The dresser measures 5" tall. 4 1/4" wide and 3" deep. It is in very nice condition. Except is has a crease across the back, not visible from the front. This charming Drop Front Desk is a nice example of the small furniture that was made by the Amish of Lancaster County. Pennsylvania and decorated with typical motifs of colorful flowers on black enamel. It’s nicely made with 2 functioning drawers that have brass tacks as knobs. The slant front opens to reveal letter shelves and a writing area. The desk measures 5.5” tall; 4 ¾” wide; 2 ¾” deep. The desk is in very good condition. Each piece has a yellow label on the bottom which reads- Original Penna. Dutch Miniatures made in the Heart of the Dutch Country- Lancaster. Pa. On the bottom of the desk there is also glue residue possibly from the original price tag. These pieces are in their original state and have not been cleaned. Repaired or polished. Opened without any leaves measures approximately 58 in. long by 42 in. wide. Has two(2) 12 in. original leaves and one smaller makeshift 10 in. leaf that make the table a maximum length of 92 in. long.almost 8 ft. Has 4 double curved legs with claw feet and brass toe caps. The table and leaves are in very nice condition with no major scratches. Comes with a 2 piece. Thick felt table cover protector. Set of six(6) dining chairs are Victorian style with curved legs. Padded upholstered seats and ornately carved backs(please see closeup picture) The fabric on the seats is cream/off-white colored(a little darker than the pictures show) with light rose/pink colored ... moreflowers. The fabric on the seats is in really good condition with no rips or tears, but there are some spots and they could use a good shampooing/cleaning. Cabriole legs, and pad feet. This is a close copy of the Kittinger WA 1020 Williamsburg table, this table is a little larger than the Kittinger version. On this table the top and the drop-leaf are both one board, and when you raise the leaf it appears to me that they may both have been cut from the same wide board, which would have made that board 30" wide. The pictures do a fairly good job of showing the grain in the top of this table, which is beautiful. ANTIQUE HEPPLEWHITE/PEMBROKE DROP LEAF CHESS TABLE +1966 NAPOLEONIC CHESS SET-A+
I rescued this from my Great Grandfather's farm in 1977 after he passed away at age 92. The farm was established(or at least the barn was built) 1819.Originally the Enezer Eaton(passed away in 1847) farm. ANYWAY. this was in one of the out buildings. I brought home. Cleaned up& treated with Linseed oil. The top middle was rough so, I wood burned a chess table in center& trimmed with acrylic paint. Came out nice! 1 inch squares for chess. I was told in 2004 from a reputable antique dealer from Lebanon, Ohio, that he thought it was a HEPPLEWHITE/PEMBROKE table from the 1800's. No further research has been done by me, though I did see a couple of HW/P drop leafs same size(center14" wide, overall with leafs open 21"front to back& 29" wide. Drawer is 91/2"W X 14 1/2"D X 2 1/4" high)on line& ... morelooked very similar, but the inlay I found on mine, after cleaning, around entire edge is a little fancier than on others. ALL original! Nice original drawer pull, hinges ETC. Drawer has large dove tailing. I also have a cut piece of Burgandy velvet I place in drawer. No repairs that I can see. Drops are nice& tight as is all else. The table is really attractive all around! The"Classic Games Company" Napoleonic Chess set I purchased in 1972 From a friend. MADE IN 1966 is complete& SUPERB condition with original box. Booklet& board. Pieces are weighted with felt bottom(a couple of felt pieces have been replaced) King is"4!4 inches tall. Box is in near perfect condition with age. Up for auction is this Stickley Dining Set post 1950. It is being sold as is and does have evidence of use. The table has water marks. Scratches, nothing that can't be repaired. The table when fully open is 71 1/2" long. It is 44" wide, 29 3/4" tall. When the leaves are down the table is 27 1/2" Each leaf is 22" It does come with 4 rush seat ladder back chairs. The seats are all in good condition, they have had pads on them for protection. The chair backs are 40" tall and the seats are 18 1/2" x 16" The chairs are marked Stickley Fayetteville Syracuse. A beautiful 18th century Queen Anne drop leaf table in walnut. We do not know the maker or the region of origin. It measures approximately 27.75" tall and 41.75" long. With the leaves folded down. It measures just over 17" wide. With the leaves open, it measures about 44-1/8" wide. It shows normal wear and tear commensurate with age and use- most notably a scratch in the center of the top of the table. It has been refinished and it is possible a board of the top has been replaced(not sure, please see photos and judge for yourself) It is in good antique condition. Original Early 1800's 6 hinged Drop Leaf Table. Sheraton period style. All wood appears to be cherry and table slab grains matched/cut from same tree! All original with turned legs and mortise& tenon table frame construction. Corner blocks glued too with just one leg missing original corner blocks. Underside you can see original scribe lines and pencil markings used during construction. Six hinges total(5 original) with one replaced in late 1800's period. Wood appears to be cherry and was at least from the late 1600's growth era with a medium brown finish. But please check photos as some of these tables where made from American Walnut. Table top thickness just under 7/8" Hand scraped on underside center piece. Opened it is 49" long x 42" wide. Center top is 19" wide. One leaf is 15-3/8" wide while ... moreother is 14-3/4" wide& all are solid wood cut slabs, no splices. Height is 28-1/2" Legs are wood lathe turned from 2"x2" stock. Nice solid table that has survived many years. Some wear on 2 of the feet while the others are quite fine. Description-The mahogany is so beautiful that you can see the reflection of everything around it. It's in such immaculate shape that not only does the wood have a nice shine to it. But the original color of the tread are still on the tires. Along with that are fully rounded wheels for easier pushing along the floors.
