There is profuse marquetry lovely inlay at the top of the legs. The front of table features a central drawer. Which boasts detailed marquetry inlay and a working lock and key. Two fan-inlaid brackets flank the central drawer. The drawers feature the original brass fretted handles. This table has seen its share of wear in the form of old dings and dents to the top that give the table a very charming feel. With a width of 14.75" with both leaves down this table is the perfect size to fit between two chairs or into a variety of other small places. With both leaves up the width expands to an impressive 40.5" giving you a good amount of table top space for serving or extra seating at large gatherings. This gate leg table has beautiful barley twist legs that open and close very smoothly. Besides the distressing to the top, this table is very sturdy and in very good condition. It will last you for generations to come! This table is 14.75" wide with both leaves down. The leaves can be raised independently of each other. The top has a lovely shape.
