I have had this in my home for over 20 years and have always ... moreloved the great form and tall counter height(43" including the 1-3/4" removable wooden casters on the feet) which is seldom found. I don't know the manufacturer and can find no label on it but judging from the quality of the cabinet and the hardware it could be Stickley. Limbert, or another comparable maker from the very early 1900's. All solid quarter sawn tiger oak throughout. No breaks or repairs. Nice original finish with only normal light surface wear. There is one pull missing on the bottom drawer. Measurements are 58" long. 57-1/4" tall to the top of the mirror, 43" height to the counter top, and 22-1/2" deep. These measurements include the 1-3/4" height of the removable wooden foot casters. If you like the Arts& Crafts era furniture here's one with exceptional style and condition that is ready to set into your home. You are welcome to pick this up at my home in Massillon. This austere work from the workshop of Gustav Stickley is an impressive object. The solid oak and oak veneers glow under years of waxing, the finish is soft and velvety with warm mellowed hues and a deep patina from the oxidized charm of use. The back leg retains the decal of the Stickley shop used during the years of 1905-12. It is in every way a very fine investment grade selection. Measurements: 55 13/16" wide x 22 5/8" deep x 29 5/8" high; 18" high to top of cushion Condition Report: Oak veneer cracking and loss throughout. Particularly to the edges of the feet and along the posts. Surface is early, probably not original, well preserved with wax. Scratches, gouges and abrasions throughout, as expected with an antique, these well represented in the photos. Core of feet have typical dry-rot, not causing any issues or weakness. Appears to be the original seat frame(though we have not removed the leather upholstery to examine) reupholstered in a carmel-chocolate leather, this with light abrasions and use indicators. Opens and closes with no gaps or problems with alignment. I do not have the key. It appears to use some kind of round key. Has a silver plated small plaque at the top center area for the owners name or initials. I could find no makers/ manufacturer's name. Please message with any questions. An antique Arts& Crafts style Cabinet with Shelves. We are pleased to present this antique Arts& Crafts/ Mission style Cabinet for your consideration. From a local estate. It is made of Oak wood, and features four(4) adjustable shelves on the inside. It has a single door on the front, with a decorative wooden lattice. The door is designed to hold a sheet of glass, but the glass is missing. A working lock with key is installed on the door to secure the contents of the Cabinet. The Cabinet measures 55-7/8 inches high. 28-1/2 inches wide, and 13-1/8 inches deep. It weighs 64 pounds. There is a label on the back with places for names of the different workers who performed the various assembly steps, but the names are unreadable(see close up picture) Some larger painted numbers are found on the back, and there is the number 252 impressed ... moreinto the wood towards the top of the back. We were unable to make a positive identification of the manufacturer. Wear to the Cabinet is age appropriate with nothing of a serious nature. Other than replacing the missing glass. There is nothing the buyer will need do to prepare this piece for use. Shelves have pegs which support them, with holes in the sides of the interior for easy adjustment. Antique 1890's MISSION OAK 3 Panel FABRIC on Dowels ROOM DIVIDER FOLDING SCREEN
This original MISSION OAK 3 panel screen has been part of my life. For my entire life! I am 66 years old, and my nana had this upstairs with an old quilt as the panels. Later in life, when nana had went home at the age 101 years old, the screen was part of the house. I put new dowels in it about 18 years ago, and just always, had it as you see it now, with sheer curtains on the dowels. I now find myself in much smaller surroundings. And can not find room for the old room divider. If it could tell stories. But sadly, it has to find a new home. Maybe with someone doing a mission oak bedroom or living room, or, a shabby and chic room. All that has to be done, is for you to change out the curtain panel I have in it. It still has the original hardware on it. Nothing was changed except the dowels. Which I always meant to stain dark oak. Here are ... morethe dimension of this charming screen. It stands 68" tall. BOOK SHELF Antique ARTS & CRAFTS Mission SHELVES Storage OAK Heart Shape Cutout
A small Arts& Crafts/ Mission style Book Shelf with a Heart Shaped Cutout at the top. We are pleased to present this antique Arts& Crafts/ Mission style Book Shelf for your consideration. It is made from Oak wood. And features a small Heart Shaped Cutout at the top. Although a narrow piece, it provides plenty of storage with a top shelf, a compartment with door, and three(3) lower shelves, all with backstops for your books. The compartment has a lock installed, but we received this estate piece without its key. The unit measures 43-3/4 inches high. 12 inches wide, and 5-5/8 inches deep. It weighs 8 pounds 6 ounces. There is a bracket on the back attached with one screw(shown in the 2nd to last picture) that could be used to attach the shelves to the wall. There are no major faults, and we rate the overall condition as very good. This is a charming piece with an eye catching heart shaped opening at the top. Old Mission Oak Table Top Miniature Book Shelf w/ Drawers - Bookshelf
Approx. 22 1/2" long x 10" tall x 6 1/2" wide. This old oak book shelf is mission style. Well made, nice and heavy at 9 pounds. Each end holds a book that you may possibly be reading, and the center of the shelf holds the rest. The two drawers are an added touch. One drawer tends to stick. There are scratches in the wood where the books sit. They are visible but don't tend to take away from the great look of this shelf. Nice size, easy to incorporate into your already crowded home! This is a well made antique Arts& Crafts Mission quartersawn solid fumed oak frame. It was made during the Stickley era. It dates from the very late 19th century to the early 20th century. Overall. It measures 22 3/8 inches by 26 3/8 inches(56.8 cm x 67 cm) The back opening size is 18 inches by 22 inches(45.7 cm x 55.9 cm) The molding width is 2 1/2 inches(6.35 cm) There are no chips or repairs. However there are minor scuffs and flea bites on it from wear. Overall, it is in very good original condition with a great patina. Vtg Antique Mission Style Quarter Sawn Oak Lamp Stickley Era Slag Glass Light
For your consideration is a Mission style table lamp. The quarter sawn oak base is 6 3/4" square and the lamp stands 19 1/2" tall. The 14" square slag glass shade has all its original glass panels. Though two of the panels do have cracks. Both sides are shown in the last two photos, glass panels are tight with no missing pieces. The vintage brass pull chain switch socket accepts a standard base bulb(bulb not included) The lamp has been rewired with an 18 gauge cloth covered wire and a vintage style two prong plug. The oak lamp base and framework for the shade is all intact with no breaks or damage. Great looking lamp! Shipping quoted is insured to a street address in the lower 48 states. Rare Gustav Stickley tall and heavy hand hammered 3 socket copper lamp base.model 262(see included photo from"Early Work of Gustav Stickley" catalog reprint. Page 153) A great restoration project. As it is, it is appx. 27" tall, 18" to the top of the base. Base is 7-1/4" diameter. Weighs over 5 lbs. Some of the original patina remains. No shade is included. Missing the shade holder pieces(compare to catalog reprint photos) Sockets are new. Original ball at the top(one screw replaced) A great organically shaped form w/ six separate pieces forming the body as it flares out and tapers to the top where there is more detailed workmanship.
