These toys were highly popular and were usually designed to unload marbles or sand from an elevated hopper and once set in operation. You are considering an antique primitive solid walnut mercantile cupboard complete with sliding double doors. Two bin doors, three bins and shelves with plate groves. The sugar bin used to be lockable, but the lock is long gone. It is a beautiful piece. It is solid, heavy and quite unique. It is the nicest piece I have come across in a long time. Based on information from a friend who I consider to be a expert, I date this piece from the 1810s or 1820s. It may have been refinished at some point many, many years ago. Offering for sale is this painted Vintage Oak Hoosier Cabinet in good overall condition. The base measures 32 1/2" tall x 40 1/2" wide x 27 1/2" deep. The top measures 37 1/4" tall x 40 1/2" wide x 11 3/4" deep. The top section detaches easily with a few screws. Take a look at the pictures. The Porcelain shows wear. The slag glass looks in great condition. The roll is complete and in one piece. When I received this cabinet the roll was stuck up inside the key way. When this cabinet sells I will use some paste wax and try to get the roll in sliding condition. There are some small steel brackets that are attached to the widest drawer and the bread drawer top does not look to be original and is not attached. Country Pine Hand Crafted Corner Cupboard. This charming country pine corner cabinet appears to have been rebuilt about 50 years ago from an older cupboard. There are deep moldings. Classical fluting and richly detailed paneled doors, which have shrinkage separations from age for antique character. The warm honey finish is in extremely fine condition and has been waxed and buffed so only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its glow. This American made furniture has a painted interior. Dimensions are 4' across the crown tip to tip. 82 1/2" tall and the sides are 34" deep from the back corner to the front tip of the crown. Here is a really nice old store cabinet. Not sure of it's origin. Was bought here in NY at an estate sale. 32 drawers. Some with removable dividers. All function properly. I believe it was recessed into a wall originally. It measures 60 1/2 wide at the front. 59 3/4 wide at the back. It is 65 high and 18 3/8 deep. The inside drawer measurements are 12 1/2 wide. 16 3/8 deep and 4 3/4 high. Has curly maple along the top front. This piece opens for additional storage as shown in photo. Drawer fronts are maple. Sides are pine. Solid structurally. No broken or missing parts. Nice original condition cosmetically. Can be picked up in Long Beach, NY. Just east of New York City. This primitive cabinet is just stunning! It measures 21.5" by 16" by 6" and has curved feet so it can stand on its own or be hung from a wall. I love the egg cabinet with spaces carved out for eggs. All ceramic containers are good. Only one or two tiny unnoticeable chips and hairlines on the entire set. They are stamped maestricht ceramique society, made in holland. This cabinet isn't the kind that has a mirror built into it. There is a single wooden shelf inside and pin spaces for two shelves. The pins inside are made of threaded rod. Either because they wanted the pins to stay put or because that's just what they had.
