I believe my ... moreparents bought it in 1958 or 1959. I don’t know much about furniture but I’ll describe them as best I can. The dresser measures approx. 52” wide by 21” deep by 36” high. Has six deep drawers, and matching mirror. The top drawer on both sides has a sliding jewelry tray. Next is the chest of drawers. It stands approx.48” high by 20”deep by 36” wide. There are five drawers. Each a little deeper than the other from top to bottom, ranging from 4” to 18” The top drawer also has a sliding jewelry tray. Third is the night stand. Its dimensions are 28” high by 16” deep by 20” wide. It has one drawer and shelf space underneath. Last but not least is the regular size bed frame. I have the head and foot boards and the 2 side boards; however I don’t know what became of the slats that hold the mattress and box spring up. This set is used. It has some scratches and chips here and there. There is a reddish stain on the dressers top. Possibly from a perfume spill. Also, when I took the mirror off, I found a brown stain, for lack of a better description, that was hidden underneath that seems to have eaten part of the laminate. All in all this set is in nice shape given its age and use. This item is pick up only

You are bidding on vintage 1950s French desk/ table lamp. The lampshade is made of aluminium lacquered black on the outside and white on the inside to reflect light. It has perforations around its top. The stem is made of chrome flex which allows for a wide scope of adjustments. The bulb casing is separate from the main lampshade and stands independently on the base. It is encased in a large chrome cone and fitted to a short chrome stem with a ball joint allowing to adjust its angle easily. The base is made of cast iron with a sheet metal cover lacquered canary yellow. The original switch is on the base and is fitted with a chrome rim. Very good condition and in full working order. This is a small. Sleek Park Sherman desk lamp, circa 1975, in high-quality molded plastic in creamy off-white with black arm and detailing. It is surprisingly heavy. The light can be moved in a wide variety of ways for function and versatility; pivot mechanism works very well. Wiring is pliable and in great condition, as is the lamp as a whole. I absolutely love this cast metal bird! I'm fairly sure it's aluminum but maybe pewter or similar metal. The lamp must have been a work in progress when I purchased it because it appears to be ready for new paint. Currently offered to the aficionado of mid-century modern design are a set of(4) wrought iron 28" hairpin table/desk legs. These were wire brushed and clear lacquered(3 coats) so they will not rust anymore. They have a patina consistent with age and use. These are the heavy duty version with a slight splay. Vintage cabinet finished in walnut veneer. It has a two-door deep cabinet at the bottom with built-in dividers. The center part has a slide-out tray workspace surface which tucks in nicely for compact neat look when unit is closed. The top has a tambour roll-up door which is in good working order. Inside you can fit lots of glassware. Barware, a coffee and cocktail station for your parties, or use as a pantry cupboard, as a desk for your laptop, as a tuck-away office space, as a valet cabinet for clothing and accessories, or as a stand for your television, computer and audio equipment. The inside dividers are mixed woods. The backer is thin plywood, and there's a small hole in the upper back so you can pass an electric cord inside to add a light, power strip, etc. There is an old lock mechanism on the side of the cabinet for the tambour, ... morebut I do not have a key. Age estimate of this piece is mid century, likely 1940's- 1970. The only mark found is on underside"MADE IN YUGOSLAVIA" It has age-appropriate wear and some stains on the wood top and the work surface. There is some wear to the back edges of the veneer on the sides. It has not been cleaned up. Overall, it presents fairly well. It is a very heavy piece of furniture. FLETCHER AVIATION DESK ART DECO MID CENTURY AIRCRAFT INSPIRED RARE OFFICE DESK
Fletcher Aviation company office desk. Wow extremely rare very desirable mid century modern desk made by the Fletcher Aviation company of Pasadena. California around 1945 to 1946. The metal data plate in one of the drawers reads“patent applied for” and thus indicates that the date is prior to the patent issue date in 1947. These desks were made to fit in a corner so the two or more workers could occupy space where previously on one could. There are several styles of finish and color of these desks, with some being fancy and some more simple and modern and streamlined. Many are painted black now to hide a poor finish. Ours has never been restored or touched. The kick panel on the underside where you feet would touch if you had long legs, is broken and needs to be replaced, which could be done by someone who is versed in curving and setting ... morethin plywood. Some of the drawers dovetail joints may need to be re-glued, but they still slide in and out fine. There are numerous little scratches and dents etc to the finish, and there are some places where the trim is damaged, where I am pointing in the pics pretty much, but there are more areas than that. There are at least two cigarette burns, I am pointing to them. Many of these desk have the date when they were made written in chalk on the bottom, but this one does not. Just the Stamp that reads Bleached Mahogany on the bottom of the drawer. This is a very unusual desk to be sure. As these are made by an aviation company and not furniture makers, they are very lightweight, and made like a WWII aircraft would be and not a piece of furniture. There are several nice examples of these on the internet, and a few in modernist museums. This one is a true California original. It has no doubt lived it's life here and would be nice if it stayed here, I am sure that a Modern or Googie style collector would find this most appealing. It used to be a teal color and they changed it to white with a dark copper accent. The white parts could stand to be repainted because of some scratches and it wasn't done properly. Vintage WRIGHT LINE CABINET/DESK Business Industrail Mid Century Machine Age
This auction is for a Vintage WRIGHT LINE CABINET. I purchased this as it is. I'm not sure if this was one side of a desk that was made into a cabinet at one point of its life. The top is definitely period to the base. This works get as a desk in a small area. This has a slide out writing surface and 4 drawers. This is heavy double lined cabinet. The top has a hard rubber surface. Check out the photos. The inside of the drawers are clean. There is some slight rust on the back corner edges(see photos of inside of drawers) This has the WRIGHT LINE metal tag at bottom of cabinet. The metal cabinet is in nice condition. No rust or dents. But could used some cleaning. This was used in a auto repair garage office. This has a lock for the bottom drawer(no key) whick is a secure drawer. You cannot get into it from the uppers drawers.
