'm uncertain of wood used but is a lighter colored wood. Chair needs tweaked to tighten it up some.
