It has three small pull out drawers on the inside with the middle drawer having a lift up mirror and there are three larger drawers below the desk area. The inside of the desk also has a couple of cubby shelves. If you look below the second shelf you can see someone has cut a small hole to pass cords through. I could not find any markers markings but I am guessing from other items in the house of this estate sale it is Danish and probably from the 60's or 70’s. It is of smaller proportions making it ideal for a smaller room. The approx. measurements are: 3’ 6½” tall/ 2’ 11” across the front and is 1’ 5¼” wide. There are a couple of very small little marks or bumps but nothing major and overall it is in Very Good used condition. This Would Be A Very Stylish Addition To Any Home! Vintage Mid Century 60's Metal Fluorescent Desk Table Light Lamp Industrial
Vintage Art Deco Desk Lamp This great old lamp has been recently painted with aged brass and white finishes. It has a heavy and sturdy base which includes a pen and pencil holder. The base and arms have a textured"wrinkle" finish. The shade is somewhat adjustable- it tilts up and down just a bit. The lamp has a small dent where one of the arms attaches to the shade- shown in the last photo. The switch has 2 positions for turning it on- the first position lets the bulb warm up. Then the switch clicks to on and the bulb lights up all the way. The lamp weighs about 8 1/2 pounds and stands about 15" high. This is a nice retro. Mid-century modern mahogany desk accessory. It has swivel arms on a beveled edge base. The arms meet flatly in the middle with rounded poles which swivel 360 degrees. There is a slight rubbing in the base surface where the arms have swiveled. The arms are attached to the base with vintage, flat head screws. There is a partial gold and brown label which seems to read"Kartekra. which also appears to have a symbol of a rising or setting sun through trees.

Vintage Desk Industrial Mid Century Modern Steel Frame Paul McCobb Formica
Up for auction I have a vintage industrial mid century desk. This looks very similar to me to the Paul McCobb designs. There are no markings on the desk but it matches his look very much and if it is not his. It is definitely of that theme. It has a very 50's feel to it. This was my Dads. It is a user but in overall good used vintage condition. It does need some attention in some areas. There are no original tags or markings on it. This is supposedly a very rare low production desk. It's a wonderful example but was used. I took the time to note all the small issues I saw but that does not take away from how cool this desk is. With a little refurbishing it would be perfect. Has a brass colored steel frame with little plastic feet bottoms. The frame is very cool and has a nice design to it. Metal shows scratches and general use and ... moreage wear. The drawers pull out nicely. All drawers were painted white on the inside. Not sure if this is original. One back has white paint as well. It has a white formica top. The formica top shows some light age wear but is overall very nice. A stain on the front edge of formica as well as some tape reside on the side. The three side drawers are decent with the very bottom one showing some chipping and wear to the front corner as you can see in the photo. Insides all need a cleaning especially the one on top that must have been used the most. Some de-lamination to the front. Desk is very lightweight. This is a beautiful sculpted rosewood chair. Made in Denmark with purple upholstery, and in excellent condition! Though I'm not sure who designed it, it's Reminiscent of some of the hans Wegner designs. Condition is good. A couple chips around the edges of the seat back to the rosewood veneer. Back is rosewood veneer. Rest of chair is solid rosewood) Minor cosmetic things like some parts of the wood being a bit lighter or darker, probably due to sun exposure over time. Some minor scuff marks by the bottom of the legs, but otherwise it's in very good shape. No structural issues at all, it's as tight and solid as the day it was first made.
