This type of chair is named after King Dagobert I(603-639 ... moreAD) Dagobert’s tomb, remade in the thirteenth century under Gothic influence, can be seen at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Denis. This specific chair was made during the Renaissance revival period and is heavily sculpted with the classical patterns of this era. The central slat is nicely sculpted with acanthus leaves and mounted with a cartouche flanked by detailed Lion’s Heads, all standing on the curved seat below, with nicely scrolled armrests on each side, supported by a sturdy X-shaped pediment with H-shaped stretcher for stability. A rare find indeed. I was going to restore it before I listed it but decided to leave that up to the person who buys it whether they choose to or not. It is completely original and shows use and wear from the years of usage. Great patina! It is stamped in the drawer with the Drexel makers mark as seen in photos. I am listing as"pick up only" If you are willing to prepay for shipping and arrange a pick up thats fine. I can box it up to go. We can make arrangements after the auction. I cannot take to shipping center they must pick up at my address. I will need a few days to prepare it unless it doesnt need to be packaged for shipping per your carrier. Up for auction is a vintage combo fountain pen from the maker Drexel. The fountain is black with gold tone trim. The mechanical pencil portion turns easily and does work as the inside push rod extends. The fountain pen nib is stamped"Iridium 4" And is steel made. It is doubtful that this is the original nib. The cap is a screw on, with a single cap band, clip firmly attached to the side of the cap. The clip is stamped"Drexel" The barrel is round and black throughout. The fountain pen has been cleaned including the nib/feeder section, ink sac replaced, and polished to bring back the shine of this pen. Here are a pair of ornately carved chairs in a gold painted finish. I believe they were made between 1960 and 1968 as that is when the company was called Drexel Enterprises. The chairs are solid and sturdy. The upholstery is in good condition but a bit soiled. The finish is worn in a few places but overall in good shape. These would look great at both ends of a dining table or as accent chairs in the living room. The backs are 49" high. The seat is 18" high, 21.5" wide and 19" deep. I have a Drexel bed set that I need to sell. This set comes with 2 twin bed frames(no matters) 1 night stand, 1 dresser and 1 mirror. The mirror can be hung either vertical or horizontal, can be hung on the wall or I have the bars to attach it to the dresser. The dresser has a hidden compartment in the top center(see picture) There are gold and silver flowers on all pieces and I have cut to fit(I think they are original) glass tops for the night stand and the dresser. Angled corners and graceful kneed bracket feet really enhance the classic elegance of this piece. This 5 drawer chest is in overall very good condition. All of the drawers have tight dovetails and operate smoothly. There are a couple of issues on the top including a split that is a few inches long and some small dark spots that are clustered together. While noticeable, these spots are greatly exagerated by the camera. They could be repaired without too much difficulty. Vintage Drexel Server Side Board Buffet Wood Cherry
This antique Drexel server is made of cherry. The top drawer pulls all the way out. And is actually a serving tray. Underneath the tray are two separate drawers- one is divided for silverware, and the third drawer down is one long drawer. Underneath the long drawer is cabinet space. The drawer pulls are very unique, with flowers etched into the brass. This server was not gently used. As you can see from the photos, there is some damage to the bottom part that sits on the floor, which has been stained over. The top has some light wear, to be expected for it's age. Still, it has a very beautiful patina. The dimensions are 36" wide, 19" deep, and 33" tall.

VNTG HICKORY NC DREXEL HERITAGE FRENCH PROVINCIAL BUFFET TABLE CABINET MUSTARD
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Mid Century, vintage buffet table/sideboard. The cabinet features Old World detailing with elements of both French County/Provincial and Italian design. The wood has a golden yellow/mustard wash with visible grain. The cabinet has ornate carved accents. There are geometric designs on each of the rounded corners. The double front doors have a faux lattice pattern inside the carved panels as well as carved flowers above the insets. There are painted, pale teal accents on the doors. The doors both open and there is a large upper drawer for storage as well as an open storage area which is under the drawer. The top of the cabinet is laminate. It is black with a faux marble pattern. It is also textured to replicate stone. The cabinet sits on casters and is easily moved. This lovely piece was part of a dining ... moreroom set and was manufactured by Drexel Heritage in Hickory, NC. It is numbered but the manufacturer's tag is missing. The tag was on the matching dining table but, due to some damage, we did not purchase the table. This is a striking and beautiful sideboard. It would make a gorgeous entry table as well. It is in very good condition. There are a few, very minor scuffs to the finish, but nothing distracting or severe. The sideboard measures 41" wide. 19" front to back, and 32" tall.
