The lid weighs 2.56 ounces(72.7g) The bottom of the glass ... morepot has some typical age related base wear and fleabite chips but otherwise it seems to be in good order. T here are some age related dents and dings around the silver lid and as you can see one corner has been impacted and squashed. The hand mirror has a removable brush insert which is held in with a plastic clip which makes it easier to wash and clean. I think there may be a piece missing from the end of the handle. It measures 10in x 3.5in(25.5cm x 9cm) The clothes brush measures 6in x 2in(15cm x 5cm) and the hand mirror which has bevilled glass measures 12.75in x 4.5in(32cm x 11.5cm The handleis loose. An elegant turned wood hair tidy with screw-on lid. For holding odds and ends on the dressing table. Probably Edwardian or possibly Art Deco. Made of ebony. The base is marked: EBONY Just under three inches tall. The lid has a curved top. With a central hole designed to push the hair combings in without needing to take the lid off. The sides are almost straight. Condition: Fairly good condition. The wood is very smooth and pleasant to handle. With a nice dark color. Small surface marks from normal use. Antique Pine Dressing Table with Framed 3 Sided Mirror
This is a beautiful pine dressing table. It has carved detail around the border of the mirror and on the doors of the table. The mirror comes off if desired. The sides of the mirror are movable. Each side of the dressing table has a cabinet with a shelf and in the middle there is a drawer. Everything is original. It has a few scratches and stains as you can see but nothing major at all. Some of the pieces of wood are separating a very little bit as old pieces will do but again nothing major at all. It's absolutely beautiful and I've enjoyed it for many years. A wonderfully handsome and unusual jewellery box in the form of a bow fronted dresser on legs or a dressing table with two solid silver knobs to the front making it appear as if the drawer would open. The top is beautifully engine-turned with a circular vacant cartouche in the centre. The box opens to reveal the original interior in navy blue silk and velvet with the rear section fitted to accommodate six rings. SUPERB 1894 FABERGE SILVER DRESSING TABLE MIRROR MINT CONDITION BEST QUALITY Presented is a marvelous Faberge silver dressing table mirror. This piece dates to 1894. The silver of the mirror is thick. Heavy gauge, and the construction is of the highest quality. The mirror has a wonderful scrolled leaf and shell motif, with elegant scrolling feet. The silver is finely detailed, down to the veining of the leafs and the texturing of the shells. The top of the mirror has a large cartouche with a monogram of KW in script. The backing and the support stand are rich, dark wood. This dressing mirror is a handsome, impressive work of art, by the most widely renowned and sought after maker of fine Russian silver. We acquired this piece from a local estate. The family's history ... moreis as a very wealthy shoe company in Germany. Which is undoubtedly where this mirror was first purchased. The family was one of few to make it out of Germany with its fortunes intact, and we don't doubt that this mirror has been in the same family from the time of its original purchase. This piece is in fabulous. Near mint condition. The mirror itself has a little bit of fogginess, but nothing of any real significance, and the mirror could easily be redone. The silver is in great condition, with no splits, dents or other damages. The wooden back and stand are in good shape. The grosgrain ribbon is new. The mirror is stamped with the maker's mark for Faberge(in Cyrillic script) as well as the city mark for Moscow. The Imperial Warrant mark, the assay mark dated 1894 and the purity mark 88 for 916 purity silver. These hallmarks are located on both the top and bottom half of the hinge of the stand, on the underside of the mirror, and on a leaf on the lefthand side, visible in the third photo. Beautiful dressing table doily in beige measuring approximately 23" across the top. 17" across the middle, 12" long down the middle(not including the tassels) and 17-1/2" down the ends. The young man managing his grandmother's estate sale said that the doilies I purchased from him were handmade by his great grandmother in the 1920s. It is in overall better than average condition except for a small area of the outside edging on the"pinwheel" on the left second from the bottom which is gone. It should be an easy fix. There are, of course, a few areas of age discoloration which are barely visible except upon very close inspection. This is an estate piece being sold as is. Lovely 1927 Antique Hallmarked Silver Hand or Dressing Table Mirror
For sale I have this lovely antique hallmarked sterling silver hand mirror or dressing table mirror. The silver is hallmarked for English sterling silver. Was assayed in Birmingham with the date letter for 1927 and the makers mark D M CC. The piece measures 23cm/9" in length by 13cm/5" across the mirror. The condition of the piece is very good with some areas of miner damage to the silver which I have tried to show in the photos. The mirror is in good order with some very slight foxing to the outer rim but nothing that spoils the look or use. A lovely usable antique to grace any dressing table. VINTAGE ROCKFORD STANDARD FURNITURE CO WOOD VENEER VANITY DRESSING TABLE MIRROR
What a gorgeous and affordable Valentine's Day gift for that special girl in your life.THIS ITEM IS AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PICKUP ONLY IN THE MADISON. WI AREA. Up for auction is a recent estate find: an earlier 20th century vanity or dressing table. Complete with original mirror, and manufactured by Rockford Standard Furniture Company out of Rockford, IL. This is confirmed by the original thick brown paper identification tag stapled to the lower rear foot of the dresser, STILL INTACT and fully legible. Also on the tag is handwritten"450 vow" which may be a model number along with a craftsman's initials. This company stopped manufacturing in 1929, and then continued with retail only and I believe a different company name. My best guess is this vanity is from the 1920s to 1940s period, depending on when the item actually sold ... moreon the showroom floor. The lower two of four drawers have an ornate metal handle(see photos) While the upper two drawers have translucent, orange-ish plastic or resin handles that matches two plastic/resin knobs on either side of the upper mirror framework. Etched inside the knobs are the letters"EHWCO 3108. I believe the wood to be a veneer finish, with pine drawers and the appearance of some inlays that may only be paneling. Mirror is in excellent condition. And the vanity is nicely preserved for being a used estate item. Refinishing this item would bring out the splendor that Rockford Standard Furniture Co. was known for with its ornate cabinetry. Dimensions are 46" long x 17" deep x 27.5" high at the desk height; with the mirror and its stand add another 34" in height for a grand total height of approx. 62" The mirror itself is roughly 29" at its widest and 30" tall. Lace "Dressing Table?" Doilies/Place mats.
These are six lace doilies which I would imagine would be for a dressing table or tea table. They are exquisitely carefully made and I have to let the photos tell their story since my knowledge of lace is pretty non-existant. I know that they were my late mother's but I have never seen them being used. She had many things from her mother so I would imagine that they are early 20th century or late Victorian. They are somewhat discoloured from lack of use. Any more information please ask.

Rare set of matching Victorian Rococo brass/bronze mirrored vanity or boudoir table trays with lovely trumpet flower motif. This is a stunning set.rarely are two found together. Quite large with each tray measuring approx. 25 inches long x 15 1/2 inches wide. In wonderful antique condition with foxing. The foxing is more notable on one tray with age discoloration to the glass. There is a heavy black fabric on the bottoms of the trays and it feels as if the base of the trays may be wood. The fabric is excellent and I believe original. Brass is marked TS B.
